They have A Guy That does car detailing, he's part of son's Honda, but you actually pay him separately in cash. And he did a really good job in my car. We had an appointment with this dealership today at 7:30. My seat has a pin that is broke on it and it doesn't stay up. A brand new 2025 Honda. And it's not covered under warranty. They didn't see us until 930am when my husband told them he had to go to work they still didn't have the seat fixed. When told because it was a safety issue it should be serviced under their goodwill policy the service advisor told me I would have to file that myself. Well I know for a fact it is something they can file for so I asked to speak to the service manager and she said yes she could file for it but it would be two weeks as the warranty advisor was out on vacation. So now we are seatless in a 2025 car waiting on Honda to do their job. Every time I come to this Honda it takes forever to get an oil change. About 2 weeks ago I took my Passport in because of a nasty smell from under the hood and AC. They found a rodent nest. They took out most of it and put in a new cabin filter. On pick up I told them that the smell was still there. "Oh well". Yesterday I took my car back again and surprise - the nest was still there and another filter got installed. Of course I was charged again plus another $ 179 for diagnostics. I guess if you don't fix a problem the first time around you can charge twice. Sons of Honda in Mcdonough I'm truly upset with the service. I have been a customer since 2017 and have literally purchased 3 cars from this location. I recently had service done to my car due to me going out of town. During this process the tech that worked on my car left off a something on my car and it caused for fluid to go everywhere and mess up my engine. I spent all day at the dealership and still had to come back the next day and the issue is not fixed and even had to miss check in from me going out of town. The manager told me I had to pay for something that was over $1600, even though it was an error on the dealership. My car is still not repaired correctly, my engine light keeps coming on. I have already left one review but the situation has only festered. I really like the vehicle my husband and I purchased from this dealership. However, I really feel like we paid far too much and then things were added on to the total to finance with their partner finance company, Capital One. Their rate was higher than I had already gotten from my personal credit union. Every time the sales associate would come back to me with a number, I had to sign in "good faith" that I was willing to proceed if the numbers were good. I get to the finance department and the number I had agreed to was completely gone. Was told that wasn't their department and they were trying to make the deal irregardless of the number I signed prior to going back to finance. We waited for hours to go to finance when at the very least of doing honest and fair business, a pending purchased application should have been disclosed in order for us to take our time going over all the numbers. An extended warranty was added, GAP coverage was added, and to really make this experience wonderful, I go to take delivery of the vehicle only to find out I literally did not get a working key for remote locking and unlocking. I received 1 single laser cut key. Every time we locked the car to go out, the alarm was set off every single time by me using said key to get inside. Was told I could purchase one from "their guy" (for additional $300 added to the loan) when he was out next but still haven't heard from anyone about getting that key made. There were other issues that have come up now but I'm just disgusted with myself more than anyone, but that doesn't change the situation of how we were treated and told one thing when another person was telling us something different. My husband and I both are still getting letters from the dozen or so banks the dealership submitted our application to in order to finance with their "partners". Bottom line, read your numbers carefully. I had over $3k added to my loan when all was said and done. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. And the whole key thing would have been a deal breaker had we fully understood the issue regarding what was given to us. read more

