3. Turkey Sandwich, 2. Roast Beef Sandwich, 1. Ham Sandwich, 10. Veggie Sandwich
Wesley L.

Huge shoutout to the team at Sourdough & Co who helped me pull together a work lunch for 12 people on short notice! Their sandwiches were tasty with a great variety of proteins for different dietary needs. Not many sandwich places use sourdough as the sandwich bread which was also makes them stand out. Their staff also followed all the specifications (cheese, sauce, and spreads on the side) which allowed everyone to customize sandwiches to their liking. The shop itself is located under the Enclave campus housing with some seating inside. One major pain point was their ordering / POS system because it asks you to make specifications for EACH sandwich when I would much rather make a selection that would apply to my whole order (I.e. all cold, all normal vegetable fixings, these types of cheese, etc.). Would order again for myself, but was pretty complicated for a group order.

Solid sandwich shop! Its American ambiance is interesting, but the food is pretty tasty. I will say my first time here my sandwich wasn't very flavorful, but this time around my veggie sandwich was great, especially the bread.

Italian flatbread

Really, really tasty Italian flatbread, but pretty pricey! For $20 I expected something twice as big. Nevertheless, it's soooooo good that I'll probably plunk down the cash for it next time too. I'm a sucker for good quality.

I can't give a rating of 3 or better because they messed up on almost every single item I ordered. 1st - I asked if I could only have romaine lettuce on my salad without mixed green and they said yes. But I guess not! 2nd- I asked for wheat bread but came in sourdough. This time, I had to request for a redo. 3rd- my turkey pesto sandwich barely tasted any pesto. It was dry as hell. Spent over $70 here and Mezzo was wayyyy better and worth the value.

I had a veggie sandwich from sourdough and co. I placed the order via snackpass for pick up. The inside of the restaurant was clean and not too busy. I was greeted by the staff and they quickly prepared my order. The veggies in the sandwich tasted very fresh and the bread was very soft and delicious. They were not at all skimpy as you can see! The only thing I didn't like was their house sauce. It is way to sweet for a sandwich. This is probably the sweetest sandwich i've ever had which caught me off guard. They also add carrots to their sandwiches which was a first for me but they added a nice crunch. However, when paired with the sweet sauce they didn't really fit in well. If I come back, I'd get it without the house sauce.

The chowder is definitely worth coming here for a quick bite! Be sure to order on SnackPass for 10% off an order of $25. The bowl with two pieces of sourdough was around ~ $7 after taxes. The wait took a bit but it was well worth it. The chowder itself was really good, it was thick, creamy and had a good ratio of soup to clam. The bread was also really good with the soup! It had a good crunch to it and fit perfectly with the chowder itself. That said, it's near campus and a good walking distance for great clam chowder! They have other selections which include subs, sandwiches, and other great sourdough makes and pairs. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

3.5/5. Been here a couple times now, I feel like the sandwiches are solid but the only reason I would get a sandwich here instead of Cheese N Stuff around the corner (which has literally the same stuff for half the price) is because Sourdough & Co. is open later. I also tried the clam chowder which I felt was flavorful without being too heavy. Slightly expensive still, but where else are you gonna get good clam chowder around Berkeley?

At first glance, Sourdough & Co. doesn't look like much, but I decided to try it with a friend regardless. I usually don't prefer sandwiches but as I scanned the menu, my eyes were hooked on the Caprese under the specialty sandwiches. Basil pesto aioli and balsamic vinaigrette in a sandwich?! I'm in! Ingredients were very fresh and I loved the mozzarella cheese in quarter inch slices. We also ordered a clam chowder, which was only $9. Unlike other sourdough bowls I've had which are so hard to the point that you can't bite through, this bowl was relatively soft with a slight crunch. It had lots of soup that was filling to share between two. A very clean environment with fast service and attentive staff who are super willing to help -- what more could you ask for? Come give it a try! I'll be back to get their chocolate chip cookies and other sandwiches.

Great, fresh sandwiches and friendly service are all things to look forward to at Sourdough & Co. It's located in Berkeley's Enclave student housing just off Telegraph Ave., a really convenient location if you're on the street looking for lunch! I ordered the 6. Pastrami Sandwich, which was so good. I love how the pastrami tastes. In the past, I've ordered the smoked brisket sandwich, which was just as good. If there's any room for improvement, I'd say it's in pricing. There are other spots nearby that offer sandwiches of the same size and quality for a little cheaper. Other than that, it's great! If you're looking for a new favorite sandwich spot, head over to Sourdough & Co.!

Their clam chowder is BUSSIN. They give you a slice of their sourdough with it too! The bowl size was a perfect portion for a light lunch. It was my first time here and I'm the biggest clam chowder fan so immediately my eyes were drawn to that. But of course I had to try their sourdough bread too. Luckily my order came with BOTH!! Their menu is full of super yummy sounding sandwiches which I'm sure are equally as bussin!! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and welcoming! I really hope this new spot does well!

