One of the things I love about SC Harley is they have kept the same staff for years. I had to pick a department for this review, and in this instance I'd purchased parts, but it goes for the entire team. I have ridden for years, and done business with them as did my father. I love when you walk in and it feels like Cheers, everyone knows your name. If they don't have what you want, they will find it and I've always found them to be honest, competitively priced, consistent, and they have a personal touch. I went in once and they asked me when was the last time I'd checked my tire pressure, and had me go around back and check it and gave me a lesson in inspecting your bike prior to riding. That kind of service is unheard of in this day and age and I will always try and support them. read more

I went into the store to purchase some bike riding clothes. My boyfriend had recently purchased a new bike. Danielle, the person working there was EXTREMELY rude and condescending to me. She ignored me at first, until I finally asked for help and then she acted like it was the end of the world just answering a few questions. I walked out and I will NEVER go back! I went to Sonoma Harley to get a new battery. They talked me into an expensive Lithium battery and said it would last longer and could be recharged more. It was BAD advice. I left the lights on one time and it killed the expensive battery and the warranty did not cover it, after only 3 months life. I am going back to the lead battery that will actually recharge when you leave the lights on; and will go somewhere else to service my Harley's. read more

How refreshing! This new ownership of the Harley Davidson dealership just happened a few months ago. I refrained from writing an earlier review to be sure the ownership change was going to be a positive one. I was happy to see that the new owners retained the previous staff. Each time I go to the dealership, for either parts or service, clothes or to just look at the new bikes, I have been completely satisfied by the friendly and helpful staff. I also appreciate the longer hours and addition of being open on Sundays! I was a loyal customer to the previous dealership, and I'm more satisfied then ever at the new dealership changes and improvements. My father passed away suddenly in January and left behind a 1997 Dyna Wide Glide convertible that had been sitting in his garage for three years without being ridden. Having spent many miles on the back of that bike with him, Dad wanted me to have it. We knew it needed a lot of work, so at the end of June, we had it towed from Antioch to Sonoma County Harley Davidson (where we live). I am commenting on their clothing business, not motorcycle. A shirt was received as a birthday gift with a gift receipt Upon finding out it did not fit, and getting the receipt, we attempted to return it. When we returned it on day 39, it was said that only a 75% credit would be given because of a 30 day return policy. Despite pointing out that the gift receipt had no notice on it about 30 days and that 30 days is unreasonable in a gift giving situation, a full credit was refused. The shirt is still brand new with all tags on it. There was no demand by us for cash, only a 100% credit. read more

Jeffrey was great - attentive but not pushy and wanted to help, In my business there is a sticker that sets behind my cash registrar for the sales people to read It says "MEAN PEOPLE SUCK" So I was happy to be treated with respect, so your other reviews of never judge a customer by its cover hit me on that level, as he was very professional. Also Derick although a little hesitant in the beginning came around with a smile and put a deal together. The whole experience put a positive spin back on my shoulders and made me feel as if the trust between buyer and seller could be achieved as I had lost that feeling when it was the previous dealer. I'm writing this also as to Jeff A. went out of his way to come to come out and help me start my bike today. (Which by the way for your other sales people was a simple stupid thing - I did not have it in neutral), and Ive owned a lot of Harley s over 60 yrs. I walked in there with over $5000 cash in my pocket looking for leather, bags, cold weather gear and other accessories for my bike. Maybe I didn't look enough like I own a bike as much as they act like they have a job there!! After nearly a half hour I found a hat, waited at the checkout counter for five minutes (no other customers were in the shop!!) and I was asked the first question since I'd been there; "Do you want to buy that??" So it only cost me $20 to find out it was a waste of gas to stop by there. If all Harley shops are like this I'm gonna ghost ride my bike off a cliff on the coast and buy a HONDA!!!!!! read more

My first issue is when I took my bike in for the first service. It came back with the side covers not fully attached and greasy hand prints all over it. The second time I came in for some new handle bars and front turn signals. The lights were crooked and they did not tighten down the seat bolt and it came out on my next ride and I had to bailing wire it down. I would never trust these guys to work on my bike again! I recently ordered a headlight and waited over a month. I never received a call. When I called to check on it they were busy and needed to call me back. I never got a call back. When I called again, Jesus informed me that they had called and left a message and his attitude was like it was my fault. No apologizes, nothing. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN!! Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Their are plenty of Harley Dealerships that will treat you right just not this one. read more

I am a huge HD lover... so naturally, i buy everything I can afford at Rohnert Park HD. I love that if I need something special, I get it... the last time I shopped there, I bought a jacket that was a little snug in the shoulder... so I wanted to exchange it for another style. Sherry took excellent care of me... she found the jacket I wanted in San Jose and had it shipped to the Rohnert Park store. When it arrived 3 days later, she called me twice to make sure I knew my jacket was there for me! She knew how excited I was to get it... when I tried it on, I was super happy... she was so nice to go the extra mile and make me feel cared about. I also asked her to set aside a can of pig spit for my bike... and it was waiting for me when i got there! Yep - I hugged her. I can't wait to buy my chaps from her next! Also*** Walter is the best parts guy on the planet! That dude takes the best care of us - anything we need - he knows his stuff!!! He knows where to find it, where to get it and where it goes... We have been part of the Harley Davidson family for years. We used to frequent this establishment when It was called Michael's HD. We have been back twice now to look at upgrading to a newer bike. Sadly, none of the sales people were interested in giving us the time of day. One of the "sales" men, couldn't even get off his rear to walk with us to look at bikes... We used to drive all the way from Fort Bragg, Ca. To "Michael's, we always received the best service and attention. We will never go back and we will be certain to tell all the folks in our riding club and beyond to go else where. So sad to lose such a great store owner to have it replaced with people who just don't give a damn whether your there or not. What a GREAT staff , from the Owner to Tristin/Trustin and everyone else I encountered wonderful informed service, I watched and listened as they really took care of every customer I saw at the counter. As it happened I was at an adjoining business and happen to .... Roll in in my wheelchair, I used to ride a lot and miss it very much. As I was looking around they noticed the quick turning and acceleration of my electric wheelchair, I explained I couldn't use leggings in the wheelchair van for turning radius. I couldn't believe the kindness they helped me put a foot peg that I can use and still have the same radius for maneuverability .. My chair is fast from 0 to 5 after that I've got nothing! Which brings me to the point of putting in a good word for everybody at the Cotati location. If you want to see some real speed on the horizon of new bikes "LiveWire" will be premiered there October 2 through October 4th , I would highly recommend going there for the experience ... Of seeing the new superbike and also the great staff at the Cotati location is unparalleled when my friends drive through from Canada they always make it a point to stop there.