I also asked her to check on the recall and see what is going on with that. She tells me that the recall may take me a little bit into some time you know a little longer and I said well I don't mind just I wanna get it done meanwhile back at the ranch two hours later I didn't hear anything from jazmine so I called the number she gave me to call her to talk about what's going on with the vehicle. She's not available at the time so someone she someone tell how I called so she comes over to where I am and she says did not tell you in a condescending voice and very a thought of it, offputting did not tell you that it was gonna take a little while before. I said I should still be getting updates. You should come update your customer that's part of the customer service. I've been coming here for a while. I've always gotten an update. It's been two hours so I informed the Tech don't do the recall because I have to go so the car wasn't ready yet so anyway she text me and told him my car ready for pick up go out there. I'll go to her station. She's on the phone with someone standing there for five minutes. I asked her. Can you put them a hold so we can get me through this she refused. I wanted to buy her a new vehicle. 830pm we agreed with the sales price, discount, plus trade in deal and was waiting for the finance guy to sign the paperwork. *Dishonesty* (Warranty add on was never asked if we want it. If you are scrolling on Ipad you don't see it. E-signature is setup on first step. Every line is a click with your signature.) 930pm Finance person went over the contract via tablet. He was scrolling down and esign. He went over warranties. My wife and I said out loud "wow the warranties are awesome and its included". Finance person said yes. Finance guy also talked about tire warranty that was included too. Hard copies printed and we saw the price added for the warranty of $2595 and tire warranty of $999 to the loan. I said wait, you just told me that this was included? Finance guy deflected and said this was written by the Sales Manager and apologized. 8.23.23, I went in to drop off $5K down payment. I spoke to David another Finance guy. This is when I found out about the $999 add on for the tire warranty. I was fuming. This is what should have happen: * Mr and Mrs we have 2 warranties if you are interested. 1st Warranty is bumper to bumper for $2595 covers for 8 years or 100,000 miles. 2nd warranty is tire warranty for $999 Would you like to get them? The service department here is absolutely TERRIBLE!! I made an appointment for service for 7/1 at 11:30. When I got there I was told it would be at least a 4.5 hour wait. I said I could not wait that long, which is why I made an appointment in the first place. So today, I arrived at 07:35 to again attempt to get my car serviced, to find an HOURS long wait once again. What is the point of being able to make an appointment if it's not going to be honored. I did not buy my car here, but it is local to my home so much more convenient for oil changes and maintenance. However, I will be driving back to my original dealer for service from now on. They've never had a problem keeping appointments and having me out of there within an Hour for basic service!! Zero stars were not an option. I had an oil change on April 4 2024 on my 2015 Honda CRV. By May 26 2024 my oil was empty. May 28th I went back to Honda and they agreed the oil should not have been empty as I had 2k miles before oil change was due. The mechanic recommended that I have a consumption test done to confirm that oil was burning quicker than normal. He advised that I would need an oil change to start the test and would need to bring the vehicle back to them in 1k miles. Sure lets get 'er done. His exact words on my report states he drained the oil, changed the oil. Well today June 28th I go back to Sons of Honda McDonough as I've reached 1k miles. The mechanic checks the vehicle and determines that a diagnosis test is needed because the vehicle has burned too much oil. Sure let's get 'er done. The Service rep begins to schedule or make note of my return date for the diagnosis test as we've agreed to come back on Monday. Now is where we go downhill real fast. Well here comes the manager who says I need to pay for an oil change and then have a consumption test done. We're past that point. Consumption test was just completed and the tech has recommended the diagnosis test. Nooo she says the consumption test wasn't done correctly. Back on May 28th the technician should have also changed the filter. That is the only or the correct way to start an oil consumption test. So I need to pay an oil change since I am due for an oil change anyway. I explain that I am not due for an oil change because I just got on oil change on May 28th and only drove 1k miles. We sliding downhill now. She says since the tech did not change the filter we need to start all over agian with an oil change. And now I need to pay for the oil change because the tech messed up the start of the consumption test. I told her to ask the tech if he changed the filter. She asks me who was the tech that serviced my vehicle. I ask her if she can't see his name in the report because I don't remember his name except he was a white male. She says no she can't see who the tech was. This level of service is absolutely absurd. Run, Run, Run and never look back!!!!!! If you still choose to do business with them, do no say you were not warned...I took my 2018 Honda Accord in for a recall of the seatbelts. I was given a shuttle ride back home. I was told that the seatbelt parts had to be ordered based on my VIN #. Seat belt parts were ordered but of course they have to hit you up with some type of work they recommend. Recommendations totaled 359.94. I asked about