We stopped by for a look see and will plan on returning at some point in the future. Intrigued with the homey feeling as soon as we walked through the door. Sourdough bread, whole bean coffee, espresso coffee, danish and so many other items for sale Unfortunately the had finished baking when we were there but be interesting to watch them in action. This was such a neat find on our roadtrip that is just one minute off the main road in their small downtown area. The bakery is sophisticated, quaint and diverse with its offerings - cold items, baking supplies, cookbooks, baked goods, breads, coffees and teas. We were pleasantly surprised to find some baked goods that we've never seen before such as sourdough cupcakes and almond and port wine plum pastry to name a couple. All that we purchased (pastries, coffee and breads) was delicious and worth the stop. read more

Small charming bread shop in downtown Leslie. Known for sourdough bread, Service is excellent

This is for an online shipping order. Damaged/inedible goods received and returned to sender after a 30-mile delivery took a week over hundreds of miles. When I asked for a refund they could recoup through their carrier insurance included with their shipping method, they refused, called my "threats rude and unproductive" and forbade me from ever contacting them again. No problem. They need a serious reset on their customer service responsibilities and responses. read more

Not good. I ordered bread on 3/2/26. The bread was shipped and arrived very late on 3/17/26. The package looked retaped a couple times and the bread was old and moldy, gross. Almost $50 gone. Dont waste your money. I contacted them by phone and the "service" said they could do nothing. I have emailed them pictures and a note a couple times but no response. Lesson learned. read more

We spotted Serenity Farm Breads while driving through Arkansas and made a mental note to swing by on our way back--and boy, are we glad we did. The place is charming and welcoming, and the baked goods are top-tier. We picked up a chocolate cream brûlée, a biscotti, a cupcake, and a loaf of olive bread--all excellent. Then, in a last-minute impulse buy, I grabbed a muffuletta sandwich... and I'm so glad I did. I'm a sandwich guy, and this one was next-level--perfectly balanced flavors and great bread, of course. Amazing creations. The pastry is the best. I've been going to Serenity Farms for 27 years and love the bread and coffee.

Do you want your stomach to give your mouth a High Five?? Then get to this place and try their danishes! Or their cakes! Or, especially, their breads! When I was there they had a big selection of goodies: several flavors of danishes, carrot cake slices, other cakes, banana bread, cookies, eight or nine different breads, foccacias - all made with sourdough!! And the breads are made in a woodfired brick oven. So cool! We first tried the blueberry-strawberry danish and the cheese danish, which was star shaped. They were both incredibly good - you could really taste the sourdough, but they were most certainly danishes, soft and tender. My favorite was the cheese danish because it had little crispy edges. Good sourdough flavor, icing and lots of filling in both! The pizza focaccia was incredible, and each of the breads that we tried, sunflower-honey, country style and the European rye (wow!) were excellent. Remember, everything is sourdough! That's their thing, and they do it well. This place is kind of in the "middle of nowhere", but if you are anywhere close, one hour, two hours close, go, go, go! Yum, yum, eat 'em up! read more

I was really disappointed in this place. It's a really cute location and looks appealing from the outside. I grew up in Arkansas but now live in Texas. I have always wanted to stop here. I finally did and was so disappointed. It was surrounded with tall weeds and a portion of it was blocked off. Where were all the desserts I have heard of all these years? We bought cranberry pecan bread and it was ok, nothing special, like I had been told their breads were. We also bought some Emily G's jelly which I found out afterwards it's made in Georgia! I happened to come across Serenity Farm Bread's review here on Yelp, just as I was about 15 minutes away from their second location. I was instantly intrigued, as I am a bread lover of all kinds! Their additional location is in a charming yellow house, surrounded by trees and flowers. The employee who was working was very knowledgeable and friendly, and told us a little history about the company & what they offer. As the former reviewer stated, all items are made out of sourdough. They not only had multiple types of bread, but also pastries and a small grocery selection. We ended up trying the cranberry pecan sourdough bread, which was good, but a tad pricey. read more

