Out of all of the restaurants here that specialize in Mexican food, it's just hands down the best. Believe me, I've tried almost all of them. The carnitas here are absolutely delicious, and served at a nice amount in Tacos and Carnitas plates. The shrimp tacos, taco salads, etc are also very good. The chimichangas are delicious as well. I've had them with both carnitas & shredded chicken. They do not disappoint! I do wish they would bring bank the fried shrimp tacos, they were so good! The margaritas are also very good. The watermelon one is amazing!! The service is always good and the atmosphere is fun and comfortable. There is also outside dining which is nice. This location has become our go-to in the area for relaxed and fun date nights. Also great for lunch!

I definitely recommend La Caretta! Breanna was our wonderful server, so friendly right off the bat! Loved that she had an assortment of colorful pens to sign our check lol!! She complimented my eyebrows and 3 mins later she brought out another beautiful server to compliment them as well! This made my whole day! The ground beef enchiladas were delicious, salsa verde on top. I'm picky with my enchiladas and these were exactly what I was hoping for! The music is so great! 3 songs in a row that I love, made the experience very comfortable and fun! Thank you La Caretta for an amazing lunch on my trip!

My drink was strong and everyone loved the free chips and salsa...except the aunts who didn't like cilantro, but WHO DOESNT LIKE CILANTRO?!?! :-) I loved hearing the loved band, Bang Bang! It's a great place for family and groups. We enjoyed all of our entrees. I made reservations for 10 people and they had the table ready in the best spot to see the band. Customer service is a dying art in some places but not here. We all felt well taken care of. Those three things will keep me coming back and bringing a group along with me.

La Carreta had three birria tacos with the broth on their menu for $18, which I thought was a great deal. I ordered to go, so I placed my order on the phone, since the online way wasn't working for some reason. I got the birria tacos with a small chips and queso. My order was waiting for me at the bar, so I didn't even have to wait. It was also packed tightly due to the broth being in there. The birria tacos were so good! I can't believe I have never had them before. Three was the perfect amount and there was so much broth, so I could dip my tacos in there multiple times. The chips also filled the bag and came with salsa. I wasn't a huge fan of the queso and salsa. To me, the salsa needed to be a bit spicy and the queso was too thick, but I didn't microwave it, which could have been why. The chips were delicious. I will be back for more of my birria tacos cravings and this great deal!

Small menu. My biggest disappointment is the portion of steak I was originally served. If you want to serve 2oz portions of meat then put the meat actually in the enchiladas.
