Went there last night for a quick bite. The positive--onion rings tasty and iced tea good, However the chicken sandwich had to be the worst my wife and I have ever tasted, way overcooked, dry , tasteless, liked it was under the warmer all day, truly horrible. No stars for this review of Sonic in Landen read more

Absolutely terrible service. We ordered on the app parked in the mobile order spot and checked in. We sat there for 12 minutes then had to get out and push the service button on the patio. They told us to go through the drive through really rudely. We then sat in the drive through for another 17 minutes. DON'T visit this sonic terrible. read more

I guess you can't order at the drive in spots anymore...? Lady told me to hit the drive thru and was a total c*nt. They weren't busy at all, completely dead. Makes no sense whatsoever read more

They blocked the drive thru with their personal vehicles. It was 5:30 pm on a Monday. People looked like they were inside working, but i guess that just an easy way to make minimum wage and not have to actually do anything. I should have checked the reviews before i drove here read more

Horrible service. The tall skinny white guy HAND-WROTE MY ORDER and still got it wrong!!!! They in the back laughing and taking so long to make the food, the black guy that works there was so high that he made our drinks twice but only gave us two straws. No napkins, but gave us about 50 ketchup packets. It was a horrible experience and management need to fire everyone and start tf over. Horrible service horrible food. Not worth it. SKIP THIS LOCATION. read more

My corn dogs were still raw with batter coming out of them. It was disgusting. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Worst Sonic. read more

Saturday morning at 10:30, wanted a foot long cheese coney. Haven't had a great Sonic foot long for a long while. First: drive up I pulled into had speaker problem and a nice young man came out to tell me... Second: no outside service, only 2 workers! Third: no chili!!! Who has no chili when it is a popular item on the menu??? read more

On Friday we ordered two breakfast burritos on the app and when we got to the restaurant there wasn't anyone there. The sign said they were open at 7:00 am and it was past 8:00. We still have not gotten our money back even after we called the corporate office. If the restaurant is not open the app should let you know so you can find another place to eat. Sad thing is we even left a tip as our appreciation of their working. read more

Looking forward to the Patty melt w onions on Texas Toast - While good our sandwiches were not on Texas Toast, more like grilled Wonder bread. 2 beef patties, very cheesy on regular sandwich bread. Onion rings were inedible, overcooked, maybe had been sitting there since they opened? AND onion rings reeked of rancid oil. They went right to the garbage. OUR opinion. The sandwiches were fairly good, skip the onion rings, read more

Don't waste your time driving out here, unless you want to be "helped" by a VERY lazy staff. If you can't hire employees diligent enough to do their job, change your hours. read more

The tall man gave me every sauce I asked for and was kind about it. Honestly my first time having such good customer service at a sonic, ever, thus giving it a superior ambiance to all other sonics. Promote this man. read more

Love their drinks, especially Raspberry sweet tea. Love their cream slushes, especially lemon berry (Half price 2-4pm.) Any milkshake or ice cream treat is good, especially Oreo peanut butter. (Half price after 8pm) Do not like their food, & anything that is fried tastes like they never change the oil in the fryer. read more

Terrible service. Terrible employee attitudes all around. Food was meh. Some was burned. Don't come here.

Sat in the drive thru tonight for over 15 minutes and only had 3-4 cars in front of me. Got tired of waiting and drove up to Whipty-Do with two cars ahead of me and was in and out within 5 minutes. read more

Ordered with app. Easy enough to navigate. Took 15 minutes for food to come out. A bit slow for fast food. Ordered onion rings. They ran out of onion rings, @ 8:00 PM on Saturday, and substituted fries that were cold and old. I returned the fries. Replacement was hot but under cooked. Cheeseburger was decent. read more

Would not recommend this location, only reason my family goes here is for a quick slushy. Even that is hit/miss with service. Today I was in line & ordered 3 medium slushies. Now, there was 1 car ahead of me but we both pulled in the line at the same time- after waiting 16 minutes in line & it still not moving we left. This is a very regular thing for this location. I would definitely not recommend ordering through the app, if you do & choose to leave you will not get refunded as I was told they cannot refund in the store what you paid for in the app. read more

