I called Ken at All County Septic Service to do an inspection and pump for a house in Monroe before selling it. Pro - Ken was able to come out the same day. Con - Everything else. My first impression was that Ken was a bit cocky. I also heard him talking down to his employee. Later Ken told me "This guy has been working for me for 2 years and still doesn't know English." If this guy has been working for you for 2 years and you haven't done something to help him with his English, it's not shame on him, it's shame on you Ken! Ken came out and took a look at my system. In my drainfield I have 8 observation ports at the end of my lateral lines. These weren't exposed and brought up to the surface and Ken quoted me $1250 to locate those. I decided I was there and I have a shovel and with a little bit of Ken's direction I found 4 out of the 8 locations. With his help, and me digging with his guy, we found the last 4 ports. When it came time to pay the bill, Ken still insisted I pay the $1250 to locate all those ports. I told him that I found 4 of them myself, and 4 more with his help. So I did 6/8 of the work. He still wanted to charge me the full price. He told me that he said that he's charging me the $1250 whether he locates them or I do. First of all, he never said that. Second of all, that's unethical. What a jerk. After going back and forth on whats fair, we settled on half that price even though I did more than half the work. And he acted pissed off about it. Ken also said I needed extensive repairs on my system: New 1/2 horsepower pump and float and all the wiring and connections $2950 Jet the laterals to clean blockages $1250 Risers to bring the ports to ground level surface $1250 I tried to negotiate on the price a bit and he said forget it, he doesn't negotiate and now he's not interested in doing the work for me. I paid him for the work he had done and he left. I called a different licensed bonded and insured septic company and they came out a few days later - Greenworks of Washington. Over the phone they quoted me a price of a new pump at a little under $1000. About 1/3 the price of what Ken at All City quoted! When the technician came out, they told me my pump was running fine and I didn't need a new pump! They jetted out all the blockages for $365 instead of the $1250 All City wanted to charge me. They installed risers to all my ports for $35 each, which totaled $280 instead of the $1250 All City wanted to charge me. In total, they saved me more than $4000 from what Ken at All City was charging. Summary - Use Greenworks of Washington. Don't call Ken at All County Septic Service.

Fresh N Clean Septic accomplished what I had thought would be the impossible: installing a…read morereplacement septic system with a drainfield on top of the old one on a property where there was next to no space to work in, with access problems, tight passageways, numerous obstructions, a creek, tree stumps and old concrete that needed to be broken up and hauled off, overwhelming amounts of groundwater, and huge old cedar trees and mature landscaping which I was bound and determined to suffer the least possible disturbance. This was the ultimate test of "thinking outside the box," and Kiril and his crew came through with flying colors, using highly imaginative work methods, at a cost that was below both the other bids I received. And both those other contractors insisted that alterations were going to have to be made to my property which I was not willing to accept. Kiril proved them wrong. He also has specialized equipment that allows him to perform work of this nature that the other contractors apparently do not have. Now that the project is finished, I am blown away by the degree of respect that Kiril and his crew showed for my vegetation, walkway and outbuilding, with the result that my property emerged practically unscathed, except of course for the surface restoration work I'll have to do. Kiril is a highly intelligent, friendly individual with two engineering degrees - in the words of the system designer, "too smart to be doing what he is doing," but he does it because he genuinely enjoys helping people. All you need to do is look at his website - which many other septic installers do not even have - to see that this is a guy who knows what he is doing. Born and educated in Bulgaria, he nonetheless speaks superb English and coordinates all the elements of the project like clockwork. The two employees of his who did most of the installation work are from Europe, and they worked hard and performed excellent, European style craftsmanship. There was no standing around staring at smartphones with these people. I felt as if I had contracted for a mundane utility system and ended up with a Swiss watch. Also, they handled the electrical aspect of the work, so I didn't have to deal with a separate electrical contractor. I would have preferred to be kept a little better apprised of the status of the work, particularly inasmuch as the project dragged on quite a bit longer than expected due to various unforeseen circumstances. But this was not enough of a demerit to warrant deducting a star. Even if it had been, the quality of the work was six stars, so subtracting one star would still have yielded a net five stars. The one thing to remember with Kiril is that texting is the way to communicate remotely. Don't bother with email. But when you are dealing with him in person and on site, he is the nicest guy to work with. He wants to make sure everything is installed exactly the way you want it and you are happy with his work. So if you want a first class installation at a reasonable cost and you like a civilized, old world style of doing business, you should definitely put Fresh N Clean Septic at the top of your list of contractors to solicit bids from. At a minimum, you'll get a superbly prepared, detailed bid - far more professional than the other bids I received. And Kiril was the fastest to get me a bid and show up for a site inspection of any of the contractors I contacted. Highly recommended! I totally dreaded having to replace my septic system, and I usually dread dealing with contractors, but this one is a glowing exception.

I documented that and I will be taking them to small claims court and sue for triple the damages for their pump out! I will file up to three separate claims for the fraudulent pump out. I've never lost a case and they think they are protected from violating the 4th and 5th Amendments. I assure you that they are not! Be very careful with this company.
