Unfortunately, the salesman said that mattress would not be in stock for a month. Since we really needed a bed sooner than that, we bought a different mattress, another of their series of Ashley Sleep Essentials, that was next up in price. It was all delivered a few days later, and set up for us. After sleeping on it for two nights, we realized that we were falling into a hole in the middle of it. We looked under the bed and saw several pieces of wood that looked as if they were legs under the middle of the bed, but they were lying at funny angles and some were just lying on the floor. We called the store and were told a technician would come in about a week to look at it. That tech finally arrived, said that it was obviously broken, that he would order what was needed to fix it, and then it would be repaired in about two weeks. About six weeks after we had bought the bed, it was repaired. Some screws had been left out of the original piece of frame and some were not properly in their holes, but the new frame seemed to be good. After about eight weeks with the bed, we realized that each of us was lying in a fairly deep depression by the time we woke up in the morning. We had specified that we did not want a memory foam mattress or top of the mattress because we had had that problem with our old bed. We had been assured this mattress did not have memory foam. We later learned that it had a section of lumbar support made of memory foam which seems to be what is causing the depressions in the bed. It is very uncomfortable. We are very unhappy with our experience with Ashley. We do not intend to ever buy anything from them again.

We have worked with several Bullfrog dealers in other locations and have always found them excellent with sales, install, and most importantly, service. This company fails abysmally not just in service but basic communication. Our swim spa was installed Dec 5th. It arrived full of rain water, was missing several key components, and we were given no instructions nor training on its function. Once it was set in place we were literally on our own for getting it set up, filled, and operational. They had forgotten the cover lifters and it took several weeks and two tries for those to arrive and be installed properly. Management did address our frustrations initially which we appreciated but unfortunately things have not changed. It's taken almost two months to get an answer about getting the matching steps. Not to mention we still don't have accessories we purchased months ago. Last month the touch control pad failed so we have lost much functionality on our brand new spa. Took a couple weeks to even get someone to look at it and while we were assured the part would be ordered priority our repair appointment passed without a word. It took three phone calls and two emails on my part to discover the part is back ordered. The issue is still unresolved. We do understand supply chains are still disrupted and try to be understanding consumers. However there is nothing like purchasing an expensive product and getting terrible customer service to sour you on the experience. Unfortunately Paradise Valley Spas has a monopoly on the Bay Area so if you want a dealer who will have competitive pricing. respond promptly, or at all, we recommend looking outside of the area.

Longer version: I work at least a 40 hour work week from my home office (in addition to other work commitments). So WFH is a very real role that I have equipped the home office for - dual wide-screen monitors, standing desk, studio monitoring for audio, the real deal. What has been lacking is my desk chair: an older tired off-brand that just gets by. A far cry from the Herman Miller Aeron I enjoy at my work office in Kentfield. So when the home chair finally broke (the back height adjustment won't stay), it was time to start internet-shopping. I looked at Branch, Autonomous, Madison Seating, Hinomi...and of course that quickly led to being served up all sorts of brands I'd never heard of. This led to countless YouTube "expert" recommendations and the like. Isn't this the way of all shopping online these days? Finally too confused, I happened by chance to be in Rohnert Park one weekend (my wife and I were going to a concert at Sonoma State), and saw the Office Furniture Interiors & Design store early Sunday evening. They were closed, but I saw through the window they had several of the models that came really highly recommended online...the Haworth Fern, the Steelcase Gesture, the Herman Miller Embody...and several of the Aerons (that I already use at work, see above). I finally called them a few weeks later. Benjamin answered the phone (I think he's the owner) and we had a wonderful phone conversation - intelligent, professional, insightful - and I find out this company provides the chairs for my employer (!), and odds are the Aeron I'm sitting in at work was probably purchased from these guys. The next week I drive all the way up to Rohnert Park and end up being greeted by Benjamin. He then spends the better part of an hour with me, helping locate the best choices for my needs, recommending I stay with particular brands for very sensible reasons, and helps me narrow down my choices. Truth be told, all of these top of the line chairs feel different from each other, significantly so. There really isn't a way to ensure you're making the best choice without spending time sitting in them. Benjamin explained all of the options and adjustments in great detail, for each chair, and then let me spend time sitting and adjusting, rocking and tweaking, and getting used to each. Just the right balance of expert advice, complete product information, and let-you-do-you spend some quality time. I ended up going with a Herman Miller Embody chair (at a great price), and could not be happier. I may sound like a shill, but I know that the chair you spend so many hours working in can change your life - for better or worse. If you're in the market for a WFH chair, really looking to upgrade the "cockpit", you ought to consider making the trek up to Rohnert Park. You won't regret it.

The place seemed a bit run down and very different from photos other Yelpers posted 3+ yrs ago. We walked around for a good 20 minutes, no one was there or came out to help us. The prices on everything had faded. Finally I heard a radio sound coming from the office and I went in and asked the guy if he could help us. He came out, plugged the fountains into the electric socket and went back into his office, lol. So this time we looked at the fountains that were working. A few under the roof still had legible price tags but I couldn't understand why 2 fountains of the same size varied in price so much. Unfortunately the gentleman working there didn't speak much English. I ended up buying a small fountain and I got my sister a pretty turquoise bird bath which I got a good price for since the glaze was peeling. My fountain makes more of a clopping sound when water goes through that's why I put stones. Maybe that's why some of the same fountains were more expensive, the cut outs are a little different as these seem hand made and they make different waterfall sounds. It was hard to tell when they were all on at the place. But I'm happy with my little fountain.
