3.5 Stars....The good and the bad…read more I'll start with the good. I recently purchased a new truck from Legacy Ford, and I was very pleased with the staff. My saleswoman, Ashley, was very nice and professional. Everyone was very professional, and honestly this was the fastest I have ever been in and out of a dealership. So, after buying the truck, I get it home, and realize that there is a crack in the rear taillight. Well, Legacy fixed it, no issues, and the service department was very quick about it. Overall, the buying experience was spot on! Now, the bad..... So, the bad seems to be a common problem that several have had--regarding trade-in payoff. Now, I've purchased many vehicles, and have never known a dealership to take longer than 7-10 days to pay off a trade--so, I was little surprised when Legacy told me "30 days". I assumed they were giving me a "worst case" scenario.... Well, they weren't. When they say 30 days--they mean it, and maybe then some. Bottom line is this, if you're trading in a vehicle that has a current payment--be prepared to continue to pay on that vehicle, and the new one, for at least the next month (maybe longer according to some other reviews). This is not only frustrating, but can be financially straining, so it's something to keep in mind.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, Customer Service AFTER I purchased a vehicle. Countryside Ford f/k/a…read moreLegacy Ford was communicative and extremely nice BEFORE my husband and I flew from Louisiana to purchase a vehicle. AFTER the vehicle was purchased and the check engine light came on twice within 10 days of purchasing, countless calls went unanswered and voicemails went unreturned. We finally spoke with the General Sales Manager, whose name is forgettable considering his demeanor and horrible attitude. We informed the GSM of the check engine light issues, the diagnostic, and the cost of the repair, which amounted to $1,800.00, since the nature of the diagnostic would not be covered under warranty. The GSM attempted to blame my husband and I for the "damage" caused to the upper radiator hose that was about to fall off, missing spark plugs, missing clamps, a seal fuel injector needing to be replaced, and a bumper that was apparently removed at some point. After my husband and I questioned why he was trying to blame the customer for this damage, his response was, "Well, you are trying to blame me." Yes, my husband and I were blaming him considering his dealership SOLD US THE VEHICLE 10 days prior! The GSM then tried to say this damage could have been caused prior to Countryside receiving the vehicle and could have been overlooked by his best mechanic. If Countryside's "best mechanic" can overlook that sort of damage, the mechanic should no longer be employed. My assumption is the "best mechanic" caused this damage, did not want to admit fault, and concealed the damage since the vehicle passed inspection. The conversation ended because Countryside refused to accept accountability. The service manager at the dealership where my vehicle was repaired contacted the same GSM in an effort to retrieve payment so my husband and I would not be responsible for $1,800.00. The GSM was extremely rude and informed the service manager that this would be covered under warranty. The service manager informed the Countryside GSM that warranty would not cover this repair since this is human made damage and it does not involve defective parts. The GSM then said, "I am not participating in this" and hung up the phone. Now, my husband and I are out $1,800.00 29 days after we purchased this vehicle and there is NO ACCOUNTABILITY from Countryside. Overall, HORRIBLE customer service AFTER you purchase a vehicle.

Miss Rose, Mr Will, Mr Reid in service department, a few other staff that I unfortunately don't remember their names (I'm so sorry!) were also lovely to meet. 2026 UPDATE: I wish Google allowed multiple reviews because my 1st experience & review in 2024 with…read morenissan was good, which is why I returned for the buyback program they repeatedly emailed me about. Unfortunately this experience WAS BAD. I'm giving 2 stars because I like the vehicle better than previous 1. However, the overall buying/follow-up experience was extremely frustrating. I dealt with George, as he was my salesperson in 2024. He couldn't be as hands on due to working w/ a customer that was being a tad difficult. He told someone else to help me who was ok but just did not give me the same sincere experience that George did and left. George stepped back in. The deal was completed but communication and attention to detail fell apart. I left without the extra key, manual, a missing floor mat, less than half a tank of gas and a car that had not been cleaned. I was told to return the next day to get those things. When I did, I waited over 40 minutes for George, only to eventually be told he had already left for the day (although they initially told me he was on lunch). Phillip gave some missing items but I knew I'd need to come back for the others. There was also a subsequent uncomfortable experience with Phillip regarding my contact info. I gave him my biz/backup # specifically due to conversation about shooting ranges as I work in LE. He later used that # for unrelated texts & when I didn't respond, contacted my personal #-which I never provided or gave consent to use. That was completely inappropriate & unprofessional. However, I checked him & advised him to never contact me again, he apologized. The "buyout" was a nightmare. I was charged a payment on the previous vehicle because the lender hadn't been updated. There was then a discrepancy over the payoff amount between Nissan and the lender, leaving me with an unexpected balance & additional follow-ups. I didn't expect to have to manage this after being told the old vehicle was being bought out. I was also sold SmartPay, which I ultimately cancelled. The process and timing weren't adequately explained & because it could take several business days for payments to disburse, I was receiving payment alerts from the lender that made it appear my payment hadn't been made. If this is presented as a benefit of the deal, the process should be clearly explained. The biggest issue has been the Ultimate Titanium Package/warranty. I was sold on the coverage/benefits but once I got a flat tire, I discovered NAS had no record of me in their system. After spending over an hour on the phone, submitting my contract and tire documentation, my reimbursement claim was denied because I apparently had not been provided the complete contract. Finance later sent me additional pages, but NAS still said Nissan had not provided the documentation needed to establish coverage. I was also told it can take more than 90 days for membership to appear in their system. I was just short of 90 days but was still told Nissan had not submitted what was needed as they didn't see any documents for me pending. I eventually contacted the manager, Jimmy, on 9/3 after not being able to reach Eric in finance again. He said he'd look into the matter and call me back the next day. That call never happened. I've had to repeatedly call, follow up, & chase down answers myself. Voicemails are full, emails go unanswered, and promised follow-ups don't happen. This is the problem: the lack of follow-through. I shouldn't have to repeatedly contact the dealership to resolve missing items, paperwork issues, warranty coverage, and problems with products/services sold to me during the transaction. This was my first buyback experience, and unfortunately it has been my worst car-buying experience ever. Nissan itself is a decent brand, but my experience with this transaction left me feeling like once the deal was completed, I was on my own. I gave them plenty of opportunities to make things right because my 1st experience was positive. Unfortunately, the follow-up & follow-through have been extremely disappointing.

Subaru of McDonough is such a place and their Service Manager, Mark, is such a person. Mark jumped in as a new manager and cleaned up a potentially sticky situation with some repair work on my car. He did the right thing even though there was no immediate positive return on his actions. Warning: Make sure you get TWO key fobs before leaving the lot…read more If you buy a used car from this dealership, make absolutely sure they provide you with two key fobs before you drive off the lot. When we purchased our vehicle, we were only given one key fob. We were told they would "look for the spare" and mail it to us once they found it. In hindsight, that clearly meant they didn't actually have a second key. Unfortunately, when we later lost our primary key fob, we had no backup. Replacing a key fob can cost anywhere from $500-$800, so this is not a small issue. I really wish we had negotiated a lower price or required a second key fob at the time of purchase. Hopefully others can learn from our mistake and avoid being stuck in the same situation.

We specifically asked for the base-model vehicle because my sister simply needed something dependable to get from A to B.
