Myself and six other guys were on a trip from Northern California to Los Angeles one of our guys in the group got a flat tire at 5 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon this dealership really helped us out they stayed late to install a new front tire and tube on my buddies softail it's a rare these days that a dealership would go out of their way to help us out we were able to continue on our trip and make it to our destination for that night. Sonoma County Harley-Davidson - 2019 fxbb street bob - Motorcycle Repair Near Me - Cotati, California

It was the hottest day of the year so I decided to take a ride up the Pacific Coast Highway where the air was 30 degrees cooler. At a shop in Bodega Bay a Frenchman admiring my Dyna pointed out the front tire looked compromised & I agreed. I had no desire to return to the inland heat but was too far from home to trust the tire so took it to Sonoma Co. Harley. I was concerned they may not have time to fix it. Although they were fully booked, Gary at the service desk had mercy on me and fit me in-even offered me a ride to a nearby eatery to wait it out. I bought my bike there before the new owners took over and had it serviced there ever since but was extremely grateful for the way Gary and the others took care of me. Thanks much guys! ***** read more

The guys at Sonoma Harley did a really great job on my Sportster XL 1200. Getting it back to me a.s.a.p. Thank you Sonoma Harley!

One of the things I love about SC Harley is they have kept the same staff for years. I had to pick a department for this review, and in this instance I'd purchased parts, but it goes for the entire team. I have ridden for years, and done business with them as did my father. I love when you walk in and it feels like Cheers, everyone knows your name. If they don't have what you want, they will find it and I've always found them to be honest, competitively priced, consistent, and they have a personal touch. I went in once and they asked me when was the last time I'd checked my tire pressure, and had me go around back and check it and gave me a lesson in inspecting your bike prior to riding. That kind of service is unheard of in this day and age and I will always try and support them. read more

I bumped this up to a 4 because they made it right. Although they still do not offer a military discount, which was my primary complaint Trustin was very helpful throughout the past 6 days. They even washed the bike, and took time to explain to me how I can check the adjustment myself. Thanks, please reconsider offering 10% to those who serve this great nation. read more

Awesome experience here. Took the 2 1/2 hour drive up north to see Matt and as promised he delivered exactly what we were looking for with an amazing price tag out the door to boot. We had a no pressure sales experience there and are thankful to the Sonoma-County HD family for helping us make our first new HD purchase. We love our 2014 Street Glide and are logging miles after miles every chance we get. Thank you to everyone there ! Friendly staff and clean showroom. read more

I dropped my bike off with Gary in the service department. He did a great job of keeping me informed as well as the explaining everything to me so I understood everything. Technician did a nice job installingThe goodies I bought. Looks good and runs better. That's always the desired result! The girl in the service department I believe her name is Nora was very helpful too. Jesus at the parts counter will hook you up he's got all the goodies you need. Thanks everybody! read more

Another great experience here as always. Jeremy in parts and manager Derek spent over an hour helping me with nuts and bolts and little obsolete parts for my 04 Dyna. After figuring out that what I needed was unavailable throughout the entire country, they helped me figure out alternative ways to make things work, and totally hooked me up. Could not recommend more! read more

I went into the store to purchase some bike riding clothes. My boyfriend had recently purchased a new bike. Danielle, the person working there was EXTREMELY rude and condescending to me. She ignored me at first, until I finally asked for help and then she acted like it was the end of the world just answering a few questions. I walked out and I will NEVER go back! Why work at a job that you don't like? I am sure I am not the first to leave because of her rudeness! read more

What a pleasure working with a true sales professional like Jeff Shem with Sonoma County Harley. He answered my initial questions, followed up on a timely basis with additional information, provided a competitive offer and made the purchase easy. Several other staff members were equally competent as well. I'd certainly recommend this dealership to others. read more

I went to Sonoma Harley to get a new battery. They talked me into an expensive Lithium battery and said it would last longer and could be recharged more. It was BAD advice. I left the lights on one time and it killed the expensive battery and the warranty did not cover it, after only 3 months life. I am going back to the lead battery that will actually recharge when you leave the lights on; and will go somewhere else to service my Harley's. read more

