I had a fantastic experience at Bluebonnet Bridal! I tried shops large and small (and in various cities) for my wedding gown, and Bluebonnet ended up having my top pick. They carry an array of designers and very popular styles of dresses; I was also able to find my veil here. They were very helpful when I was looking for my dress and listened to all of my preferences. Great customer service and a beautiful gown selection. Oh my goodness!! The best customer service and a wonderful selection of wedding gowns!! This was the second place I visited while searching for my dress; I honestly had no idea what I was going for, but they had such a great variety of dresses from mermaid, to ballgown, to a-line, and more! Most of the dresses are above 1,000, but they do have some sample dresses that are cheaper and available to take home on the same day. I ended up finding the PERFECT dress in the sample area, which was amazing because my wedding is in less than 6 months so I was a little worried about having one come in on time for alterations. Tori was my stylist and she was so sweet and helpful. Because of COVID, the stylists are not allowed inside the room with you to help get on the dress, but they are allowed to zip/button you up! I had such a great experience here, along with my family! My 17 year old sister said she will be coming back here when she gets married (haha) and already started eyeing some of their dresses! It may be an unsuspecting little boutique in Keller, but I can guarantee that you will find your dream dress! read more

I said YES!!! To a beautiful dress here today!! My experience here was great! My stylist was so patient with me and my group of girls. A few of them were running late and they gave us time to wait for them before getting started. I can't remember my stylist's name, but she was a cute young blonde; She gave me and my girls a tour of the shop and even said we could help pick out gowns as well! She picked a few by what I told her I wanted and didn't want and my matron of honor and I got to pick out a couple too! It was great being able to be apart of the "dress selecting" portion. She then helped me in and out of each gown and didn't rush me at all. She let me choose which dress I wanted to put on first and even let me take my time admiring each dress before coming out to show my group of girls. I got to try on different veils and she answered any and all questions we had for her. I ended up falling in love with 2 dresses so I tried them back on, all the while my stylist was right there to help. She even reassured me that I'd be able to try each one on as many times as I needed/wanted to if that would help me decide! That was so sweet of her!! I didn't think I'd find my perfect wedding gown so fast, but I did!! I'm so glad I set an appointment up here!! They made my wedding dress shopping experience an incredible one and I left feeling so relieved, excited and happy. Not once did I feel pressured to buy a dress today; that made me feel even better getting my dress from here. I got it because I truly loved it and not because I was feeling pressured to. I purchased my wedding dress & veil from Sophia's Gowns in January 2017 -- & had a great experience during the initial visit. The staff was incredibly helpful & patient while I tried on many different dresses to finally find "the one". A few months later, my mother visited the shop to pick-up the dress & veil. She signed & paid for both items, drove home & opened up the dress bag to find the veil was not in her possession. Upon realizing the veil was not in the dress bag, I called the store to figure out what happened. The employee I talked to (I don't recall her name, unfortunately) displayed a lack of empathy towards the situation and was dismissive to search for the veil in the shop (although ultimately did when pressed). She repeatedly stated "your mom signed for both these items, & three people in the store, including myself & the manager, saw her do this" in a somewhat accusatory tone. The lost veil is unfortunate, but I understand mistakes happen. I feel compelled to share this experience through Yelp because finding a wedding dress (& everything that comes with) should be a joyous occasion. My phone interaction with this specific employee (& the interactions I've had since) have taken away from the joy I initially experienced at Sophia's Gowns in finding my dress & veil for the big day. I recently walked in to this bridal store to look around for a wedding dress for myself. Although an appointment is usually preferred, it was not peak wedding season so as a walk-in I was immediately greeted by a couple of young ladies. They were extremely courteous and welcoming. After explaining that I did not have an appointment, they advised that someone could still help me. I explained what I was looking for: dress style, length, color and PRICE. One of the girls showed me the layout of the store and the different options while another brought me two dresses to look at. I picked one of the dresses to try on. The girls brought in a few others based on my first choice. After trying on a number of gorgeous dresses (ALL within my price range) I decided to go with the very first one that was suggested to me. All of the dresses brought to me were within my price range which I truly appreciated because it didn't make it hard on me to stick to my budget. The price of the dress I picked was within my price range, the cut and length were exactly what I asked for...and it was the first dress the associate brought out to me which tells me that the staff was attentive to my needs (dress requirements) and they know their inventory, which allows them to make great recommendations! Beyond being extremely professional and courteous they made suggestions on how to go about receiving the dress on time since the wedding is in a few months. This was my first experience in a bridal shop as a bride and I could not have asked for a better one. The girls and owner of the shop were very nice and helpful. They worked with each other to find dresses, all of which were great suggestions! They made my dress buying experience flawless and I truly appreciate them taking the time to help me. Kellie & Jenna were the FREAKING BOMB. I'm loving everything about planning our wedding but have loathed every second of wedding dress shopping (if I had one more person talk to me in a phony tone of voice in a ridiculously high octave, I was going to stick a rusty fork in my eye). I walked into their store and said something to the effect of, "I am getting married in June. While this is an exciting time in my life, I can't tell one more stranger about how I met my fiancé, how he proposed, how long we've been dating, etc. I JUST need to find a dress that I like on me." I was MEGA grouchy, haha. They were the perfect amount of helpful and were super patient with me. They were flexible with me (I had to bring my mom and BFF at separate times and made 4 trips before I bought THE dress). The customer service was top notch and genuine. I am a bridesmaid and we spent last Saturday dress shopping. Our first stop was Sophia's gowns. It was the worst experience ever! First, when we arrived, we were told to throw our drinks away, ( that would have been okay, but there were many other people who were not told to throw their drinks away). We had an older woman walk us through the boutique and had us put our purses down. She told us to look through the store and pull our own dresses off the rack, in bridal dress shopping, this is a BIG NO NO. A bride should not be pulling her own gowns. When we picked some, the lady helping did not know what she was doing. She did not tell our bride to take off her strapped black bra and pinned the dress terribly to her. The lady proceeded to tell our bride that the dress looked bad because she was a larger girl and the dresses don't fit as well. Our bride left in tears and the disorganized and poor quality service of this store was terrible. WORST EXPERIENCE DRESS SHOPPING EVER! We had so much more luck at David's Bridal in Hurst where they pull the dresses because they work there and know what sizes to pull! We had to go back because our bride left her glasses behind, when we said something about the accusations about weight, there was a small, "sorry you feel that way". The older woman who helped us needs to be fired! Beware of this place and people who run it! read more

