It was refreshing to work with people who genuinely cared about helping me make an informed decision and do what was best for my home. After years of our guesthouse HVAC system operating somewhere between "mildly haunted" and…read more"emotionally unstable," Adam Eck HVAC finally solved the mystery. For literally a couple years, our previous HVAC company serviced the unit twice a year, came out for additional service calls, nodded thoughtfully at the equipment... and somehow never fixed the actual problem. We eventually accepted our fate and furnished the guesthouse with a space heater, a fan, and what can only be described as climate-related trust issues. Then came Adam Eck HVAC. They were easy to schedule, showed up on time (already a miracle these days), communicated clearly, and actually diagnosed and fixed the issue. Apparently the system was capable of heating and cooling all along. Who knew. They've now taken over our biannual HVAC maintenance for the entire property and did a fantastic job with that as well - thorough, professional, efficient, and easy to work with. Now the guesthouse works consistently, our guests no longer need to dress in layers "just in case," and the portable heater has retired. Professional, responsive, honest, and - most importantly - effective. Highly recommend.

We had a 40-year-old furnace and a 30-year-old central air conditioning system that was really on its last legs. We had been advised not to use our furnace any further. Called Rudy, who came on the job just around the time of the fires in October of last year, which made all HVAC contractors crazy busy. He helped us sort through a complicated and time consuming permitting issue by steadily chipping away at it. It was enough to make less brave contractors throw up their hands, but not Rudy! Once the permit was issued, he and his team handled the situation with energy and zeal, especially after we had been waiting for months for the paperwork. His price was extremely competitive, and his finished work topnotch. This is not to mention his personable style of doing business. As far as we're concerned, he 'saved our bacon' and the performance of our equipment has been flawless. It is my humble opinion that you won't go wrong with Rudy and Wine County HVAC. We couldn't be more content!

I found it at Elevated Comfort. From the initial visit to the installation. There was zero upselling during the initial visit, which I appreciated! Miguel, along with Juventino were professional, informed and able to answer all my questions. They installed a split mini pump heating and cooling system. They cleaned up really well when done. If this is the level of competence Elevated Comfort offers, plus really reasonably priced units with financing available, this is the company I'd go back to with zero hesitation.

It's taking a while in that I need to find a finisher and get electrical person to figure out how to get a dedicated outlet installed. Been working with JP and Sharon in the office and they are very kind and patient. Scheduling has been great in that I was out sick and then I have a trip coming up so- we will get there. Estimate seems comparable to 2 others. Installers were nice but after disappearing for 2 hours (lunch?) and returning dirty- like sweat and the dirt getting on my white walls felt terribly stressful and offensive. I had to spend a full day baby sitting the master bedroom space and then it just went really long. 9+ hours! A/C worked in the immediate try after install. A week later I turned it on in the middle of a hot night- but it never cooled. I thought I must be been too sleepy to set it right. The next day I tried again but the room never cooled after 4 hours. I just didn't have the time to read a manual to diy le check my efforts after already giving a whole day of my time to this effort. Of course the weather cooled. My husband eventually turned it on to see if it really didn't work after that 9am to 6:30pm workday I spared. He quickly balked that the unit was not working. I finally called it in and they were wanting a five hour window. They ended up sending a guy in a 2 hour window so last Friday. He confirmed there was no coolant in the unit. (So totally upsetting the amount of time and effort and money to pay for this type of incompetence.) My husband and I are so frustrated to hire people that you hope would work and deliver on their job, as we would in ours. Not quite. Yes I texted the bid guy on his trip photos of dirt on my walls in real time and the guy seemed to get the message to clean the wall. During bidding- their truck had damaged our front fence and they just left it till when they got the job. Which istill was not fixed when the AC job happened. It just was all kinds of unprofessionalism- all we could do was withhold payment till the fence was completed. So fast forward to now- to not have coolant in the A/C? It's like "who's job is that?" To have to interrupt our lives and schedules 2 more visits was just so frustrating. It seemed professional during the bid process but the actual installers were messy - and not quite communicative about why it all took so long. If your workers have to take off and get dirty on another job- you better have a stack of fresh shirts for your workers to change into. (And tell the homeowner you have to take off for 2hours-I could have napped & gone on a walk) For the frustration- I am not sure the value was worthwhile as everyone else had similar bids. We had to keep making additional time for this all to get completed so that was costly. Time is money.

