I wasn't happy, but then I started getting some beers in me and moved to a different open spot.I loved them all, great beers! I had their hazy and a few of their American IPAs. All on point! Great small menu, yummy pizza and folds, good beer, and busy environment. This establishment is also dog friendly. I also liked how there were dog treats available for your furry loved one. They just opened this location and boy was it busy on Father's Day! I love how their menu offers a pairing suggestion with your meal. We got a classic pepperoni pizza and a getting figgy with it fold. The fold is basically a pizza folded in half. I absolutely loved the gettin figgy with it but I ended up getting all the small crushed pieces of chips served to me. The fold had lots of cheese, chicken, and bacon, with that yummy sweet pear and fig, plus the arugula, were all a great compliment to each other. Sooo good. The Hawaiian POG kolsch didn't taste much like POG. I was hope for more of a tropical taste but it was still a nice a refreshing and crisp beer. I was just hoping for even a hint of guava but didn't get that. Halfway through our meal we saw a gentlemen come outside to every table. I believe it was the owner, because he was friendly and asked how everyone was doing and if they needed anything. He also bussed some tables, wiped some them down, and grabbed the dirty dishes from the bussed bin. I appreciate when business owners stop by to show their face, so if that was him, kudos to you! We enjoyed our time on the patio on a warm afternoon, though they need some tunes out here. We split a couple of pizzas, which are a little bit expensive at $18 ea., but tasty. This place was recommended by a co-worker, so we stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and while it was quite busy, we had no trouble getting a table on the patio. Cute ambiance & lots of space for our dog to lounge in the sun. We ordered 2 pretzels & 2 beers, which were ready in no time. To me, the pretzel was much better than your average brewery pretzel, and I could definitely taste the smoked gouda in the beer cheese. If you're looking to share the pretzel, I'd advise getting your own as they're not oversized. I appreciated that they were able to do half pours of beers as well. The only thing that might've improved our experience would be if there were a few umbrellas for the tables that were in direct sunlight. Our first time here. You have to order beer and food at the front counter. We ordered our beers first asking the gal to keep our tab open as we were still deciding on our food order; she was given a credit card info. We sat out on their patio enjoying our beers - Seas the Day IPA...very tasty! My partner went back to the front counter to order a pizza and salad. It was a different gal who was taking the food order and stated she couldn't give us a buzzer because we already had ordered food, which he stated we had not yet. She stated there must be another person by the same first name who had already ordered a pizza. Not sure what she did after looking at her computer, but was able to order our pizza and salad to go. When we went to pick up the food, we see that the salad was in a to-go container but the pizza was on a plate, which they fixed by putting in a pizza box. They gave us our food order and stated we were set to go. When we left, we realized we did not sign our tab. Couple of days later, we checked the charge on our credit card. They overcharged us by $10. After calling and speaking to the manager, we found out they added on their own tip! 20% tip for complete self service...WTF! The manager asked "you want me to credit the $10 tip that goes directly to the employees?" Sounded like she was shaming him. We don't mind tipping but not when it's done without your approval. I have been a server for over 6 years so know the restaurant business. There really was no service. They only pour your beers take your order and you have to pick up your own food. As we were out on the patio, we notice that other diners were bussing their own tables into a bin on the garbage can. This place is somewhat similar to Tapps in Mill Creek where you can order your beer at the front counter or you can sit at a table and a waiter will take your order. When you order food, there's actually table service. We both always tip generously with table service. We even tip 20% the majority of the time when being served drinks at a table and taking food to go. Overall: The beers were great! The Supreme pizza was great! Loved the crust! ($19) The Italian Wedding salad was great. Nice and fresh! ($17) Maybe they can order smaller pizza boxes to use? We both chuckled when we opened the box (see pic) Yes, the prices were a little high for a 10-inch pizza and the salad but we were okay with that as they both exceeded our expectations. We will return but make sure we sign the tab. And yes, will tip the beer pourer cash. This was our oversight and will make up for it when we return. read more

