After a long day at the lake one can imagine the need to squelch the intense hunger pains. The restaurant is right off the main road for easy access. Its a fairly sized restaurant giving a wanna-be like Cracker Barrel feel. The wait staff is friendly and complete the home like feel. Here is where I was introduced into a true southern buffet. Complete with seafood down to homemade pies. They even had frog legs! The buffet stood out among others with selection, but more importantly with how good the food was! It tasted as if I had specifically ordered what was piled on my plate as my selection off the menu. The next day I decided to go there once again to see if maybe that experience was hinged on the fact of how hungry I was. I ordered their bacon cheeseburger. To my surprise they brought out this mammoth of a burger with a heaping portion of fries and bacon. It was absolutely delicious! I was in awe the entire time I ate. I will hands down admit that the burger was one of the best burgers I have ever had! I felt like I was eating a burger hot off the charcoal grill back home. After my taste buds were completely blown away i finished the experience with a piece of their chocolate pie. It completed the entire meal and I left the place with a full stomach and a grin a mile wide on my face. I vowed to always visit the place every time I go through Greers Ferry. Bentley's is a well rounded restaurant with food for all ages. They will leave your taste bids wanting more but with no more room in your stomach. It's just ok. I eat here regularly but not bc I crave it. I love the staff and the food is good for the most part. The buffet is too expensive, prob higher than any I've seen. The fish tastes like mud 90% of the time on the buffet. Most the food is good not excellent. Would eat here more if they bought higher grade catfish. But I feel like the dirt fish is saved for buffet fish. read more

After asking the locals where to eat when in Fairfield Bay, we were directed to Bentley's for the seafood buffet. There catfish was delicious and surprisingly fresh for a buffet. It was so good that it didn't sit long in the bar. Their boiled shrimp was a treat as well, it was spicy enough for the adults but calm enough for even our 2 year old. Everyone can find something they like on the buffet, which makes dining with 8 a true miracle! read more

Wonderful ambience. The best prime rib from coast-to-coast. I'm not kidding, I've had prime rib in major cities on both coasts and on both borders, Bentley's has the best prime rib! Seafood buffet is also quite awesome. Good family rest restaurant. Courteous, efficient and sometimes quite amusing staff. A trip to Greers ferry without a stop at Bentleys is like going to the Grand Canyon with blindfold on. We go to Bentley's every week! Seriously! Every Thursday we meet, have lunch (usually one of their delicious specials) and then stay and play bridge in their back room all afternoon! We enjoy their scrumptious seafood buffet occasionally on the weekends. This is a locally owned, very family oriented place where you always feel at home! Literally my favorite place to eat in the entire area. I've been going to greers every summer my whole life and this place is a staple. Their breakfast buffet is off the chain, they have the best breakfast potatoes in the world. They have the kindest staff and the owners are great. I've gotten grilled chicken the past few times I've been and it's always juicy and delicious. We usually eat the buffet at dinner too and even when it's a seafood buffet it doesn't taste like it's sat all day. My whole family loves bentleys. read more

Tastes like everything was frozen first. Way overpriced for such a tiny town. The steaks are always cooked wrong, the fish tastes like mud every time I have tried it. Found hair in my food a few diff times. Only good thing about this place is the staff and the fact that the owner seems to always be there to correct any mistakes. You can tell he loves his business. Very good lunch specials and the Prime Rib on Saturday night is the best Prime Rib I've ever eaten. The only thing I wish was better is the desserts.