Came for a dinner pickup to-go on a weekday evening. Things I love: - HUGE portions: all other considerations aside, I'd always default to splitting a meal or counting on leftovers. Their salads and sandwiches both are served in generous portions, which helps justify the cost, which itself is not that unreasonable to begin with. - Seating: nice areas inside, as well as an outdoor space that's shared with the neighboring bar. During the daytime when the bar is not open, the back space is a great area to spread out in, and even work in with a small group. - Staff: I read a few negative reviews about the staff here, but I have had nothing but positive experiences, especially given the high customizability of the meals here, they do a great job accommodating requests and making sure you have the meal that you're expecting. - Breakfast burritos: gotta shoutout my favorite breakfast burritos. These things literally sustained me all of junior year, and are a great value for what you're paying.

LOVED the thick side of sliced bread!! Lightly sweet and very earthy tasting. The menu isn't very intuitive--the "salad" menu sign doesn't show the protein options; the proteins are under the "sandwiches" sign. I admittedly stepped into the line underprepared, but the staff here could be so much kinder lol. Latte was alright. A tad too bitter for my taste. They have extensive indoor and patio seating. Great place to meet up with a friend or two and grab a quick/easy food.

When I want a hearty salad that's convenient from now on, I will daydream about MIXT. There are a variety of well-thought toppings, protein, and flavors with their set bowls but you can also build your own. I also like that they let you decide how light or heavy to dress your bowl. Service both times was quick and friendly. Their agua frescas were so refreshing! 5/5 for their fried cauliflower with green sriracha (which is more like a cilantro crema situation - so good!) I knock one star because as expected, these salads are not cheap. Granted, one salad bowl can be split into more if you're not a big eater. I supposed you're also paying for quality - everything was fresh! Ambiance was bright, clean, and quiet. I saw some students studying. When back in the area, MIXT is a reliable choice for me to get some tasty fiber.

Everything sounded good and looked good on the Uber Eats menu. Thought it would be worth a try. Really disappointed with the food taste, quality and presentation. I guess I should have known it was going to be like gas station food for the price. Fooled me once. Not coming back for seconds. All the food is prepacked in plastic. Instant NO for me if I would have known. On top of that, they heat the food inside the plastic. In 2026. In Berkeley CA. Unbelievable. How? My southwest scramble was heated most likely in a microwave and the plastic on the lid of the container is a bit melted. How appetizing. Whoever called this soggy piece of factory manufactured slop an English muffin please tell me how you imagined humans would find this appetizing. Every bite screamed "this is worse than mcdonalds." I can't wait to look this company up and see the bright minds behind these creations. Both are great, but I like Poke Bar more as I feel you get more protein and food for the price, super fresh fish (cut smaller than Wow, but feels like I am getting more, plus I have the option of asking for tofu as an option!). I love all of the add-ins (fried garlic goes great with fish and is so good without being too overpowering, far less overpowering than fried onions), the sauces are great, I like being able to have brown rice without being charged extra (ahem, Wow Lemonade ;) ), the seaweed salad is delicious and the food was so good that right after I took the first bite I made an audible sound and rolled my eyes it was so good. I had to be chill about it, but dang, Poke Bar rocks! I also like that it is a tiny bit more affordable, and you get more food for the price. So much food that I wasn't able to finish my medium-sized bowl. Only detractor is that I wish their krab was krab salad and not just krab. And I wish that as far as two sides go, that I could get two sides of krab and just mix in one of their sauces and some wasabi and make my own krab salad. Only negative about the place is that they don't offer bags with handles, just regular brown smaller grocery bags. So, if they stepped it up a notch and had branded bags I think that would help to promote their business more since they are located in a somewhat out-of-the-way spot. Definitely come and check this place out. Super fast service, okay seating, great, great, GREAT fresh fish, and such an umami flavor. Tip: get a mix of white and brown rice to make it a tad bit healthier and get some more fiber (if you don't want to go fully salad style and get greens. Or be wild and get all three options as the base!).

Though the exterior of…read morethe restaraunt is unassuming, and the building itself is quite small with limited seating, the interior is still very clean and neat, and the workers are very nice. I placed an online order for the C Chicken Momos and the Garlic Cheese Naan, which were both phenomenal. The naan was some of the best I've ever had. It was so fluffy, thick, and pillowy soft, and was not overly charred/thin or too crispy like other naan. Just pure doughy goodness. There was also a perfect amount of cheese filling--enough that you got the subtle kick of milky acidity, but not too overpowering. The naan itself was also not too greasy, and the garlic flavor was very aromatic. You could also taste a hint of the slight tartness from (I'm assuming) the yogurt used to make the naan. The "C" Chicken Momos came with eight large pieces, which is definitely enough to fill you up. The sauce tasted like a classic sweet-and-sour sauce with a very mild and pleasant spice. Also, because the dumplings were fried, they were crispy despite being covered in sauce, but still had a bit of the nice chew you would get from a steamed momo skin. The fillings themselves were also super flavorful: you get a herbal and fresh taste from the ginger, which balanced the tanginess of the sauce so the meal did not feel too heavy, and the subtle nuttiness and pepperiness of cumin in each bite. The dumplings also had some warm broth in them, which is perfect for a cold day. The prices are fair too. You can often find small discounts on Snackpass or delivery apps like GrubHub. Needless to say, I will definitely be coming back. Totally recommend!
