I usually like this Sonic, as it is close to my home. I ordered a foot long chili cheese and onion coney with large tots and a diet coke, and I wanted to try the "crazy" fries. I ordered a small to try, and also ordered 2 corn dogs. They got the order wrong on the screen and I had to repeat several times. When my food came, I asked for some mustard for my corn dogs. She returned with a handful of ketchup. and left so fast, I couldn't correct her, so I drove off. I only live a mile from the location but when I got home, my footlong was COLD, my tots were greasy and COLD, the crazy fries were cold. My tots had fragments of crazy fries and regular fries in the box. All in all a disappointing lunch. didn't think about returning with the cold mess because it's hard enough to get a civil employee when ordering let alone complaining about a bad order. Took 20 minutes to get food. I work at a sonic near here and our motto is 'out the door in under four' which means, cooking, bagging and taking the order out is all within four minutes (preferably). The place is dirty and unkept, plants half dead and grass is overgrown. Only one carhop is consistently taking out orders, most of the carhops aren't using trays except one (which it is policy to have a tray in hand even if all you have is a sauce). No carhops wearing headsets which is required. No carhops wearing name tags which is required. If they ever get mystery shoppers they are getting a 0. read more

I order the same item every time I go to Sonic, whatever the location. THIS Sonic is the ONLY one where you can get a BLT done to right way... it's perfect every time, including butter on the toast. It's also the only location where you can get a properly made grilled cheese... every other Sonic you'll only get something like "cheesy-toasty-bread", with not even butter on the bread. Frustrating. Additionally, while there may have been some issues at this Sonic in the past, their newer workers seem to get it. Friendly, hard workers. My server was Elisa. Very professional, pleasant lady with a great work ethic and smile to go with it. Elisa and the cook "Terry" who gets the credit for the best BLTs around. Got complaints? Ok. But remember, these are people trying to make it, just like you. And when something goes right... speak up about those people as well. Consider it a challenge. read more

I mobile ordered a slush and a 2 for $5 burger and frito wrap deal. I got there at 6:55pm to pick it up, they brought it right out, I left. I got about two blocks away when I noticed my burger was missing, so I went right back, pushed the button, told them my burger was missing. What I'm assuming was the manager came out, since he was dressed in normal clothes, no name tag though. He dips under my mirror and get between the order board and my pickup and leans in through my window and was like "what's the problem?" I told him the issue, he asked to see the receipt, he read it and let out an "ughh, sorry we got a lot of mobile orders." I said, "well you always get a lot of mobile orders though don't you?" He said, "yeah, do you need anything else from me?" I told him "just want my burger." To which he replied "We'll get that right out," and walked away. I waited about 15 minutes, pushed the button again and said "I'm still waiting on my burger." The lady said "uhhh, what kind of burger was it again?" I waited another 12 minutes before they finally send out a kid with it who says "sorry for the wait." The manager didn't come and apologize for the 30 total minute wait time for a friggin burger. My frito wrap was cold and the Fritos were soggy by then, and my slush was melted. I was super disappointed by this experience. And I think it was super inappropriate for the manger to get so close to me by getting between the order board and my truck and leaning in. I would have pressed to get my whole order remade if I knew it was going to take so long, but by the end I just wanted to get home and eat. Then when I was leaving the employees where hanging out in back, they had a car and a pickup parked behind the building and if you know the 57th street Sonic, there's very little room to begin with, so I waited for the employees to move, but they didn't, so I had to squeeze through very slowly with my big truck, and they just stood there and watched me. It seems like there are no actual adults there. The manager was a tall skinny black guy that looked to be about 23, and the rest looked like high school kids, and they obvious do whatever they want. Terrible experience here today. I'm a 38 year old guy who hates making reviews, but I hate seeing this sonic slide this far downhill more. They need bring in somebody with experience and who can get this place into shape, quick! Even The outside of the building and windows were filthy! the glass door was plywood because the glass was busted. I can only imagine the inside and kitchen. I was a waitress. I understand the runnings of a kitchen. I do not understand six cooks standing in a huddle while people sit for 10 minutes just to place an order. 2 ice cream cones, 1 cup of ice cream, a milkshake, and a slushy. Cars that came in after us were served and left. With 2 kids who were well behaved for the first part ... Ordering. 15 minutes of having to be still ... after being quiet and still in school all day! Yeah, that didn't go over to well. In frustration, we left, had second thoughts and returned to wait another 20 minutes and then be told the slushy machine was down! This place is managed poorly! If you have patience and time...This Sonic is for you. I will not be returning. They are worse than the Sonic on Marlandwood! Sonic is about to lose me to Dairy Queen...it will be worth the traffic and gas though...may save money not idling in the hot sun for so long! Better ice cream options too! read more

Horrible. We ordered and ate at home. Not even enough mustard to moisten the bread. Buns are not even heated. We live less than 5 minutes from this place. Everything is cold. Since my original review two years ago, this Sonic had improved vastly. Service is much quicker, especially during busy times. Servers are very friendly. One question, when you get an added flavor to the drink, why don't they stir it in instead of leaving it as a sweet syrup at the bottom? Every time I go here they are horrible at making their sonic blast. I even ask and pay for them to put extra candy into it because they are so stingy with it. Went today paid for more and there's actually less than usual! It's like I asked for vanilla ice cream for all of them! Waste of money! Got my order wrong. I realized it when I got home. When I went back to get the $2 hot dog, they wouldn't give it to me without seeing the receipt, saying "sorry that's our company policy".
