McDonough Nissan has come a long way; their sales department team is a sheer delight to deal with. Thurston Madison and the General Sales Manager Alex Deoliveira know the importance of meeting a customer's needs beyond measure. I can truly say that they have made my vehicle purchasing experience a complete pleasure at McDonough Nissan!

**DON'T DO IT! BUYER BEWARE! ** This dealership's employees are unresponsive and very unprofessional. I worked out a deal to purchase a vehicle from McDonough Nissan because TrueCar recommended. The sales agent Jessica Sopson, was quick to respond (via text) to an inquiry regarding a particular vehicle that I liked, but stopped responding once I asked for an out of the door price. After a few hours and no response from Jessica, I tried calling the number that she texted me from, but of course the number does not receive calls. I called the dealership because Jessica did not respond to my requests to get the out of the door price. That information is important to me because I live 3.5 hours away from the dealership. I wanted to prevent a waste of my time and fuel. I called the dealership and spoke with a guy that did not give out of his name upon request. He followed up on the request for the OTD request and sent it to me via text. Upon agreeing on the OTD price, I was told that the deal was wrapped up and that they would hold the car for me as long as I schedule an appointment the next day. I have screen shots to prove this. The morning of the appointment, at 0902 I was informed by text message that the car was still available, and that they wanted to make sure that my appointment was still confirmed. I confirmed the appointment. Not even 30 minutes later, I get a text message that simply stated "the vehicle has just sold". Mind you, I'm well into 2 hours on this 3.5 hour trip, so of course I called and the salesman did the old "we only hold cars if you paid a deposit" and "we have other cars on the lot that you can look at". TYPICAL CAR SALESMAN BEHAVIOR. In addition to submitting public reviews, I will report them to TrueCar, as I doubt that this is the type of behavior that their "certified" dealerships are expected to display. On a better note, I ended up purchasing a brand new car from a TrueCar certified dealership that I had a 10/10 experience with- Carolina Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT- where Deondre treated me how you should treat a customer that WILLING to paying THOUSANDS of dollars for a vehicle. I give McDonough Nissan a 0/10. I wouldn't purchase a popsicle from them if it were 200 degrees outside. I read the bad reviews before hand and had to learn the hard way. Well, you've been warned.

I have given this place several chances to provide a good experience but I have yet to get one. They have extremely poor attention to detail, they don't honor appointments for services they send you emails to come in for service. I received an email that my oil needed changing and to click here to schedule an appointment. So I did. So come in early so maybe I can still enjoy some of my day off (Monday) and I told the guy checking me in that I had an appointment. He said that doesn't matter because oil changes are first come first served. Of course it doesn't say that in the email asking me to schedule an appointment. The oil changed was advertised for $14.95. We'll see if they charge me that or do as they usually do and up charge it. This will be my last time coming here. I do not trust this place. They rarely reset the alerts on my car and never replace the oil change sticker in my window unless I specifically point it out. I have often wondered if they actually performed the service I asked for.

I was told that the repair person did not report in until 10am and offered a ride to my home which I accepted. The only message I received that day was a text which stated my vehicle was at the facility for repair. When I hadn't heard anything by noon, I called and left a message. No one called me back. So needless to say, my vehicle was not going to be ready on Tuesday. I called repeatedly on Wednesday and was finally told the young lady who had my paperwork was out due to a family emergency and would not return until Friday. The gentleman I spoke with (who was a repair person and was able to find my paperwork on a desk) informed me there was a back log and there were several vehicles before mine. I was not informed of this before I left my vehicle. Had I known, I would not have left it because I only have one vehicle and many daily responsibilities. This was a great inconvenience to me as there were no loaner vehicles available so I had to borrow my neighbors' vehicle. Communication is key. The office should still be able to function irrespective of one person being out. I did not receive any updates until it was almost time to retrieve my vehicle on Friday, 17 March. I did not receive the quality customer care I expected especially for the amount of money I had to pay to get my vehicle repaired. Also, I know my vehicle is in need of inside detailing, but that was no reason for whomever entered it to carelessly dump the contents of my seat gap filler onto the floor in front of the driver's seat and toss it onto the passenger seat. This was not a great experience for me. I am a 32 year veteran of the Armed Forces and I fully expected better.

Then I told her to transfer me to an actual mechanic to see if the service I needed was possible. He told me that the receptionist never set the appointment and they wouldn't service my car anyway too many miles. One star

They have A Guy That does car detailing, he's part of son's Honda, but you actually pay him separately in cash. And he did a really good job in my car. When I arrived, the price presented was not what had been clearly agreed to. I immediately provided screenshots showing the exact price that had been confirmed in writing. Despite this, the dealership did not honor the quoted price. What was most concerning was the response from management. Rather than acknowledging that incorrect information had been provided, the situation was repeatedly described as a "miscommunication" or "confusion." However, when a price is clearly stated, confirmed multiple times, and documented in writing, it is not a misunderstanding--it is simply inaccurate information being given to a customer. I took extra steps to verify everything ahead of time specifically to avoid this situation, yet still ended up wasting time, leaving work unnecessarily, and being presented with different terms upon arrival. Transparency and accountability matter in a purchase of this size. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this dealership get all details in writing and be prepared to verify everything again before showing up.
