I've always heard different things about this place and my brother finally drug me in to try. There's many tables around the restaurant, plenty of seating. Walk in, and it's much like subway. Tell them what kind of pizza you want or watch them build your own behind a glass in front of the "oven" of which it's cooked. They give you the little number on the tall stand to put at your table and your food is brought out to you. Staff is nice and super fast! I barely had time to get my beer and sit down before my pizza was brought to me, that was a plus to the 5 stars as well. The toppings on this pizza was so tasty I was blown away. As she was making it I was thinking wow that's not much sauce, really lacking cheese as well. But eating it, very satisfied! Also they have a few options of beer on tap which is nice. If I could, I would leave zero stars for my review. My husband and I are regular customers at Your Pie, so much so that staff know that I have to order gluten-free for allergies. At approximately 1:30 p.m. yesterday, my husband and I went to Your Pie for lunch. My husband and I are regulars at Your Pie, staff know that I have to order gluten-free for allergies pizza. As soon as staff saw me, they told me that I could not order a gluten-free for allergies pizza because they do not make gluten-free pizza on Fridays. Staff said that they expected a rush on pizza orders on Fridays, but it did not happen. As my husband and I glanced around the practically empty restaurant, we noticed that there was approximately four people dining in, no pizzas in the oven, and the employees were just standing around waiting for customers to arrive. Well, waiting for customers who were not ordering gluten-free pizza for allergies to arrive. When I replied that I would have to go to another establishment for lunch, staff kept harping on about how they expected a lot of customers on Fridays, and they did not know what happened. One staff went to the back of the restaurant to ask the owner if they could make me a pizza because the pizza rush did not happen; however, the owner told the staff that they were not making gluten-free pizza for allergies on Fridays. The owner was inflexible and intend on holding out for the pizza rush. I was offered a voucher to return on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, but I declined it. If my business to a practically empty restaurant was not welcomed on a Friday, I decided that it is not welcomed on another day. To their credit, the staff repeatedly apologized to me. However, apologies did not fill my stomach. After being turned away, my husband and I left the restaurant. We drove to White Bowl, and we were not turned away there. I was kind of skeptical when I told my sister I would meet her here. I decided to give it a try since I saw they had whole wheat crust. I try to make healthier choices. I've been to "fast food" pizza places before. While they're okay I never really thought them to be great. This one was really good though. They cook the pizza in a wood fire oven. The taste is impeccable. They also have a pretty great selection of beer with some great ones on tap. I ate here on a Friday evening. I like the concept where you walk up to the counter, view all the ingredients and create your own pizza. OR you can order from the menu combinations created for you. The menu was very clean. Once you order and pay they bring your order out to you. The servers were average. I created my own pizza: Wheat crust, marinara, NO cheese, ham, chicken, banana peppers, olives, mushrooms, oregano, & basil. I thought the pizza was OK. The crust held its crunch and was not soggy which was good. I just wish some of the toppings were more fresh and not from the can. This place was desperately needed. I came in for the peach prosciutto which is the special right now and boy it did not disappoint. The place is small but it was exciting to actually see the fire oven when you walked in. Being a new restaurant in the middle of their soft opening the place was a bit crazy. Pizza was okay and I definitely liked the fact they have a lot of options to choose from.
