They even have Vietnamese coffee drinks with alcohol, which was such a fun and unexpected twist. My third review for Sorry Not Sorry in the span of 5 years during different eras, and now coming back to share about my experience booking a private event for 150 guests for a cocktail style reception to celebrate our marriage! From the very beginning, the team was incredibly helpful, patient, kind, and communicative. Once I submitted an event inquiry, they responded quickly and kindly. Our event exceeded anything we could have imagined, and we truly couldn't picture celebrating our milestone anywhere else. Last night just reinforced why we've always loved SNS so much! I've been here for drinks and light snacks, and they have a spacious outdoor back patio (small front patio) and with trendy design indoors. Yesterday, it was not only empty but the food options changed for the worse and there's no longer waiter service? It used to be table seating with a hostess and a waitress. Sorry Not Sorry is not just their name, it's their approach to customer service. I paid $75 per person for a private event, only to show up and find they had triple booked their venue and were therefore sorely understaffed. From the moment I walked in and had a cheap wristband carelessly tossed around my wrist to the TWO HOURS I waited for a drink, I could not be more disenchanted. The only bright spot was the tacos and the garlic fries were actually tasty. The cocktail, however, was not only not worth the wait, it wasn't even What I ordered. It's a shame because I really think the venue in the back could have been a really cute place to host an event if it weren't for the overpromised and underdelivered service. I wish I could say this was my first less-than-satisfied experience at SNS, but it was the third and final chance. My friends took me here for my birthday last year where we found out that the restrooms were out of service and were mislead to try the bathrooms next door--where we were promptly turned away. We eventually made our way to the Rosegold Saloon across the street in desperate search of a commode. That's where we finally got some decent service. So I really think that if you've read this review to this point, maybe just start there. read more

I was in the area and always been curious about the place so I popped in. The street parking is quite vicious, there is another restaurant next door and they offer valet but the street is too busy to notice it. I parked around the corner and got in the bar. As I walked in, it felt like I was visiting a strangers get together. It looked like a small speakeasy bar. The staff smiled but it was polite , not approachable. It looked like they just had a Christmas party and everyone was still in their personal fun mood. Not much chatting at the bar with me, the customer, but amongst the staff itself. I ordered a drink, the bartender made it and walked away. I noticed most of the staff were eating in the kitchen away from the main area and talking. Maybe they were still riled up from their Christmas party. One staff with glasses, sat next to me with his plate of food. No conversation, just two people next to each other. I ordered the "garlic" fries but there was barely any garlic. Not the greatest first encounter and I thought the drink, ginger all the way, was OK. giving this spot 5+ stars because they have always been soooo accommodating to big groups. you are able to reserve a semi-private space for 30+ guests, you can foot the bill yourself, get drink tickets, or have everyone pay their own bill. Went for an early happy drink on a Saturday night. Place was already hopping. Friendly service, nice bar. But the happy hour drink menu was sorely limited - we were told we had a choice of, I think, 2 wines, beer or a shot of whiskey. Not even a red wine - although the bartender let me have one for the hh price. We were not offered discounted mixed drinks that I just read about here. I've hosted two 100-ish person events at Sorry Not Sorry's amazing back patio, and both have stunning successes. We really appreciate Sorry Not Sorry's communication and flexibility. Rowena, our point-of-contact was particularly responsive and gracious and offered us multiple different types of catering options. We opted to go with a cash bar, so we were able to reserve the space without a hefty deposit. Sorry Not Sorry's back patio is spacious enough to hold multiple large parties, so even though we were not the only event, we had plenty of room. We also enjoyed the ability to use a projector to cast images onto the wall. If you're thinking of hosting an event, you can't go wrong using Sorry Not Sorry. read more

Rented out the inside bar for my 30th birthday and it was such a great time! Free to rent AND they let my guests (about 20-30) all do separate tabs. I got a strawberry matcha gin cocktail and my friends for the fish sauce margarita - both were great and we had never had anything like that before. Their menu seems to switch out frequently as both were not written on the menu itself and some of the cocktails we asked for that were in the menu were not actually available. Came here with a group for an event. We ordered wings, fries, chips and salsa, quesadillas, and a grilled cheese. I didn't try the chips and salsa. The quesadillas are ok, I wouldn't get them again. The wings are an interesting flavor, but they are surprisingly very good. Really enjoyed the fries. With that, the best thing I ate was the grilled cheese. I would come back here just for grilled cheese. This is the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had at a restaurant, hands down. The service is pretty good, but a bit slow maybe since there were a few groups. Not sure why people are complaining about friendliness of the staff, they were all very nice to us. We sat at the bar when we first got there and sat at a table when we came back later in the night. Customer service was great. Food combos also great--our bartender told us that it was only $2 to add food (we ordered an espresso martini which was $17 each) so ended up adding grilled cheese for $19. It was tasty and portions are a great size (we were originally going to share). Was told the chicken tacos are also tasty so maybe will try that next time. Loved it here and would come back. Only con I can think of right now is parking which is common in this area... we couldn't find street parking at that time so paid for valet ($40 for general and $100 for VIP - not sure what this includes). I came here for a networking mixer event and it was a vibe. The staff were friendly and prompt and I enjoyed their draft beer section. People often complain that drinks are so expensive when you go out but I think the prices for a bar on the westside are fair. I started with the baby bok choi salad which was very bright and citrusy. The real star of the apps, however, was the kimchi quesadilla that my friend got. It was unbelievable and I would absolutely go back just for that. For my entree, I had the burger which was so delicious. The blue cheese on the burger isn't something I would normally go for but the balance was beautiful and I definitely ate it faster than I should. I finished the night with the tropical crepe cake which was so light and not too sweet. Most of the seating is outdoor in the back in the picnic-style tables, which was great for our party. Brandon, the general manager, came by to check in on us several times, which I appreciated. This is my second visit to sorry not sorry the first time I went and it was drag queen bingo night and it was absolutely hysterical. Amazing handcrafted cocktails made with love... You can taste it in the cocktails! Great DJ spinning great tunes delicious food and cocktails. You cannot ask for Moore in a bar and little did I know there is a huge outdoor space behind the bar. You can host 150 people there easily. The owners in general managers are amazing humans kind caring interested in how people are enjoying themselves. I'm absolutely delighted by my decision to celebrate my birthday at this wonderful local restaurant last night! A few days ago, my husband and I came across a stand-up comedy show on Eventbrite, and since we needed a respite from all the oppressive misery going on in L.A. at the moment, we made reservations for dinner at the venue, Sorry Not Sorry. The moment we walked into the lovely backyard patio area, the beautiful, amazing Carlee was there to greet us. She seated us at the best table from which to watch the comedy show and treated us like absolute royalty the entire night! We ordered the burger, the banh mi sandwich, the garlic fries, and for cocktails: the Spicy Fish Sauce Margarita and the Early Morning Spin Class. All items were very tasty, but we would've ordered more cocktails if they were a bit more reasonably priced. The comedy show, called "Permission Slip," was a lot of fun, and we'll definitely return if they perform there again! This is a great bar for a chill drink/bite or for big groups. I hosted my birthday party here and was able to reserve a section of the indoor bar for a group of 20 with no extra fee. My guests were able to order food or drinks at the bar and there's was plenty of space to sit or stand and move around. The music was at the perfect volume to be able to have a conversation. There's also a huge outdoor patio, with heaters in the winter. The staff was easy to work with and everything was very seamless! The drinks are average prices and quite strong but very tasty. There's a lot of food available too, including vegan and vegetarian options. The fries were my favorite item but the jackfruit tacos were great too and the portions were fairly large.
