Eight and a half years. That's how long our 1959 Impala sat in the shop. For eight and a half years we waited, trusted the process, and paid the bills. In the end, the total came to about $52,000. We believed we were finally getting back a beautifully restored car -- something we could drive, enjoy, and be proud of after such a long wait. We got her back on March 1, 2025. But the excitement didn't last long. By April, the car was already leaking fluids. On June 16, something far worse happened -- the driver-side door latch failed while I was beginning to make a right turn, and the door suddenly flew open. It was frightening and dangerous. Then on July 1, the headliner fell down. From there, things only continued to go downhill. After nearly nine years in the shop and $52,000 spent, the car now has only about 50 miles on it -- and it is not even driveable. What should have been a dream restoration turned into something incredibly sad and disappointing. I would not recommend working with Sandra. I brought my boat to her in February to have all the seats reupholstered and new flooring installed. I was told it would be ready in 4 weeks, but I didn't get the boat back until mid-July -- five months later. Throughout the process, Sandra broke promise after promise and excuse after excuse, repeatedly missing her own timeframes. Beyond the delay, there were major issues with communication, professionalism, and quality control: She was hard to reach, rarely responded in a timely manner, and often blamed others instead of taking responsibility. She did extra work that I never asked for -- and charged me for it. She refused to complete the flooring and upholstery at the same time, which dragged things out even more. At one point, I had to lay out a cushion template myself because she couldn't figure out how to reconstruct it. The flooring had to be redone because of visible inconsistencies. She even asked for payment before the job was finished, and as of today, I'm still waiting for the incomplete items to be addressed. And a missing item in the boat. When I brought up my concerns, I was told she didn't like my attitude -- all because I was simply asking her to follow through on her commitments. She told me she was too busy and had too much work -- as if that justified the lack of communication and delays. she also never finished one of the seat cushions because she said "i ran out of material so i did not charge you for it" i want it completed and she won't do it. Bottom line: The work came out decent in the end, but the stress, lack of accountability, and poor customer service made the experience frustrating and disappointing. It felt like it was all about the money, not about integrity, the customer or delivering what was promised. My advice if you choose to work with her: Get everything in writing. Have her sign a detailed schedule and include penalties for missed deadlines or incomplete work. Otherwise, you may find yourself in the same situation I did. read more

Dropped off the car and it was starting to drizzle, Sandra noticed I was nervous (no top on the car at this time) and shortly after I left she sent me a picture of the car already inside. She had no obligation to do that, there was no agreement for this extra effort but she went the extra mile. Over the course of the installation she would sent me updates and kept me informed the entire way. Sandra or one of her staff were available to talk to me and kept me informed of the progress. Think about that, this is a huge shop that does everything from couches, to boats to cars and everything in between! Pro tip, they even do full restorations, saw a couple of their show winning cars and was blown away! In a nutshell, this spot can do anything you need and is truly a one stop shop! Next up is carpet and interior for my car and I will update this at that time with new photos. Shop has easy access and super easy to find. Googled and yelped around for a good top installer for my '99 BMW Z3, I pretty much knew what I wanted but I had upgrade fever - Sandra happily gave me all the options I requested - contacted the top vendors looked at a few non standard options and then after all that I went with her suggestions. So the prior reviews about Sandra and her place being unkempt are true. The places is disorderly and she has turned her place into a junk car lot. She is very much ALL ABOUT THE MONEY......I dont blame her for that. But she is temperamental and a bit vindictive from what I can tell. There work can best be classified as mediocre at best......She really has one guy "Pepe" working for her and he usually seems like he has had it there. BE CAREFUL.....she tries not to give you written estimates for your work. DEMAND ONE BEFORE SHE STARTS ! She will try to take you to the cleaner otherwise. She has no problem sueing people when she feels she has been wronged. But when she screws up tries to shuttle blame off on others......she even has said that its my fault she lost an arm rest cover because I left it at her shop too long........get it ? They constantly updated me on the progress. They received a faulty product and recognized the cables were the wrong gauge. Great customer service!I I was working with Oscar for my '11 Mustang which got hit by the driver side door and the rear wheel well. Beadury's quoted the repairs at 1800 SOS did it for 900 and it looked perfect. With my conflicting schedule Oscar gladly stayed after his business hours so I could pick my car up. In addition to the great customer service, SOS finished the job quickly without sacrificing quality in work. A few days later I came back with a Stillen chin spoiler to be painted and installed. SOS did an Amazing job on my Vintage Gucci case. When I received it, it was awful, stains, dirty, falling apart due to the age of the case. 1940's. So I brought it by to see if SOS could help restore the interior of the Gucci case and Sandra did an fantastic job. This was a very difficult task as I wanted to keep all the original leather pieces and use only Gucci material for all the restorations. I needed to try and keep the value and the integrity of the original Gucci Case as much as possible. I'm super happy with the final results. Redid front bucket seats and rear seat on my 2005 Titan king cab in grey vinyl i picked. Showed them Brochure with photos of new titan seats and asked for same look in my titan including double stitching. Result is simply outstanding couldn't ask for any better down to smallest details including headrests and arm rests, looks like seats came from the factory. Expensive but you get what you pay for and can only say if you want a professional result these guys are the best. read more

What can I say about this facility? They are the best! I have had interior done for 3 of my high end cars, and pain in one of my porsche 911 cars with impeccable results. The 911 was painted in a very difficult matte white. I also had a full leather interior in my other concourse cars. The sewing repair that was done here was well done. The finishing work was not done. I had to remove hundreds of loose threads. I made the mistake of not checking the reviews before choosing this business. The reviews claiming that they want to solve everything by legal action are very true. Run, don't walk from this business. This is one of those businesses that make you wonder how they even exist. I tried every avenue to contact and solve the issue and the only reply from them was that they were going to sue.... Heck Sandra accidently dialed my phone. I waited and listened, waiting for her to notice. After 10 minutes she noticed and hung up. I immediately called back and she would not answer. They have a customer trying to give them money and they would rather go to court. I ended up solving the issue without any replies or contact from them after I learned of the issue. You don't need headaches like this, there are many other great sewing and upholstery business that are customer oriented. read more

I had a really worn leather steering wheel re-wrapped and a hard plastic armrest padded and covered in matching leather. The finished product was fantastic and made the car feel brand new inside. Their workmanship was remarkable. This shop came highly recommended to me from someone that had their boat re-upholstered here. While the building and location lacks the glitz and glamour of other high-end upholstery shops, the quality is as good or better and it definitely helps to get reasonable prices for excellent work. The family ownership were helpful and personable at every turn. It's refreshing to have a personal touch on your car projects. I plan to have them handle my paint and body projects coming up as well. Very dissapointed with this place! They promised to reupholster our antique item and fix the woodwork. The upholstery was very shoddy and low standard! They didn't fix any of the wood and when we complained they varnished it to make it look better. Then they charged $150 more than the estimate! Where to start. I had a job for my camper that they said that they could do and they assured me that would be done as asked. First off, they tore the part that wasn't damaged and blamed it on already being torn. Second they used cheap fabric when I asked/paid for sunbrella. They sewed the fabric in a way that I could have done better myself if my sewing machine were heavier duty and it was not as I asked and as such is not waterproof now. Lastly probably an honest mistake but their first quote was considerably less than other locations and right before work was to start they said that they were $150 off and that they subtracted the price of fabric instead of adding it making it slightly over the other quotes. In the end the job got done and it's not the fanciest piece in the world but still.... Will not be going back and recommending to others due to failures at every level. read more