We waited for 10 minutes at the drive up station after clicking the button and no one helped us so we went through the drive thru. After waiting around another 10 minutes at the drive thru, they ended up giving us the wrong order. The workers seemed confused and overwhelmed. It was my first time at a sonic and I was highly disappointed. read more

I came here recently for a drink later in the day and it was a pretty good Sonic location. They seemed to be a little short-staffed as there was a decently long line, but the women working there were incredibly friendly and were going as fast as they could. I'm always a sucker for the Sonic drinks (they're always the best). The woman making my drink also asked if I wanted diet syrup because I ordered a diet soda and I really appreciated that attention to detail. Overall, I would definitely come back here. read more

Last time for me at this place. Super slow, all the staff were on their cell phones, all food orders had half full fry containers and double burger was a single patty. Easily the worst managed fast food place I've been too. No more. read more

The worst Sonic I have ever been to. I pushed the button at the order station and sat forever with it blinking red. I ended up leaving and swore I would never go back. However, my kids wanted a slush the other day so I thought I would give them another try. Once again, pulled into a stall, pushed the button and waited. No one took my order. I thought I would try the drive thru instead. Big mistake! Was seriously in the drive thru for 15 minutes before I reached the window. Sat another 8 minutes at the window waiting on my kids' corn dog and mozzarella sticks. Finally got them, took it home and the food was disgusting and cold. Will not go back! Stay away! read more

Pretty good burger, but unfortunately I had to use their restroom. What a train wreck! Total filth. The toilet bowl looks like it hadn't been cleaned - EVER! Discarded hand towels all over the floor. I told an employee who acted like she didn't care. I'll never go here again. read more

We were staying at Great Wolf Lodge near this sonic and the kids wanted ice cream and all the shops were closing so we figured sonic was open let's go there. We are from Indiana and our sonic is fantastic, this sonic however is absolutely horrible. It looks terribly maintained and unclean. The staff were all younger and was coming in and out of the store working on one of the guys cars and vaping. After getting our ice cream orders straightened out I look at the fries we ordered. Dry as a bone, you can tell they were very old. After asking for some fresh ones, the reply was "it will take 10 minutes and we can't under cook them or we can get fired." I know they don't take 10 minutes but I say I don't want them and gave them back. He asked what do I want. I said my money back for the fries. They then give me more fries that you could tell were old but dipped in hot oil again. Absolutely disgusting also. We threw them away and drove off. Terrible service, highly disappointed and don't recommend. read more

Ordered a kids meal in the drive thru. Services was pretty fast and food was correct. My issue was that I didn't receive napkins even after asking. Eating in a car with no napkins is not good. read more

Worst experience in a long time.... I waited almost 20 minutes at the microphone with my little red button flashing before someone finally came over the microphone to take my order, then had to wait an additional 15 minutes for my order to get to me even though I only ordered a number five blt sandwich to find out they're out of tomatoes, so now I'm out $8 for a bacon and lettuce sandwich and my whole lunch wasted for pretty much nothing.... I think the new management needs new management... read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS SONIC! Food was cold. Even after they remade part of the order. Also took 15 minutes to come to the car. Wife's slushy was also melted. If this were my first visit to a Sonic, I would never go back. read more

Typical fast food, but the experience of having someone bring your food to your car is always fun. Sonic does offer a wide variety of fast food options, shakes, drinks, and more. If you go during Happy Hour you can save a couple of bucks, which is a bonus. My personal favorite is the popcorn chicken, because it actually tastes like chicken as opposed to a McDonald's chicken nugget. The staff here is usually very friendly, which is not always the case with these sorts of restaurants. read more

Contacted Corp 800 number. Told me they would contact me from this store. Did Not........... Cooked cheeseburger and other food ahead. The whole purpose of Sonic is not to get dried out meat and hard bun also dried out. Called about the unusual experience. They said store would call . The dbl burger was dried out and bun hard. Understand short handed due to Covid. Food cooked ahead of time. Put in warmer or just left out. All the years there always happy with quality of food. This was so dried out hard to explain . Must have been cooked ahead to try to keep up. Something this dry and cold should have been given to Health Dept. Ordered around 5 10 in afternoon. Poorly kept meat dangerous . This is not Sonic...... No help from Corp or store. Out seventeen dollars. Lesson learned. read more

