But they already diagnosed what needed to be repaired, the rear assembly. She never mentioned that they charge $165 for a diagnostic test but we understand the laborer is worthy of the reward. Amber said drop it off and we'll take a look at it.  We agreed to drop our vehicle off the next morning. Hours after we dropped it off, Derrick Campbell called and gave us a quote of like $730 to replace the assembly. We agreed. An hour later he called saying that he was given the wrong price by his supplier and the new price was $300 more. I said "can we be compensated for that because we didn't make the mistake of giving the wrong price". He immediately said "I can send the parts back". We said go ahead, we'll come get our vehicle. When we arrived, we asked Amber, the receptionist, to ask Derrick to come up front so we could ask him a question. Derrick came up front and I said "we own companies. And if we under-quote a customer, we don't call them back to tell them, we just eat the $300 because that's our error. Why didn't you at least tell us that y'all could split the $300 difference since you made the mistake, not us". He said "we're not eating a $300 difference when it's cheaper just to charge you for the diagnostic fee and do no work". I said "so that's your answer. You didn't even think about trying to work this out and gain a customer". He repeated the same thing he just said in front of Amber. I said "ok". We paid the $165 diagnostic fee and said we'll write a review. Amber said "please don't, this is a Christian company that's been in business over 20 years and lots of customers like us". I said "well my review won't hurt then".  BMW Nalley in Decatur has a lower price than this place. We originally told Amber that we didn't take our vehicle to Nalley because we recently moved and this shop is closer. We never argued with Amber or Derrick over the phone or in person. We never tried to get out of paying the diagnostic fee either. Customers pay for quality service and customer service. Derrick made it clear that collecting a diagnostic fee is worth more than the company's name. The other negative reviews are consistent with this place. We ignored their negative reviews and tried to support a minority owned local shop. We still will but not this one.

Took my car in for a B service; upon getting car back the A/C heat system was working…read moreintermittently, coming on and off especially, if drive on rough/uneven road or hit a pot hole. I called a few times to notify owner; he said, just because they serviced car does not mean current issue related to their work; bring the car back for no charge diagnostic. The intermittent cooling or heating continued for 3 weeks till I could adjust my work schedule to take car in again. Upon return, owner had me drive service tech around building several times in which the system was not blowing then came on automatically. Technician told owner its her blower motor; owner called someone to inquire on part; then told me it will be $1100 dollars to replace the blower motor. No physical inspection was done in regards to taking off the cover under the glove compartment to check blower motor or wires, etc. As part of the B service the cabin filter was to be changed inside the glove compartment; so work was done in area top and, its possible under glove compartment was opened during B service also. I did request going back with car to see what was going on when they open area for inspection and owner got upset and started discussing trusting their work. I asked for my key, back and left. Upon taking car somewhere else; they pulled the cover off, under the glove compartment in front of me and they were able to show me the blower motor wire was loose; they reconnect and secured. Did not have to pay $1100 for something that was wrongly stated as the problem from driving in car with me and determined as diagnostic test to check A/C heat system...smh. My A/C heat system is blowing strong and constant now, as it did, prior to me bringing my car to them for service. Unfortunately this was my 2nd time visiting this auto repair shop. Thankful, I did not listen to him when I knew that was not the problem because blower motor was replaced Feb. 2021. Proper diagnostic with hands on, visualization and applicable tool testing is always needed first!

I submitted them with a photo via email of the light that initially came up on my dash Sep 5th. I kept calling the company for an update regarding my vehicle. After two weeks of little to no information a friend went to the location on Sept 18, 2025 to inquire about the vehicle status. It wasn't until then Sept 18th, approximately 2hrs later, that Kyler contacted me via phone and provided me with his/their "diagnosis." Ironically, it was exactly as what I informed them of via email. So my car has been sitting and unattended, and undiagnosed for 2 weeks. Meanwhile I could have someone a little more honest and transparent. Costing hundreds of dollars in Uber/Lyft bills. Today, I had it towed somewhere else. I noted on my receipt that I did not agree with the fees as they hadn't done anything. The guy at the counter says to me, make sure you send your car somewhere where they work on range rovers. No sh** , you guys didn't, but you never let me know that you couldn't. Instead you let my car sit for weeks. No communication, unprofessional, unreliable, and unpredictable. I wouldn't trust them!