checking my Freon level. I was told that diagnostic test cost 389.99????? Unbelievable.... All of this communication was done with Braden via text messages and then all of a sudden the communication stopped. I called the next day and spoke to someone who advised Braden had the day off. I asked why didn't someone pick up his customer communications where he left off...This person stated he could help me. I asked about the Freon diagnostic fee....The answer I got sounded made up....very shady. I asked was my car ready for pick up and was told that they had not finished the job and that I would have to pick it up the next day, which would mean the job took 3 days to complete. I asked who the supervisor was and was told her name was Jessica. I asked to speak to her and was told she was in a meeting. I said I was on the way to speak to someone (going to borrow a friends car). I got a phone call back and was told that my car would be ready by 6pm and that someone would pick me up via their shuttle service. At 5:45pm, I became concerned that I had not heard from anyone so I called and was told that their shuttle rides stop at 4:30pm. I stated, I just do not know what to say about this experience.....I was told that I would be picked up. The person said so you really need a ride??????? You do not have a way to pick up your car???????? Ummmmmm No......I said I was told that someone would call and pick me up. I was picked up and taken to the shop. I picked up my car and as I was getting in the car I noticed some scratches on the front side of the car that were not there before. I got a strange feeling in my gut...The entire place gives you strange feelings....the staff give strange revengeful vibes....You will only know what I am talking about unless you have been victim to your share of narcissistic sociopaths. I drove off the lot but something was nagging my spirit. I pulled over at BJ's and walked around my car and noticed that someone had put several nicks and dings all around my car, like they dug into the paint down to the metal (like small pressure points) all the way around my car (here and there) and they damaged my back bumper in two places removing the paint significantly!!!!! My front bumper also has damage. I knew what my gut was telling me.... And of course they were going to deny all of it..... Noted one of the strange acting people taking pictures of my car at a far away distance but I never saw them take pictures of the back of my car. Call me so we can look at the sooooo very detailed pictures that you took of my car and you will see that this damage was not there. THESE ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE!!!! If they can not make money off of you or you inquire as to why things are being said and why your repairs have not been done....this is what you are going to get. They do just enough damage to try and make you think you are crazy....but it was obvious and apparent what had been done. Small nicks down to the paint on my front bumper, car door hinge now with a significant chip of paint, some nicks to hood, trunk landing with chip of paint and they got my back bumper good. There is a reason why they have all these low ratings and of course a 5 star rating suspiciously pops up after 10 bad ratings to at least keep them from having to totally jump ship. After paying $3,000 for the transmission repair my Honda Accord Sport to my surprise didn't feel right at all. At first I thought it was just me I didn't see any engine lights on but after riding with my daughter and son my suspension was confirmed. Just as I was about to take it in... I wake up to a major grease leak. Thinking that "well I guess this was the problem?" I AGAIN take it to Sons Honda They "repair" it and let me drive off. Soon after I decided to sell the vehicle to Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough, I receive a call from them making me aware that the transmission job done on that car was horrific. I was angry, disappointed, and scared that I not only drove that vehicle but I thought I was about to lose this deal! Everything in the end came out okay, I did end up losing some money but I was getting more then most places from the start so it wasn't too bad. Jim Ellis Toyota told me not to even worry with them and that they will take care of it. I was so grateful because I was over the Sons Honda dealership. Last thing I wanted to do was leave this review to let others know to be aware, if you get any repairs and your car doesn't feel right think twice on taking it back to them. My wife made the earliest service appointment possible for a Saturday. Her Honda Odyssey was having a minor issue that needed to be checked out. I arrived at 7:45am, 15 min before they opened and was 20th in line. A gentleman met me in the street where I sat just to turn in their driveway and I asked about my appointment time. His response was "well we don't really pay attention to appointments. They do hold your place in case we have so many customers that we have to turn people away." Red flag one. The rep said