I honestly wish I could give 10 stars! I bought a house in Maltby about 4 weeks ago and of course…read moreon Christmas Eve everything that could go wrong started to. The crawl space flooded with 2 feet of water, ruining the water heater and damaging the furnace. I spent $2k getting a new water heater installed and am very worried about flooding occurring again. Less than 2 hours after the water heater company left, an alarm in the garage started sounding. Turns out this is a septic pump alarm that was signaling there was soon to be a backup. I called 10 companies and no one could come out until after Christmas - something I understand but also could not accept because I just paid for a brand new water heater. I headed home to try and figure this out by myself with the as-built info from county records... what a nightmare. I spent about an hour digging where the plans showed my tank but found nothing. I gave up and started to call people again to see if anyone could be bribed to come out on Christmas Eve. I called Ken and he answered right away. I asked if there was any chance he could come out right now and he said he was actually on vacation and out on a beach enjoying the sun. I started to apologize and hang-up, but he stopped me and said he could probably at least help on the phone. Ken spent time dealing with me on the phone and via text message for the next 2 hours giving me awesome directions and explanations about everything I needed to do. Not only did Ken essentially teach me the basics about my septic system remotely, he saved me a ton of money because after it was all said and done, my pump alarm was no longer sounding and I was able to confirm it was functioning properly. Ken did all of this for free, while on a family vacation! I honestly have not been more impressed with a company trying to go the extra mile in a very long time. I am 100% committed to referring Ken and using him for my future septic needs.

Our system had always functioned well, and we'd had AWESCO pump the tank every 2-3 years. This time, a few updates were needed to bring it up to current code: a new pump, new seals and lids for the risers, and a replacement distribution box. Two technicians spent over four hours completing the work, and they were outstanding--thorough, professional, and patient in answering all my questions as well as those of the prospective buyer who also observed the process. When I needed documentation for the sale, Colton in the office was equally helpful. He quickly provided the digital paperwork needed to finalize the septic contingency, which kept the closing process on track. I've used AWESCO for years and have always been impressed with their service. This experience reinforced my confidence in them. I wholeheartedly recommend AWESCO for septic service and maintenance.

Most people, like me, wouldn't know if the price A Wesco charged was appropriate or not. I signed the work order for nearly $6,000.00. When the two guys showed up to do the work, it took less than 3 hours, with one guy sitting in the truck for a half hour, to complete the whole job. There was no way the materials cost more than $500.00. I called to get a reduction in the price because I was certainly taken for a ride. I was told; you signed the contract. Yep, I did. I don't want the next guy to get taken like I did. There are reputable septic companies out there, but this is NOT one of them. No wonder they get crappy reviews, they earned them. And did I mention that they left the mess for me to clean, and the job looks like Helen Keller did the work? No offense to blind people. Sorry.
