All the flavors we tried were delicious including the chocolate with habanero, bourbon butter pecan (SO good), candy bar bomb, and key lime pie. Really good quality ice cream, loved their sign saying what unhealthy things they don't include in their ice cream, like artificial food colorings. Texture of the ice cream was perfect and flavors were high quality, and the price was cheaper than I expected. Check this place out!

Pretty straight forward in letting us know free samples were offered and showed waffle cones. Scoops were generous. [Ice Cream] wow! Definitely can taste they use a homemade premium cream base, not a singular taste of any ice. Almost custard like because it was so rich. I tried banana pudding (very banana but the fresh natural kind) and root beer float (tasted exactly like the name!!). I got German chocolate cake (vegan & gluten free) and Chocolate Chunk Brownie. My friends got vanilla and peanut butter fudge with caramel. We all Kept going back for more. German chocolate cake was one of the maybe three vegan options. It was very decadent and honestly I have no idea how this was vegan. It was as rich and creamy as the non vegan ones. Happily not icey at all!! Unlike other vegan ice creams. There was a quite a bit of coconut shavings in each bite. Definitely an amazing vegan chocolate flavor - vegan ice cream makers need to take note! Chocolate Chunk Brownie was extremely rich. It said it had brownie chunks and chocolate chips. However, after getting 2 servings of it - there was no brownie in sight. Which disappointed me along with I wish it was a more deep chocolate taste. Vanilla was definitely rich and creamy. Waffle cone was sweeter than others. I think they added extra vanilla - absolutely one of the best waffle cones I ever had! [seating and shoppe] outdoor seating that was shady in the eving perfect for a summer evening. Interior had seating and paper towel rolls. Beautiful bright colors inside. [overall] definitely a rich creamy homemade base to the ice cream flavors. I went back for seconds!

Tucked into the heart of the charming little town of Calico Rock--where Main Street still feels…read morelike a scene from a simpler time--you'll find a local gem that's well worth the detour: The Printing Press Café. This cozy spot is everything you want in a small-town café--warm, welcoming, and filled with the kind of smells that make you wish biscuits counted as a food group (and here, they just might). Housed in what was once the town's original newspaper office, the café beautifully blends history with hospitality. While you wait for your food, you can browse vintage photos and clippings that tell the story of Calico Rock's past--think of it as breakfast with a side of nostalgia. Now let's talk food--specifically the biscuits and gravy. Mercy. Fluffy, golden biscuits smothered in rich, peppery gravy that's clearly made with love (and maybe a bit of magic). It's the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. The rest of the menu is solid comfort food done right--generous portions, great flavor, and prices that'll make your wallet just as happy as your stomach. Add to that a staff that treats you like family (the kind you actually want to see), and you've got yourself a true small-town treasure. If you're passing through Calico Rock--or heck, even remotely nearby--make sure to stop in. The Printing Press Café isn't just a meal, it's an experience with heart, history, and heavenly gravy.