A friend told me she had hired Adams Heating and Cooling to install AC in her house. She said they had the highest ratings of any company in the area. I did a deep dive, read the reviews myself, and decided this was the company for me. Brian came out to inspect my place. Based on its size, he recommended two different Trane furnaces. They were available to schedule the install within a week of me giving him the go-ahead. His crew arrived at the agreed-upon time and did a great job removing my 40-year-old furnace. What a difference! I love my new furnace. It's SO quiet! It doesn't wake me up in the morning when it kicks on. Here are some words to describe my experience with Brian and his team: professional, thorough, knowledgeable, efficient, polite, kind, responsive, delivered what they promised, easy to work with, and integrity. Looked over 3 highly rated companies on Yelp for an estimate. All I was looking for was an estimate. Contacted the first two companies. With both, a unexperienced office person answered and both could not give me the estimate I was looking for. Both required a technician to physically check the unit at a cost. It seemed I had no choice but make an appointment with each. Frustrated on knowing I'm going to be paying someone for not fixing the furnace, I contacted Adams Heating to see what they had to offer. Right away, I got a response from the owner in directing me to his tech (Josh). After discussing my situation with him, I cancelled my previous two appointments and made one with Adams. What was the difference??? Simply put ...Integrity and old school values! Josh was honest in his communication and gave me what I exactly wanted, that of an estimate. The problem turned out to be the capacitor and was replaced quickly at a very reasonable price. Throughout the replacement, Josh gave me an quick oversite of the furnace itself which was educating. Should I need any furnace repair in the future, I without any hesitation, will contact Adams once again!

We hired KC for a substantial HVAC overhaul of our home, and what has impressed us most isn't just the quality of the installation. It's the people. Every single person we've dealt with has contributed to making what could have been a stressful, disruptive project into a genuinely wonderful experience. It started with Brandon, who patiently answered what must have been an absolutely ridiculous number of questions. What impressed me most wasn't simply his knowledge, but the way he listens. He takes the time to really understand what's being asked before responding thoughtfully and thoroughly. Never rushed, never dismissive. Morgan was equally terrific, following through on everything we discussed, coming up with creative solutions, and taking the time to explain the reasoning behind them. The office team deserves enormous recognition, too. Virginia has been incredible from the beginning. Our family's schedule is not an easy one to accommodate, yet she has been endlessly patient, flexible, and responsive. Every interaction leaves you feeling that she genuinely cares. Lia worked her financing magic to help make this project possible for our family, and Brittney's follow-ups and reminders have been so consistently timely and thorough that you could practically set a clock by them. There's a tremendous amount happening behind the scenes on a project like this, and these ladies make it all look effortless. Then came the installation crew. Mike, Gary, and Blake arrived right on time, introduced themselves with good eye contact and a quiet, confident professionalism that immediately put us at ease. Chris and Caden joined the project later and carried that same professionalism throughout. Mike, in particular, has a wonderful way of communicating. Calm, organized, clear in his explanations, and thoughtful about making sure everyone understands what's happening. He's exactly the kind of person you hope will be leading work in your home. The care these guys take is something else. They laid protective mats along their entire working pathway, were extraordinarily mindful of our belongings, and thoughtfully left the house in a condition that allowed our family to continue living around a major construction project. One of my favorite moments came when our eight-year-old son surveyed his Lego creations after the crew had been working nearby. "Wow! They didn't break any of my Legos. It looks like they were careful, caring, and... that word I can't remember how to say!" He meant conscientious. And I don't think he could have described these guys any better. It's the little things. Bringing our garbage bins up for us without being asked. Fixing a loose kitchen light fixture that had absolutely nothing to do with their job. Helping coordinate the drywall work needed for the installation so we didn't have to chase down yet another contractor. Nobody asked them to do these things. They just noticed and took care of them. Of course, a project this size inevitably comes with surprises. When it became clear that the original HVAC vent locations couldn't be reused, the team calmly walked through the options, explained the trade-offs, and worked out a solution that really prioritized the best possible result. No drama, no making us feel like we'd become a problem to solve. Just thoughtful people figuring out how to do things right. And as I look around the installation, I keep discovering more examples of just how much thought went into everything. The placement of equipment, the routing of lines, the way things were finished. Even the work that will eventually be hidden from view was done with remarkable care and neatness. Nobody would ever know if some of those details were a little sloppy. But the people doing the work would know. There's a real sense of pride in their craftsmanship, and it shows everywhere. That commitment was especially apparent on Saturday evening, when the crew was still hard at work at 6:30, determined to get everything finished and ready for us. They were even prepared to stay longer to walk me through the controls and setup. At that point, I encouraged them to call it a night and get home to their families. That kind of dedication doesn't go unnoticed. We've only been using the new system for a short time, but the results are already remarkable. The house warms up surprisingly quickly, and it happens almost silently. No big rush of air, no loud equipment announcing that it's working. The house just becomes comfortable. Even the energy consumption we've observed so far has been impressively low. It's wonderful to see that all the care put into designing and installing the system translates into such a noticeable difference in how our home feels. Another part of KC's value proposition that I really appreciate is their worry-free warranty.