How refreshing! This new ownership of the Harley Davidson dealership just happened a few months ago. I refrained from writing an earlier review to be sure the ownership change was going to be a positive one. I was happy to see that the new owners retained the previous staff. Each time I go to the dealership, for either parts or service, clothes or to just look at the new bikes, I have been completely satisfied by the friendly and helpful staff. I also appreciate the longer hours and addition of being open on Sundays! I was a loyal customer to the previous dealership, and I'm more satisfied then ever at the new dealership changes and improvements. I'm certain that no business is perfect every second of every day, but I haven't experienced anything negative from this group of Sonoma County Harley Davidson staff. read more

It was late in the day on a Saturday & while they were unable to help me right then, the following week they came to Napa, picked up my bike, fixed my bike & brought it back a few days later. Service was exceptional and the bike runs great. Big bonus, it came back detailed! They even cleaned the whitewalls! Thank You Sonoma Harley Davidson!!! read more

As most customers, I had a lot of questions to ask when upgrading accessories. Darry Hudspeth helped me with my repeated qustions and even grabed his own tools and showed me how to install!! 1hr. & 15 min. He spent with me. I am commenting on their clothing business, not motorcycle. A shirt was received as a birthday gift with a gift receipt Upon finding out it did not fit, and getting the receipt, we attempted to return it. When we returned it on day 39, it was said that only a 75% credit would be given because of a 30 day return policy. Despite pointing out that the gift receipt had no notice on it about 30 days and that 30 days is unreasonable in a gift giving situation, a full credit was refused. The shirt is still brand new with all tags on it. There was no demand by us for cash, only a 100% credit. read more

I'm so impressed with the service department at Sonoma County Harley Davidson and particularly with David Svoboda. My father passed away suddenly in January and left behind a 1997 Dyna Wide Glide convertible that had been sitting in his garage for three years without being ridden. Having spent many miles on the back of that bike with him, Dad wanted me to have it. We knew it needed a lot of work, so at the end of June, we had it towed from Antioch to Sonoma County Harley Davidson (where we live). David answered our call and guided us through the entire process. From the moment the bike was dropped off until it was delivered back to us, David gave us (and the bike) his full attention. I had total confidence in the work of the team as David walked me through every decision and option available. The work was done with dedication and heart and the bike runs better than ever. I owe a huge thank you to David and the entire team at Sonoma County Harley Davidson! read more

Phil Eiselin -- Glad to see you read your company's reviews. After reading your reviews and being a business owner I can see you care. The good - Just bought a 2015 40k bike from your shop. Jeffrey was great - attentive but not pushy and wanted to help, In my business there is a sticker that sets behind my cash registrar for the sales people to read It says "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK" So I was happy to be treated with respect, so your other reviews of never judge a customer by its cover hit me on that level, as he was very professional. Also Derick although a little hesitant in the beginning came around with a smile and put a deal together. The whole experience put a positive spin back on my shoulders and made me feel as if the trust between buyer and seller could be achieved as I had lost that feeling when it was the previous dealer. I'm writing this also as to Jeff A. went out of his way to come to come out and help me start my bike today. (Which by the way for your other sales people was a simple stupid thing - I did not have it in neutral), and Ive owned a lot of Harley s over 60 yrs. I really think he went above and beyond, I just wish when I called the Dealer your sales staff would of just said do you have it in neutral. Regardless hats off to Jeff ! The con's like your previous reviews I also wasn't happy when I also bought $338.40 worth of accessories, and although I was given 10% off on my new Helmet, I was not given 10% off on everything. My wife still needs to come out and buy a helmet and gloves. With the power of Internet at hers and my back door - Service and Customer Sales should be your Number #1 attention. Not only am I a Viet Nam Veteran, belong to the American Legion, Hog Member for over 30 yrs - A business owner in the community for over 25years, I know a lot of people including my son's who ride, and that should matter. Jeff thanks again and even though you and Derek miss spoke, first Derek with the USB - he made it right and gave me one, and you telling me it had CB - when it doesn't - I have to buy the module - I would recommend any of my friends there, because you care and you want to make things right. Keep up the good work and I will be back. Phil I would work on a discount for people who appreciate your service and who have lived long enough to earn that respect from the people who keep your business thriving.. Thanks again -- Rocket read more

