As soon as we stepped inside, you could smell the sweetness of the ice cream, waffle cones, and all the candy displayed around the shop! While we were checking out the ice cream options, we were greeted and asked what we'd like. We both went with one scoop: my wife chose the Michigan Pothole, which was super chocolatey and loaded with tasty chocolate bits, and I got the butter pecan in a waffle cone--and wow, that was a huge scoop! Both ice creams were creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. We also picked up a Sky Bar, which is such a cool candy bar with four different fillings in one! We'll definitely be back to try more flavors and other goodies. Highly recommend!

Great place for teens to hang out and an amazing place for parents to take kids. I also saved $5 off the price because we used our punch card. On our 5th visit. Today we played card games and the young lady behind the counter offered a few coloring sheets. So we got to color today.

She caught a mistake and told the clerk he was giving her the wrong thing to correct the situation. The clerk had to involve a manager who couldn't manage to give my wife a refund in order the correct shake. it took about 20 minutes a total refund and then to re-purchase the correct item. I warned her that it doesn't seem that this location can get anything correct. I'm the same day. I almost stopped to get a hamburger after working out, but I decided not to and went to McDonald's instead I don't know how this place manages to survive.

The server was not friendly (i.e. no greeting or "how can I help you?" Only a blank stare). After talking our order, made both blizzards for us. When finished, he handed them to us without a comment and not inverting them as we typically would expect from Dairy Queen. This may appear trivial but it has been the trademark Blizzard presentation at Dairy Queen for years. It was nice to see the manager on duty, hopefully she can observe first-hand that employee customer serve training is needed. We like Dairy Queen and are hoping this franchise continues to be open and thrives unlike nearby the Diboll that closed recently. The Lufkin location certainly has had a rocky past year but hopefully management will intercede to ensure continued improvements are made. For instance, half the dining room has been blocked off for months and the old tile floor has been removed. Most of the customers seem to be using the drive-thru and they are very likely oblivious to the state of the interior. Overall, the blizzards were acceptable and I took a star off because of the poor customer service and the condition of the restaurant.

And I guess I just donated that money instead because I got zero cheese with my order. For some reason, you served me my ice cream a full 20 minutes before giving me my food, so it was completely melted before I even left the parking lot. I called six times to attempt to resolve the matter with my food, and no one answered. You had at least 6 people working when I ordered. Not one of you could answer the phone or double-check the accuracy of the order. Do you guys enjoy being known as the worst dairy queen in 50 miles?

My iced coffee had so much syrup that I ended up adding my own coffee from home to it so I wouldn't get sick. I had asked her beforehand how many pumps she was going to put in and she said, "Coffees don't get shots only espresso does." She misunderstood me, but I couldn't re-address the question again before she walked away. I watched her pump the butter pecan 6 times into my medium iced coffee! 1) It was way too sweet of a coffee and 2) she didn't give me a chance to rectify the situation. So I feel like I really wasted my money with this location. Further, 3) getting out of here is a suicide mission, no lie. If you have to turn left, you have no choice but to use the suicide lane and hope to the good Lord above oncoming traffic doesn't ride that lane to turn at the light while you pull out into it. Three strikes and you're out, so I'd honestly pass on this location based on my experience. Which stinks because I like Dunkin normally.