Before I came to the store, I made an appointment and filled out a very detailed survey per the request of the store. I was comforted knowing the store had all my information prior to my arrival: styles I was interested in, my size, and my budget. Fast forward to D-day (dress day), I was kindly greeted by an associate and was told to look around. Once my bridal party arrived the associate educated us about the store and then we were left on our own. The associates didn't even use the survey I filled out to have dresses ready for me to look at. After trying on a few dresses and getting nowhere, my mother had to practically beg for the attendant to help me. Two associates came back with dresses that were way too small and the exact opposite of what I was looking for. Very disappointed that they were so unhelpful. Overall, this store is friendly, I could tell they mean well. They have very lovely, fashionable, high quality dresses. But make no mistake, unless you find last years style, you will pay boutique prices. Unfortunately for me, Sophia's Gowns dropped the ball. My first time looking for wedding dresses was not very enjoyable and I wish I had gone someplace else that was a bit more attentive and willing to make a sale. Oh and I made it a point to tell them about our destination wedding however, they insisted I couldn't leave without their goodie bag...filled with local vendors. That was pretty much useless for a wedding that's happening a thousand miles away. read more

My daughter was measured and ordered a dress for an upcoming wedding. The dress was very tight. They set up an appointment for alterations. They dress was supposed to be let out in the bodice. When my daughter went to pick it up and tried it on, the dress now will not even zip up. We are waiting to hear back abnd hopefully get the situation resolved. They listened to me and in four dresses I had the PERFECT DRESS. They are absolutely the best! And through the fitting and picking up the dress, they gave the same high level of service. I went to Sophia's to get my mother of the bride dress, and I was pleased by the service when I choose my dress. That's the extent of the positive part of this review. She told me that officially it would take 6 weeks to get the dress but they usually came in much sooner than that. Ok fine, paid my bill in full. Eight to nine weeks later I called because I had not recieved a call. THey did check on it. "It will be in next week" ok. This went on for about 3 weeks. Fortunately I had ordered way ahead of time because I new it would have to be fitted. I went in to try the dress on and asked for alterations. They did not apologize for the run around I got and the store owner was there and was sure that she was aware of the situation. I went back to get the dress altered, because that was easier for me. The alterations person poked herself and bled on the dress, no apology. Then they wanted $40 to adjust the shoulders of a sleeveless dress. I couldn't take it anymore, I left, got my alterations elsewhere for $20. They handled the entire matter very poorly and I will never go back. Think twice before you shop there!!! read more