I walked in there with over $5000 cash in my pocket looking for leather, bags, cold weather gear and other accessories for my bike. Maybe I didn't look enough like I own a bike as much as they act like they have a job there!! After nearly a half hour I found a hat, waited at the checkout counter for five minutes (no other customers were in the shop!!) and I was asked the first question since I'd been there; "Do you want to buy that??" So it only cost me $20 to find out it was a waste of gas to stop by there. If all Harley shops are like this I'm gonna ghost ride my bike off a cliff on the coast and buy a HONDA!!!!!! read more

I am a huge HD lover... so naturally, i buy everything I can afford at Rohnert Park HD. I love that if I need something special, I get it... the last time I shopped there, I bought a jacket that was a little snug in the shoulder... so I wanted to exchange it for another style. Sherry took excellent care of me... she found the jacket I wanted in San Jose and had it shipped to the Rohnert Park store. When it arrived 3 days later, she called me twice to make sure I knew my jacket was there for me! She knew how excited I was to get it... when I tried it on, I was super happy... she was so nice to go the extra mile and make me feel cared about. I also asked her to set aside a can of pig spit for my bike... and it was waiting for me when i got there! Yep - I hugged her. I can't wait to buy my chaps from her next! Also*** Walter is the best parts guy on the planet! That dude takes the best care of us - anything we need - he knows his stuff!!! He knows where to find it, where to get it and where it goes... I will wait in a big line, and let people go in front of me if it means I can have him help me! Everyone I know feels the same about him :) read more

Phil, your team is wonderful and top notch, again you have taken great care of my bike and I believe the problem is now solved. I can't express enough to you how I believe your team has embraced the customer service and satisfaction motto and live it daily and for that I thank you. "Thank you Derek,Matt,Jeff, Walter,Terry, Kathy,Ron and Emillio", you are all wonderful down to earth and friendly people and I never feel pressured or un welcomed when I stop in or have service done. Phil Ive read those comments below from others and I will say publicly "I'm an Army Veteran, 23 years Active duty and a disabled combat vet, outstanding customer service with a smile will trump a 10% or military discount any day of the week for me, another words I would rather pay full price and have outstanding customer service than a discount and no service. Please to all, keep up the great work because I don't believe in giving up on anything or anyone. You can't improve on perfection, your the best. My first issue is when I took my bike in for the first service. It came back with the side covers not fully attached and greasy hand prints all over it. The second time I came in for some new handle bars and front turn signals. The lights were crooked and they did not tighten down the seat bolt and it came out on my next ride and I had to bailing wire it down. I would never trust these guys to work on my bike again! I recently ordered a headlight and waited over a month. I never received a call. When I called to check on it they were busy and needed to call me back. I never got a call back. When I called again, Jesus informed me that they had called and left a message and his attitude was like it was my fault. No apologizes, nothing. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Their are plenty of Harley Dealerships that will treat you right just not this one. read more

We have been part of the Harley Davidson family for years. We used to frequent this establishment when It was called Michael's HD. We have been back twice now to look at upgrading to a newer bike. Sadly, none of the sales people were interested in giving us the time of day. One of the "sales" men, couldn't even get off his rear to walk with us to look at bikes... We used to drive all the way from Fort Bragg, Ca. To "Michael's, we always received the best service and attention. We will never go back and we will be certain to tell all the folks in our riding club and beyond to go else where. So sad to lose such a great store owner to have it replaced with people who just don't give a damn whether your there or not. By the way, you lost out on a very, very nice sale Sonoma County Harley Davidson, a very nice sale. Your loss, is now someone else's benefit, As well as a now loyal customer. read more

What a GREAT staff , from the Owner to Tristin/Trustin and everyone else I encountered wonderful informed service, I watched and listened as they really took care of every customer I saw at the counter. As it happened I was at an adjoining business and happen to .... Roll in in my wheelchair, I used to ride a lot and miss it very much. As I was looking around they noticed the quick turning and acceleration of my electric wheelchair, I explained I couldn't use leggings in the wheelchair van for turning radius. I couldn't believe the kindness they helped me put a foot peg that I can use and still have the same radius for maneuverability .. My chair is fast from 0 to 5 after that I've got nothing! Which brings me to the point of putting in a good word for everybody at the Cotati location. If you want to see some real speed on the horizon of new bikes "LiveWire" will be premiered there October 2 through October 4th , I would highly recommend going there for the experience ... Of seeing the new superbike and also the great staff at the Cotati location is unparalleled when my friends drive through from Canada they always make it a point to stop there. " LIVEWIRE " read more
