They serviced my pool on two weeks and they billed me for a month of service. The pool cleaning lady came out and did not even have experience with the equipment, cleaning person told me that my salt balance is off and asked her to are you going to adjust the the machine and she said that she does not know how to work it. I texted Seth and he said he does not all employees know how to adjust it and they all do a different job and not all have experience that is all in text. Then how are they going to keep my salt water adjusted properly. They do not send someone else to do it. Also there communication is terrible I texted Seth on few issues like some repair and replace a pump. Did not answer me till a few days after and said that he is sorry and but he is to busy and was not able to get to me. The future with this company would have been a disaster no experience for the employee with machines and equipment and bad communications. Also after two weeks not happy with service Seth says he is sticking me with the one year contract and trying to force me with 1800.00 dollars. Do not sign contract because they can give you terrible service and try to stick you with contract. He threatened me with the lawyer of suing me instead of trying to make matters better. This is exemplified by his refusal to settle for this area's average mediocre service--his service always is excellent and he never leaves projects "partially" complete. When he takes on a protect it gets done correctly and completely and he is a wonderful person as well. Before I hired Pool Dudes, I already had tried Johnson Pools & Healdsburg Pool Services both of whom are scammers. My pool is salt water--this is the first pool I have ever owned--and I just assumed that because both companies were aware of this they would service the pool appropriately. Nope. Each just continued dumping chlorine into the pool which I later learned from a friend is absolutely NOT how a salt water pool is serviced. Johnson had even been the pool service company for the previous owners and had just taken the lazy way out (to avoid having to take out the salt water pool components and actually clean them) which left the 2 cleaning cells frozen and unable to work in the pool! Criminals!! When Larry got on the job, it took just about a week or two for him to repair what those two useless & LAZY other pool companies had destroyed and suddenly the salt water system was working perfectly. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY with "established" long running pool service providers!! Call Pool Dudes to get your pool needs taken care of. You will be SO happy you did!

But, sadly, that was not possible and we had to move on. I need someone to at least communicate and inform instead of just want to collect a monthly bill for minimal/no effort or work. I was lucky enough to connect with Larry at Pool Dudes. Just night and day from the previous company. He followed-up to get the business and inspect the situation. He generated a report after testing. He explained the situation and how he would recommend to proceed. He was immediately trustworthy and fair along with outlining a reasonable approach to moving things forward. Just a month or so in and we already are seeing a dramatic improvement. Larry really takes pride in addressing the problems and options along with making it happen. We are very happy and highly recommend Pool Dudes.

We thought northern oasis pool was going to be great service for our 2 pools at our businesses but…read moreturned out it to be a nightmare. We had a county inspection at one of our pools and failed it 3 times because the chemicals were off all 3 times. I asked Omar(owner) can you meet with the inspector so we can get this passed and he did not want to. Not only did we get hammered with fees from the county but our pool was shut for a total of 2 weeks. With all of this he didn't even go out of his way to provide any discount at all. I would highly recommend staying away from this company as they do the bare minimum and really doesn't care about customer service at all. RESPONSE TO OMAR(OWNER): You were unwilling to meet the inspector I have proof to, I let you know this is the time they can come and you came very early in the morning instead. The pool was actually open and running after you took over and then we got inspection following week. There was nothing wrong with any of our equipment because right after we let you go new pool company had it running in 24 hours with passing the inspections and both pools running without any equipment repaired. You did the bare minimum which was checking the chemicals which failed also.

He took a pic of the pool from outside the pool area and sent me an email with the pic, all services he supposedly performed and pool readings all without entering the pool area. I called Frank to let him know his technician lied about the services performed. He responded saying he was aware and the technician didn't service the pool because he thought the dog was in the yard and planned on returning the following day. If that were true why send me an email stating all the services he performed, including adding chemicals, along with false pool readings instead of sending an email saying he would return the next day because he was unable to service the pool. Better yet knock on the door and save a trip. My dog wasn't even in the yard. I cancelled the service since Frank just made excuses for his employee. Frank did apologize and came himself to service my pool the following day instead of his employee. I wasn't going to write a review until I received yet another bill for service 3 months after cancelling. Sent an email telling them to stop since they are not servicing my pool. Didn't work. Another reason for cancellation is my pool walls were turning greener week after week. I had to point this out when it should have been noticed by the technician servicing my pool weekly and taken care of. I also had black algae forming along the walls and steps. I only know of this one time that service was not performed and lied about doing it. The condition of the pool makes me wonder if this was not the first time. I definitely cannot trust the company going forward.

The previous home owner was doing their own chemicals and treatments. We told them upon arrival the pool needed a once over and to let us know what it needed. We know nothing about pools! When he came out the first time he got lost, passed our house. So this was flag number one. Doesn't everyone have GPS at this point? So for the service, they came out scrubbed the pool, adjusted the chemicals, in turn in doing this clogging the pool filters (that they didn't clean or tell us needed to be cleaned) so that the heater didn't get enough water pressure so the pressure switch burned up, he also adjusted all of the settings so that we now were heating the whole pool with the heater instead of our solar. The heater is meant for the hot tub that wouldn't work anymore. He says he has been in the pool business for 50 yrs!!! Maybe he needs continued education to stay up on the times! I would steer clear of this company if you have a pool and expensive equipment. Could potentially cause major problems and damage. We were charged 660 for two months of service and had to pay for the repair of the high pressure switch and spend two hours on the phone with a pool tech to re-set all the programming.