Great bread! I love this place. They have several types of artisan loaves, foccacia and even cookies. The building is small and cute, with a wood fire oven, I believe. Their bread is made without typical commercial yeast - they have an info sheet that describes this further. The sourdough bread has made every sandwich I have made with it excellent. The cookies were tasty, too. They have a website, and you can have the bread shipped to you, or pick it up at a select few shops in the region. A bit pricey if you typically buy cheap bread, but I think it's worth it. read more

Meh. You know those websites that look so good and tantilizing then you get there and it's no where near as good as the website makes it out to be? That's Serenity Farms. Old, run down, dirty NOTHING like the website looks. The Focaccia is so so, baked goods so so. Counter staff a bit rude. Just a disappointment. After looking at the website and stopping for lunch after a 3 hour drive I wished I'd taken another route and bypassed it all together. Over priced for a thick bread crust with a slight skim of toppings. Don't waste your time or money. Move on down the road. It's not even a good joke at this point. read more

This place has the best bread, and rolls ever. We never fail to stop and buy crescent rolls when heading to Little Rock. Just going into the bakery and watching them work is worth the trip. I can truthfully say I would rather have there day old bread than fresh bread from elsewhere. We stopped on our way home to TX and needed coffee. The advertisement signs say fresh bread but there wasn't any in the store nor did it smell like any was baking so I was a little confused. The products they had were neat which is the only reason I'm giving two stars but they were extremely expensive. $25-30 for a coffee mug and $65 for a rolling pin, granted everything was handmade and considered "very rare" on the tags. We found the lady/attendant to be rather rude. It was a 1.50 per a pump of simple syrup and when I asked how sweet it was, she acted like I was dumb and stated that She "could not gauge that and that it's simple syrup." When I asked if she could make a latte, I got a very Stern "No" and so I asked for 1 pump of syrup and please put cream. My coffee tastes like reused grounds, no taste of Caramel, with a hint of milk. I would hardly say that it's a decent cup of coffee and the service wasn't even worth trying it again. It's unfortunate because I think the place could be great. The other coffee we got was a straight black coffee and it was stated to be the equivalent of a somewhat strong tea. read more

We were on our way to Blanchard Caverns and decided to stop in, it was a great idea! They have WAY more than bread, but the bread is what is worth stopping. It is expensive, loaves can range from $7-12 depending on what you get. They have multiple types of sourdough and foccacia. I got a fruit filled loaf that was absolutely delicious. There are also a variety of pastries for about $4, my favorite was the cheese danish. The workers were friendly and very knowledgeable. Second time to stop. First time left without a purchase. This time while waiting for someone to "show", the owner came in with a fresh delivery. We explained we were waiting for someone to show up to wait on us. He proceeded to shoe us a little sign that said "Holler for help as employees are in the back working." Anyway after a long conversation with the owner, we left with two loaves of bread. And three oatmeal raisin cookies. The bread is good but high priced. The cookies were about the best I have ever had. Overall, interesting place. Understand how difficult it is to survive as a specialty bakery in a little out of the way town and you can appreciate the higher cost. Try it and you will like it. read more

Wonderful is the best way to describe the actual bakery downtown Leslie or the neat store/restaurant on HWY 65. Arrive at the bakery around 11:00 AM for the hot out of the oven Focaccia. Then wait around a little while and purchase the bread right out of the oven. Cranberry Pecan has been our favorite for years, but you won't go wrong with any choice. The dessert Apple Cinnamon is great also. The staff at the bakery and at the restaurant are very friendly and most willing to explain their process for baking and the health benefits. A friend who cannot have Gluten can eat their products without a problem. If you are traveling HWY 65 or the back roads of Arkansas this is so worth the stop!! I promise you will be glad you took a little time out of the trip to stop at either location or both. If I remember correctly they do not bake bread on Wednesday or the weekend. Give them a call and place your order before you get there. In some instances you will be better served if you phone two or three days ahead and reserve your order.
