You can only order through apps like door dash or Uber eats or another app. When you get to the place, you have to check in. I almost missed that stepped. Thanks to the regulars that helped me. The parking outside can kinda be a mess. Just get in where you fit in. I'll be visiting again to try more items of their menu! Can't wait !

Honestly, I thought this place was out of business -- it's closed on Mondays, and I'm usually in the area on Mondays ;-) Note - this is take away only, but they do have a drive through. This was a food truck, which personally I'm not huge on since it doesn't seem very eco as it sounded like the truck or generator ran constantly. I did like that the food is served in a paper basket with a wax paper wrapper. The sandwich was very hot and melty so it was pretty good. I paid $11 so felt overpriced for what it was though. The tomato and pesto seemed well balanced while the bread was crispy. Overall not a bad sandwich. I should've packed properly, but when that's not an option this is a decent choice.

After a year and a half in Columbus, I finally got around to trying Mya's a few weeks ago. I'd…read moreheard great things about it, and as a lover of fried chicken, I was pretty excited to try it out. Thus far, I've tried the dark meat chicken, the sliders, the mac n cheese, and the smashed potatoes. All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the offerings. The crispiness of the skin is something to be marveled at and greatly appreciated. It's also pretty well seasoned (though I do wish that they were able to get the seasoning to penetrate under the skin a bit more thoroughly). I always appreciate a good biscuit, and the biscuits at Mya's are definitely some of my favorites. They compliment everything quite nicely. I can't speak to the honey vinegar drizzle personally, but my husband enjoyed having that on his sliders quite a bit as well. I will mention that there can be a bit of a wait here if it's busy, so you might want to dress warmly right now, since it's December. But I do think it's worth the wait.

Tiny, carryout only, though there are a couple of tables to sit while you wait or maybe to eat a quick lunch. Super friendly staff. Fairly short menu; all the good stuff. I wasn't famished and didn't want to wait for chicken or fish, so I got an assortment of sides thinking that would be quicker. They fried up the okra right then, though, and had a steady stream of pickup orders coming through the door, so it still took 10-15 minutes. It was okay, though, smelling the amazing scents coming from the kitchen, talking to the staff and customers. I hadn't noticed they have ribs (just a picture, not on the menu) so I might've ordered those. Oh well. $20 I think, or they do combos with sides or fish and sides. Anyway. I got fried okra, and it was a big portion and absolutely amazing. No need for any sauces, tasty on its own. Perfectly crisp. Baked beans: my style, sauce so thick you can eat them with a fork. Slightly sweet, mostly savory, very good. Greens (collards) with turkey: outstanding. Tender but not floppy, nicely seasoned. Cornbread: soft, sweet, crumbly, topped with butter. Yum. Geechee rice: seasoned, bacon and sausage, very good. And black-eyed pea salad. I like black-eyed peas but had never had them in a salad. These were great: plump, with bits of tomato and cucumber and onion, in a vinegary dressing. Again, yum. Enough food for two meals. They gave me the side plate special, three sides and cornbread, which helped with the price. I was headed home and not thirsty so I didn't get a drink, but based on conversations with other customers I missed out on the lemonade and sweet tea. I'll be back for those and maybe a rib-fish combo. And to try the mac. Get here if you can!

I remember it clearly as I was a newbie to Central Ohio and they sold Cheerwine* in bottles. From there, I've caught them at a handful of small festivals, at Platform, and at Pins Mechanical when they parked there for a while. I've had the por'ketta sandwich, the potato salad, and the pork sundae. I could have reviewed these guys quite a while ago but I guess I was waiting for a certain dish to push me over the 'review this now' ledge. Well, I had that dish this weekend at Platform. (Where these guys are parked on Saturdays.) I had the breakfast sandwich. The bread, same that is used for the other sandwiches, was beautiful. On the sandwich were roasted red peppers, that had been peeled! I really dislike fire roasted things that haven't been peeled (i.e. tomatoes, peppers) so when I saw that the ones on the sandwich were peeled I was stoked! It shouldn't be a secret, I freakin' LOVE mayo and mayo based things (Duke's mayo forever). But, MAN the aioli used on this sandwich was on point. The thyme in it took it over the top! The bacon was great and complimented the other ingredients well. The only thing I wasn't too keen on, at first, were the scrambled eggs on the sandwich. It looked (and smelled) a bit overcooked on one side of the sandwich. However, after a few bites into the sandwich, my dislike of the scrambled eggs changed when I realized that they had crisped the cheese to the bottom side of the eggs. I love crispy, toasted cheese! With the sandwich came a side of griddled potatoes. These guys are likely the same potatoes that get crafted into potato salad. There's a vinegar backing that reminded me of the potato salad. They complimented the sandwich oh so we'll. The gentleman that was working even brought out our dog some chicken! Our dog loved it of course and wants to already know when we can go back for brunch at Platform. Por'ketta serves the breakfasty side of their menu till 2 when they switch to lunch. As a note I had my wife order the sandwich as it comes; these guys would surely honor egg style requests. Next time I get the breakfast sandwich, I will ask for an egg with a soft yoke- as that would have made this sandwich untouchable by any other food truck (and likely restaurant) breakfast sandwich. ----- *Cheerwine is a North Carolina based cherry soda.