This is a pretty modem trendy taproom open to a nice outdoor patio. The cement floors and basic decor make it pretty loud inside and almost impossible to have a good conversation, let alone think, and hence I didn't stick around after my meal was done. I'm a fan of Best of Both Worlds food and the Cowboy Quesadilla did not disappoint. Lots of favor, fresh ingredients, and very filling. I really enjoyed it. I debated on the price being a bit expensive but the ingredients were quality and the serving was big so I find it acceptable. I'm not a beer drinker but do enjoy good ciders and was disappointed in only one selection and a fruit flavor I do not like. With 15 beers on tap I do wish they had a better selection of ciders, at least a traditional apple. I also understand the buzzers and QR code menus but am old fashioned and appreciate a menu and miss the personal service. I do not like having to get up and get my own food and then buss it myself after. A fountain drink machine for the non -drinkers and kids would be appreciated. I give the food 5 stars. Rough. Our first and last visit.... 1. You walk up to the counter and order and the lowest tip (before you are provided any service at all is 18%) the tips only go up from there. I love to tip good service but our tip culture has lost sight to some degree that tips should be tips for service provided not anticipated. 2. We had to ask if an available table could be cleaned, it had just been used. Every table was dirty. 3. Customers were having to clean their own tables right and left. 4. We picked up our own food which is fine but it took 40 minutes for a small cheese pizza, a cup of Mac n Cheese and a Caprese salad. 5. We then bussed our own table when we were finished, I paid $50 plus an almost ten dollar tip. We only met an employee when we ordered. I want to see all of our local restaurants do well but this place needs to try much harder. Hire some employees and serve food in a timely manner. Keep the tables clean. I hate to be negative but I hope that this review is more constructive in the long run. read more

My husband and I live in downtown Everett and are frequently eating out. We were looking forward to adding a new place to our rotation of available restaurants. We both enjoy great beer and great food to go along with that beer. Unfortunately, this location does not satisfy both of those. The beer is FANTASTIC. Some of the best on tap around but the food was honestly terrible. We ordered a pretzel with beer cheese and we each chose a pizza. We received all the food at the same time which was a strange start since the pretzel is listed as an app, which would traditionally come before the pizza but, OK. The pretzel was cold in the middle and clearly undercooked and pale. It did not have the salt on the top we are accustomed to seeing on a pretzel of this type either. I ordered the Margharita pizza and it was just OK. It was also undercooked with a floppy crust on the bottom, overloaded with sauce. My husband ordered the Hawaiian pizza with a request to add jalapeños. The cashier said that would not be a problem. The Hawaiian pizza did not have the requested jalapeños upon pickup. I mentioned this to the person at the window. He apologized and took the pizza back. He brought it out to our table a few minutes later with raw jalapeño on top. Raw, crunchy, uncooked jalapeño. There was also cheddar cheese or yellow cheese on this pizza which is not listed as a topping for this pizza on the menu. It was inedible. For beer we ordered the porter and the scotch ale, both excellent. When we finished our beers the manager was very accomodating and willing to remove the pretzel and the Hawaiian pizza from our bill. They were left uneaten, except for the small portions we tasted, on the table. We were so confused as to why the beer could be so delicious and the food so terrible. I looked at the Yelp reviews and that is when I saw a comment from the owner that the food is managed by another entity. Unfortunately, we do not go to places just to have a beer, we go for dinner and a beer so we will not be back unless filling a growler to take home. I am sad that this option is so terrible. There is Lombardi's, Scuttlebutt and Blue Water Distillery to compete with very close to this location. I think this will make it difficult, food wise. I do think the beer here is better than Scuttlebutt so if you are only going for beer, this is a good option. I do not recommend the food. I would give the beer 5 stars and the food 0 stars. read more

It's a Yes and no, I feel like they got some things to work on. The beers are great the staff is friendly but being a sit you're self down and then walk up and order your food and drinks is bit off. Like how can I find a table sit down then leave my table and go order hoping no one takes my table or do I order and then go I find a table and hope I find one? Maybe a kiosk at the table where you pay for things as you order would work. Not sure over all I was just a bit confused on how everything worked. They had a QR code menu which works but when I ordered off of the menu they didn't have the item in stock :/ again weird. As someone with a number of food allergies eating out is difficult and I don't do it often. I was very impressed with the number of options they had on their menu that could be gluten free and or dairy free. I ordered the "getting figgy with it" and it is delicious! The gluten free crust was a perfect combination of soft yet toasted and tastes incredible and the dairy free cheese was amazing. The whole dish was the best I've had eaten out in years. We found prices to be extremely high. The pretzel was as big as my palm and was $9 w a side of dip. Our pizza was $19 for 10 inch. Now mind you if the food was great, no problem, it was just ok. Not only do you have to order and tip prior, not sure why we would tip since we're afterall doing most of the service work other than cooking, we ordered at the bar, sat down, and when the buzzer went off, picked up our food. Utensils are all plastic and paper plates, and of course you are 'asked' to clear your table. I myself would not recommend. There is no service. It is not an upscale bar, but it has upscale prices. Too bad we won't be back. The only thing, it's a novelty, and the area is nice next to the marina and it is pet friendly in the patio area.