it would take about an hour to an hour and a half to have my car ready. It took them an hour and a half to "diagnose" what the rep that checked me in already indicated when he asked me what the car was doing. Red flag two. The rep then said it would take 2 hours to do the minor repair and would cost me $300. I responded the car is under warranty and he said it's a 2015 and a 5 year warranty so it's out of warranty due to years. Last time I was in an elementary math class was 36 years ago, but 2015 + 5 = 2020. It's 2019. They were in such a rush to get me to pay something, basic math skills escaped them. They also wanted me to get new front brakes. We just bought this car a couple of months ago, so being a used vehicle, we had a mechanic friend check the basics and he confirmed the brakes were in great shape. Again, all about money. Red flag three and four. Two hours passed and I was still waiting. So I went to look for the rep who initially helped me and failed basic math. He was nowhere to be found. Another rep helped me and came back from their shop area and said it would be "about 2 hours". At this point I lost my mind. My original rep showed up at that moment and I explained to him that I had another appointment soon and needed to leave. He said they had already started the repair. I told him I had the same exact service done at a local mechanic on a Honda Accord that was out of warranty and it took them 20 minutes and cost $60, not 4 hours and $300. Very friendly reps, easy to talk to and get information. Ended up not buying anything, but was contacted as a followup, which I appreciate. Went back in, made an offer, after some friendly back and forth, ended up agreeing on the price I offered. From sales to financing, everyone was great and easy to communicate with. Would never recommend doing business here. Recently purchased a brand new 2018 Pilot Elite here. One of the seats had a very small tear in the leather. Condition of sale was that the leather would be replaced. They called to tell me the vehicle was ready to be picked up, and the seat had been PAINTED and the paint was flaking off everywhere. I refused to take the vehicle. They took the seat out and "sent it to be repaired" over a week ago. It's been 11 days since I paid for the car, and I've yet to take possession. They have already parted with the vehicle I traded, or I would definitely consider taking my previous vehicle back and cancelling this sale. The service has been horrible- no communication whatsoever from them throughout this entire process. The lack of integrity in the staff handing this situation with my car is evident- they actually thought it was ok to NOT do as promised and replace the leather on the seat. I've attached pictures here of the ridiculous painting of the seat that they attempted to pass off as repaired. What should be a very exciting time- purchasing a brand new vehicle- has turned into a huge disappointment and left a major frustration in my heart for this dealer. I'm disgusted. Still don't have my car, and I have little faith that the repair of the seat will be satisfactory. I call to check on the car, and they keep saying "early next week" or "just a few more days" til it's ready. I wantI had to give one star... but I assure you- this dealership is not even worthy of that. I'll NEVER do business there again, and you can be assured that the Nalley family will hear about this terrible ordeal. Surely they wouldn't want this type of service in any of their dealerships. Update: after such a ridiculous ordeal, I ended up refusing delivery of the original Pilot I purchased and they got another one transferred from another dealer for me to purchase. This whole experience was horrible. Paperwork had to be done to update the title work, etc., and it was all just really awful. I'll never return to this dealer again, even though they offered two years of free service due to the awful experience. I wouldn't trust them to touch my car. Shop elsewhere...save yourself a ton of trouble! read more

I have been bringing my vehicle here since 2018. I brought my vehicle here in January 2022 and I am was told that there was a leak that needed to be fixed and a list of other things that needed to be done. After agreeing to having items repaired on my vehicle, I took it home and it began leaking fluids. Upon having a real mechanic look at my car I was told that I don't have any oil in my car because the dipstick was clean. I brought my vehicle back up to the dealership and they were supposed to fix the leak and repair whatever was wrong with it, he said that it would be free of charge and that it was fixed. This was all within about a week or two timeframe and here it is about a week and a half later and my vehicle has completely no oil in it and it has to be towed to the dealership. I have never had any issues with my vehicle leaking before now I have never had an issue with the car before now and now, the incompetent people at this establishment are trying to make it seem as if they don't know what happened. read more
