At that meeting, we were told we needed to install flooring under the cabinets. After speaking with a contracting friend and two other companies, everyone said that was incorrect. This led me to doubt their professional knowledge and expertise. After the initial meeting, everything started going by the wayside. They missed appointments, were hard to get a hold of, and changed their story. We went from picking out materials to needing another appointment for the contractor to see the home. During the second appointment for measuring and seeing the home, they "measured" by measuring at an extreme angle. The contractor, in charge of demolishing our kitchen, demonstrated no knowledge in how to properly measure (it was NOT an area needing an angle to measure). That was concerning. They also didn't know the business hours of their own vendors. When we decided not to continue with FC Construction, they were honorable in giving us a refund. But when we called to remind them, the owner told us the refund was in the process. The next day, the main company line called and asked for our refund information to issue a refund. So it being "processing" was a lie. I didn't trust them to start any work, so I have no idea how their work is. But I wouldn't recommend based on the many red flags mentioned above. Kind people, though.

My mother contacted them to have her bathtub insert replaced with a walk in shower insert. Simple, right? We had some examples from Home Depot for $1500-$2500 (minus labor). The rebath sales rep came out and truly attempted to hard sell my 80 year old mother in spending 16k to replace her shower. Just. The. Shower. Thankfully I was there for the pitch and promptly kicked her out after she told me it couldn't be done for less, that I (who's remodeled many homes) didn't know what I was talking about and their " proprietary" material was so far superior to anything found elsewhere. Please. It's fiberglass. They might do decent work, but you can do soooo much more for the money and get a higher quality product. I'm having the shower redone with quartz slab for less than half the price. They're so close to a scam it's offensive. I feel bad for the elderly they prey on who don't have attentive adult children looking out for them.

They only had to come back 3 times to correct initial mistakes and now in 2026 our tile in front of the toilet is now soft and squishy. We stopped using the toilet over 6 weeks ago! Funny thing about franchises....there is now a RE-Bath in our region (Everett) so our warranty claims are going through our local office. It is shocking not only how shoddy the work was the first time, but the service is the worst I have experienced. Multiple promises of calls back, 2 literal house appointments missed, lies about waiting for materials and even tracking numbers that were not true. I have talked to 3 people at the Everett branch including the receptionist, the scheduler and all the way up the owner; my husband has talked with 2 more and we have gotten no where. It is truly the most unprofessional organization. This company does not stand behind their work, they obviously do not vet their franchise owners and I cannot warn you enough to use a different company. You will not be able to trust the work or the support for a very important room in the house.

At Shirey's suggestion, we used TimberTech Azek boards and found a MAXI version in Coastline grey. We're now done except for the custom railing on order, and couldn't be happier. Lead carpenter Bryan is a deck mastermind who was great at figuring out sound, good-looking solutions to our issues. Both he and fellow carpenter Jeromy were highly skilled and efficient, left the work site immaculate at the end of every day and were also just nice to have around. We like the results so much we added fascia and new board for our catwalks to the original agreement. Shirey's inside staff -- coordinator Ashley and bookkeeper Brenda -- are equally great, and especially good at timely, clear communication. We look forward to using Shirey Home Pro again and highly recommend them.

I hired this contractor for a bathroom remodel, and the overall workmanship was extremely poor…read moreacross plumbing, tile, and electrical. Multiple licensed professionals had to be brought in to correct basic mistakes that should never occur in competent work.The plumbing work was the most alarming. The new tub was installed with two P‑traps in series, which is a direct plumbing code violation and something no trained plumber would ever do. The P‑trap in the crawlspace was leaking. The water lines were left unsecured, causing loud water hammer throughout the house. Hammer arrestors were not installed. The shower valve had debris inside, causing whistling that still isn't fully resolved.A licensed plumbing company had to fix the leaking P‑trap, secure the water lines, install hammer arrestors, and clean the valve. The corrective work cost $3,143.56, fully documented. The tile work was also substandard. An independent tile expert inspected the installation and described it as lazy work that did not meet professional standards and required correction.Even the electrical work had issues -- I had to correct the switch installation myself because it was not done properly.Based on the findings of multiple licensed professionals, the workmanship across plumbing, tile, and electrical was unsafe, non‑code‑compliant, and far below professional quality. I cannot recommend this contractor for any remodeling or trade work.