Given Sonic numerous occasions to prove me wrong...but it stinks every time. I hate to give negative reviews, but the service here has been slow every time. read more

My first time eating at a Sonic was actually in 2009 when we first moved to the area. However, it was not our first trip to a Sonic. We've tried to go to two other locations and never got service, even in the drive through. The food is pretty good, the things to get excited about in my opinion would be the tots & the milkshakes. Do not get anything on their texas toast or their grilled cheese sandwich. The bread isn't even that toasted, it was simply just warm bread. read more

Great for so many people! The food was really good, and service for it was really fast. After that, we ordered some dessert, but that took a while. The server apologized and have us a refund on them. Overall a great experience! read more

Just terrible. 15 minutes in the drive thru and food was cold. Rude people as well. Keep driving and McDonald's is very close. Wendy's is close as is Canes. Go elsewhere. read more

This place reminds me of the restaurant my uncle bought when I was a kid he didn't know what he was doing and the whole place was a complete shitshow. I like sonics drinks but every time I go to this location you wait in line for over 20 minutes before you can get your order in. Usually only 1 or 2 people show up to work on a daily basis and things are crazy there. Franchise owner must not give a shit. read more

Sat in the car port for 10 minutes waiting to order. 5 cars that arrived after me were able to get thru the drive through before I was ever even greeted. Left because my pregnant wife couldn't stand to wait any longer for me to get home with food. We don't plan to go back. Save your time and money and go to the one in Dayton. The whole trip will be quicker than the service here. read more

In the drive thru line at 7:45 am on Wednesday 9/9/20. Was 4th in line and at speaker waiting to place my usual order. Was reading an email for a minute and when I looked up the 3 cars in front of me were gone. So I said hello into the speaker a couple of times expecting my normal friendly Sonic employee. Instead I got some sort of scream and a female employee stomped out and told me and a couple of cars behind me the restaurant was closed. I guess she was having a bad day. I'll try again tomorrow and hopefully they're open with an employee working that can handle the morning shift. read more

Terrible- will not return with my business. Had to repeat my order no less than 5 times and they still got it wrong! Took over 25 minutes to get our food and it was wrong. When we notified the waitress the order was wrong the manager came out. She said do you want me to bring out the right thing or not.... it will be $2 more. We complained the Wait was long for the first order and could we have the correct order quickly? She sarcastically said she had no idea. No trying to make it right or sorry for getting it wrong. She had a take it or leave it attitude- recommend you leave it!! read more

Tonight at 9pm I had a HORRIBLE experience at this location. I was so disrespected by the manager she called me a F'n B. We waited 25 minutes for her to come across the intercom and say I'll get your order when I can. I said ok thank you. I waited for a little while and looked over the flashing light was out so I hit the button again and waited. While my husband and I waited we were talking and said wow it really is taking them a long time to answer this tonight. He said yeah we have never waited 25 minutes just to order. I said yeah and I only need to order 2 things. Then i looked around and said i wonder if they took their order. She came across the intercom and said we can hear everything you are saying just so you know. I said ok whatever. She said what the hell do you want to order. I said never mind we will leave I don't want spit in my burger. Thanks anyway. She stopped me as I was backing out to tell and scream at me call me names and tell me that I can NEVER COME TO SONIC AGAIN. I'm sorry but no matter how mad you are you NEVER treat a guest that is paying your paycheck that way. I have been in this industry for 30years. If I had an employee that acted like that I would fire her on the spot no questions asked. I will NEVER give another cent to a Sonic. I will also get the word out about the manager MACKENZIE she needs a new profession. Nothing dealing with the public that's for sure. Thank you for the great night. NOT! read more

This Sonic location is consistently sub-par. We don't go there very often but I think this evening might be the last time. It is usually a nice surprise when they get a drive through order correct, but that is pretty rare, and odd considering how long it takes to get through the drive through. Often the food is cold and not appetizing looking (ie: soggy toast/bread/bun.) Overall quality and experience are poor. They simply don't deserve the business and there are better options in the area. read more
