Spent 800 to make it drivable again, also found out my resonator is still under my car so he also scammed me on top of doing a bad job. Was told by multiple mechanics that the welds were the worst they ever seen, and that he put the exhaust flaps on backwards which was causing air to get backed up and my sensor to go bad.

I booked a consultation appointment for my problem to be diagnosed and I feel as if I was deceived…read more He barely looked at my car he came out with a flash light looking over the top of my vehicle and I HAD to ask if he could start the car to see my issue he did and we could see my very obvious leak and he told me it COULD be several different things. I advised him I needed certainty on what was wrong so that I can get my car back running. He said he would order parts and once they arrive he could replace those parts and whatever it's not he wouldn't charge me for it. He made promises about payment plans and that he would order the parts immediately and have the guy who works on jeeps to come out and perform the job. He reached out to me shortly after leaving and I never heard from him again. 2 weeks passed I reached out about a follow up to complete repairs and received no response via Yelp, Text or Call. I was lied to and he did not know what he was doing he didn't even prop the vehicle up on a jack to look under it he simply looked under it with a flash light for a few minutes and said he believed it to be a water pump issue. As a result I had to get my vehicle towed to an actual mechanic where it was properly diagnosed. Speaking of a diagnosis he ONLY used a basic hand held diagnostics machine which I already had my own to determine that it was a leak but he did no real labor. I would never recommend this person or his business. He basically took my money and ran. Incredibly unprofessional. Do NOT use this business for any reason whatsoever and do not let them anywhere near your car unless you want more problems.

I purchased a side-view mirror from this "operation" which was not as advertised and was missing a part needed it to mount it to the car. The technician charged me $75 to take off the old mirror; attempt to mount the A-1 mirror; and remount the original mirror. I made 5 phone calls and left several messages asking for a working replacement. One call was answered, but she hung up when I said my name. So I packaged and sent the defective part back to this contractor asking for a refund of $54. No response and it's been several months.

"One Of The Most Pleasant Experiences I Have Had With Any Business, At Any Time In My Life!"…read more I am not kidding, nor am I exaggerating: I wanted a tilt steering column for my trusty 2001 Ford Ranger. A Plus's point of contact is a gentleman named Kevin. I have been dealing with salvage yards since I am in my teens, and most salvage yards can't be bothered unless you're buying an engine or transmission from them. Not so with A Plus, and my interest in the tilt steering column that they had for sale. A Plus's price was fair; Kevin was very prompt in emailing me pictures of the steering column before purchasing; the steering column was accurately represented in the pictures Kevin emailed me, and the item was packed very well (I had it shipped to my home). Kevin was over-the-top in that he gave me helpful, detailed, instructions on how to install the part. The quality of Kevin's service speaks to a different era when businesses were fair, prompt, and actually cared about their customer's interests. I heartily recommend A Plus Auto Salvage.
