It's right on the highway and it's easy for me to access on my way to and from. The service was fast and friendly, the prices reasonable, and they even have a drive thru. As for the food, it could be better. I ordered an eclair and a danish with my coffee; the taste was good, but it was evident that the pastries were not fresh. Whether they were leftover from the previous day or purchased from Sam's wasn't clear, but it was a disappointment. All of this being said, I'll be back-i'm hoping for improvement on the pastries, and I really want to try their barbecue and burgers.

The pictures on Facebook made the food look really good and we weren't disappointed when we got there. I got the biscuits and gravy with a sausage and over easy egg. My wife tried their special, hashbrowns with bacon and a scrambled egg with cheese. We also finished it off with the cream cheese, cherry cinnamon roll and their regular cinnamon roll and also a caramel cookie. It was all delicious. It was all cooked to our liking and came out very quickly. The staff and management was very friendly. Very serviceable. The place wasn't very large, but it showed rooms to grow. Also very clean as well. If you're going between Conway, Greenbrier and Heber Springs and you're driving through equipment Arkansas, I do suggest you stop there and try their breakfast or from what I heard from other people their hamburgers are really delicious. I'll have to try that another trip which I'm looking forward to.

I called in advance to place an order for a dozen cupcakes for Father's Day weekend and was told to call back next week for a Father's Day promotion. So, I called back the following week and was told to wait until they post about the promotion on Facebook in the next day or two to see the details. I waited several days--no Facebook post. I called the bakery again during their open hours and the phone went to voicemail. At this point, I should have taken this experience as an omen and avoided ordering from them. I ended up reaching someone via FB messenger and they called me back. Their "promotion" cost me $46 for a dozen cupcakes with cake toppers. Yikes! The woman on the phone asked me what type of icing I wanted on the cupcakes. I answered that I would like whatever comes on the flavors already. Unfortunately, white icing was put on all of the cupcakes (wedding cake, strawberry, and chocolate). This is not what I was expecting due to what's advertised on their FB page with different icings on different flavors. The texture of the cupcakes themselves tasted like they had been stored uncovered in a refrigerator for a couple days AKA dry. I was incredibly disappointed that I had spent $46 on twelve dry cupcakes. They looked so much better than they tasted. I've had better cupcakes from a Walmart bakery; I just wanted something special for my family. I will never order from here again.

I called and without hesitation, Robin gave me her cell and told me to call her when I got to Harrison and she would meet me back at the shop. Besides over the top customer service, The Cake Shop created a beautiful cake! I highly recommend.

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the ladies of The Cake Shop…read more The first items I purchased from them were for my wedding and they were very kind and helpful with the ideas that I threw their way. I ordered a two-tiered, round cake with frosted ruffles. It turned out exquisite, besides the fact that I told them the wrong color. I should have said pink and not salmon! Oops! We also ordered a grooms cake from them that was decorated to look like a Razorback's face. The cakes were so moist and delicious, and the icing was phenomenal. The two-tiered was chocolate and vanilla with a raspberry frosting and the groom's cake was red-velvet with a cream cheese frosting. I also purchased a two-tiered cake for my sister's baby shower. Upon arrival for pick-up, I noticed that some of the icing had started to sag, but I was running late and told them it would be fine. I drove about two blocks and the entire back-side of the frosting had slipped off. I turned around and they immediately called in one of their decorators, completely re-iced and decorated the cake, and gave me a twenty dollar refund! The cake looked even better than it had before and, needless to say, the cake was a huge hit at the shower and no one minded that I was late! The Cake Shop also sells cookies, cupcakes, etc. throughout the week. My husband stops in frequently after four pm when everything in their display cases and coolers are $5 each. He usually snags a couple dozen chocolate covered strawberries for that price. They always have the most ripe and juicy strawberries. I would encourage you to stop in and give them a try, they are more than welcoming and have amazing products!
