Building itself is dilapidated. Not clean on the inside. Since the front was dirty I was wondering how bad it was in the kitchen! Went in at 11am. I had just arrived from California and was looking for something light to eat. So when I decided on a pizza, I called Redfish. Got too late to cook dinner so we got 2 pies & a salad to feed our group of 4. We devoured all the pizza because it was so good. We did a make your own with andouille and mushroom and chicken pesto. Loved the crust and how they got the cheese nice and toasted on top. Will definitely try other things next time I'm in Houma. read more

The very best pizza we have found in these parts. Service is great and it is our favorite place for pizza when we are in Houma.

The first time I ordered here I was very new to town and it's very close to where I moved to. I ordered 2 of the personal pizzas for pick up (all meats and supreme minis elk peppers). Place is old, could use an update. The vibe doesn't scream pizza joint. However, I loved the thin crusts and toppings. All in all around $20 because the prices listed online where incorrect. Online prices were lower than what was charged. I also left small tip though I picked up. That was fine because we did enjoy the 2 personal pizzas. Next time I ordered was a couple months later by delivery and I ordered a large supreme minus bell peppers, hand tossed because there was an upcharge for thin (usually that's reserved for pan pizzas). All in all around $32 with tip. Once I opened box we were immediately disappointed, barely any toppings. Literally 4 pieces of onion on the entire supreme. The meats were VERY sparse as if they were being rationed during a Great Depression. I took a bite while it was hot and all I could taste was dough and bland cheese. We had to take the barely there toppings and gather them from the entire pizza to put on 2 slices so that I could actually feel like I had pizza slices with toppings. We threw the remaining slices away. Waste of an entire pizza. Not sure I'll order here again unless I order thin crust and pick up the pizza so I can examine it before I leave. read more

I had to ask the lady to come take our order after us sitting here at least 15 mins. Only one waitress in here, that's the problem. Guy in the back is more worried about the LSU game than work. This was quite possibly the worst pizza I have ever encountered. Crust not cooked in the center. Toppings looked pretty good. A frozen pizza from Walmart trumps this by far. As a guy that frequents thru Houma often for work, I'm always on the lookout for something new. Well this place has a great Cajun twist on pizza. Gumbo on a pizza!!??!? I am SOOOOOO glad I tried it because it'll surprise you how good the flavors blend together with their sauce. We have also had a number of other pizzas from their menu which have never disappointed. Complicated with great waitress why wouldn't you give them a shot? While the decor is so so, r i there to really look at the walls or enkoy some good food? First time customer and I'm positive it's my last. Probably the worse pizza I've ever eaten in a restaurant or take out. Absolutely no flavor whatsoever. Ive has more taste in a DiGiorno's or Totino's .99 cent frozen pizza. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and a large pepperoni. Pizza in Louisiana? We ducked into this spot to get out of the pouring rain and we were glad we did. Some of the pizzas were quite unusual and that's a good thing if you are bored with the same ole flavors. I got a mini redfish pizza and boy was it tasty. The crust was thin and crispy. There are several ways to customize a pie, which is always welcome at a pizza parlor. Our server was really nice. The food came out really fast. You can tell that this is higher quality pizza than the big chains. Definitely glad to have this place in the city. This is the only pizza restaurant where I really enjoy the beef topping. it does not have the spongy texture and weak flavor imparted by textured vegetable protein loaded beef most places use.The cheese is great, and there is usually a healthy portion on our pizzas. There are a few dings that lower the score, though. The sauce is somewhat bland, and is applied in such a light layer that it's mostly undetectable. The crust is somewhat lacking in flavor, as if it were fresh made and not allowed proper time to develop flavor. Additionally, It doesn't cook well. Often, the bottom is floppy, almost soggy. You can get par-baked crust which alleviates this to an extent, but then the edges get overdone and it's like trying to eat obsidian. That's my experience with the pizza game. Now let's talk about calezones. They are delicious, and loaded with toppings. The crust, unlike with the pizza, doesn't get floppy on the underside, and seems to have more developed flavor. I wonder if they are using different types of dough for the pizzas and the calzones? Even though the place is lacking in some areas, the pizza is, as I mentioned, clearly of higher quality than the big chains. That is a big plus. This place is worth visiting. Pro tip 1 - Always order your pepperoni on top. It needs to be in contact with the dry heat to properly develop flavor. Pro tip 2 - Tell them not to cut your pizza. The grease and juices from toppings will sink through and soak the bottom of the crust. This helps alleviate the floppy crust mentioned above. Pro tip 3 - Be sure to get some of their sun dried tomato sauce on the side. It is bursting with flavor, and will brighten any pizza, calzone, or pasta you get. read more

I saw the great reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try, even with the sketchy motel in the back. Nevertheless, my friend and I went in to give it a try. It looks like an old chain restaurant that's been converted into an independent pizzeria. My pizza was good, the service was friendly, and the menu is broad with plenty of specialty pizzas. My dining companion also enjoyed their variety of salad dressings, which were made in house. If you don't want Cajun while in Houma, this is a phenomenal option. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE Redfish Pizza! I forgot to check in here a couple nights ago but wanted to update my review. There isn't a single thing on the menu that I haven't liked. My favorite is the corcoifi. Had a basketball playoff game and the crew wanted a place to eat. This place was close to the school so we stopped and the moment we walked in we knew it was going to be good. The atmosphere made it feel like home and there were many locals having a few drinks and pizza. They welcomed us like we were one of them, we all had different things. I had the mesquite pizza and I was really shocked how delicious it was. My partner had the lasagna and it looks absolutely amazing. I will start off with saying that the wait staff at Redfish Pizza were very nice. The food came out sooner than we expected. I had the redfish pizza with crab and shrimp. I liked it although my wife did not. She also did not like her calzone. She ordered a calzone with light pepperoni, mushrooms, and extra cheese.
