This is an update to my experience at 40th and Bell. I finally gave up on the 40th and Bell location and went to the North Scottsdale location. Day and night difference. The facility was nice and clean and efficient, and the front desk person was friendly. My lab was finally run without being cancelled. I'd stay away from 40th and Bell and use the North Scottsdale location. read more

Do yourself a favor and ask your doctor to send you to LabCorp for your blood work. The unprofessionalism and incompetence is beyond frustrating. After waiting 7 days for results for blood tests and a urine sample I was told by the phlebotamist Claudia that they had no record of me being there and they did not know where my samples were. She would check and call the next day. I never received a call back. The representative in Patient Solutions said she wasn't able to make them magically appear and there was nothing she could do. The courier said they do not keep track of the samples they transport. A voicemail to CEO Dave Dexter went unanswered. An email to websupport@sonoraquest.com went unanswered. Chat on Quest Diagnostics website said they weren't able to help. read more

Went here for a blood draw on a Monday morning. I had an appointment which I think made things smoother but it was not crowded at all. Clean, efficient, and friendly. I wish I made note of the woman who drew my blood. It is the first time ever that I actually did not feel anything, yes, not even a pinch, when the needle entered and on top of that when it was over I really could not see where she went into my arm. Even in the following days (where sometimes in the past have been a little sore or have seen a small area of bruising where the needle entered -- there was NOTHING. read more

I went in this morning for a biometric screening. First I made an appt online which helped immensely. When I walked into the office, it was packed with people. I was called back within 5-10 min of my spot time and had such a sweet girl. I think her name was Alejandra? Or Alexandra. I can't remember but she was extremely sweet and took great care of me. Walked in last week. The wait was not very long. Blood drawn was done very nicely and almost painless. The problem I had was with young man at the front desk who checked me in. He never greeted me or smiled at all. I almost felt like I was in front of a firing squad. He asked me my address and my brain got foggy and I forgot my zip code. He was not helpful or understanding. He angrily stated I had to have it to check in and then looked away from me. It took me a little while to text my husband for the info but the guy at the desk was not nice about me forgetting it. He never smiled or was sympathetic at all... I felt he should not be working at that front desk since he had no customer service qualities. I will never go back to that location! That experience made me feel so bad it brought me to tears!!!! If only I could have gotten just one smile from him................ read more

Very dissatisfied with this location. For starters there were about 3 staff members floating from the check in area to the patient rooms that were very unprofessional. One of them you couldn't understand because her English wasn't very good. Then her and her co worker were going back and forth talking in Spanish which makes patients feel uncomfortable. Then- they couldn't find the orders. There is a specific way to find orders that they apparently were not competent or trained in and they had me call a phone number to get my own orders in the system. Low and behold that number they gave me got me no where. I ended up calling my work so they could speak directly with them about what was needed and how to access it. The woman couldnt take their call because she was too busy so she tried to pass it off to her other unprofessional co worker. Neither of them interested in the assistance being offered to them in learning how to pull up the order. If you are the manager of this location- please know the staff needs some major re training on professionalism, being helpful and their job role and how to locate orders. Please know they are not efficient in this high volume location. And from the sounds of it- samples are getting lost or something because several people have walked in stating this. To top it off- this lady got a highlighter and highlighted rudely what information she needed from me. It was actually quite appalling. read more

OMG I have never been to a lab we're the girl in the front was so nasty. Her name is Christina, If you have some one who is the 1st person you talk to and is the face of the your office. They should be a people person. It was bad enough that I was late cuz I woke up to a flat tire so my morning started off not good so when I got here all I asked was if the check in pad had checked me in and she respond all nasty and looks at me and said you're late you'll be a walk in which I had already assumed that I would be. Sorry I had a flat tire. She calls me back up to ask for my order witch I have on my phone. Still talking nasty to me I need it printed out what doctor is it ill have to call there office to send it in. If it's not in our system. Well how long will it take, but I have it right here. I had just gone to another lab 2 weeks ago they had no problem with the one on my phone and she still nasty well good for them. I just walk away the technician who called me back Alejandra was sweet nice professional got my stick on the first time, she apologized for Christina I told her it's not your fault that other people are nasty and did not need to apologize for other people's actions. If it wasn't for Alejandra. I think I would never go back to that lab. It's 50/50 now. It's sad how 1 person in a office can ruin it for all the hole office. Especially if I can just go to lab core or just to my doctors office to get my labs done it's sad that Sonora Quest Labs losing out on business because of one nasty person. read more

5 stars ONLY because of Laura (sp?) They are way short staffed almost an hour wait with less than 3 people ahead of me. SO I was already not happy when I went into get blood drawn. My experiences here have been up and down however the last three times have been terrible. I ask for a specific type of needle and the "temps" try and tell me, what they are using, is that needle. It clearly is not! then the throw a fit because they wasted a needle. SO this time I wanted to make it ultra clear the needle, I needed to get my blood drawn. I came off a little crabby and Laura politely said give me a chance. I explained my past experinces and she apologized, assured me she would comply and had a great attitude. Thank you. Sonora Quest you should reach out to her and let he know she saved a customer and has probably done so in the past. If it wasn't for her it would be 1 star. They best part was when I thanked her and told her that when we were done I was going to YELP! She thought I meant YELP or (scream out) when she stuck me! read more
