I love sonic, however, on this trip, worst food ever! The tater tots were not only cold, but the oil they cooked them in taste it like it was old terrible taste, the cheeseburger. The roll was hard, and the meat was not even cooked all the way through. The soft pretzel twist was the only thing I can honestly say Was worth eating. Used to love sonic. We placed an order through the app and then waited at the drivethru for 5 minutes and no one helped us. We pulled up to the window and saw people walking around inside and they ignored us. We sat there for another five minutes and even tried calling the store. Still no one helped us. We finally called corporate and got a refund. For reference, it was 10:30 PM. According to the app, the website, and Google (which states that the business verified hours 4 days ago), this location closes at 1 AM. But the worst part is that there were workers inside and they ignored us. Shameful. read more

I pulled in and instantly the employee sitting outside, I presume is a night manager gives me a stank look like she was disgusted to have to do her actual job. I pull up to the speaker and order and pull up the the window to pay. I attempt to hand the girl part cash so she could put the other part on my card and was met with an immediate attitude since "we don't do split payments" ok but???? On top of it all, my order was completely wrong. They gave me wrong items and made my boyfriends food wrong all together. No one forced these people to work here. There's no reason as to why they should've had all this attitude whenever my order was so simple. Overall this sonic has horrid employees with attitudes for no reason. I ordered a #4 combo and a bag of ice, total of $12.12 but had two charges to my card. One for my order of $12.12 and another charge for $20.85. I didn't notice the extra charge until Monday morning and tried calling them, but the phone just rang and rang, no voicemail, nothing. I stopped there after work and spoke with the manager, who apparently can't do math and refused to refund the $20.85 but said he would refund the $12.12. I am either incredibly lucky, or all of those who have posted negative reviews for this Sonic location are overly dramatic. Though I live in CT, I have a condo in Daytona which happens to be a few miles from this Sonic. I have been going here for years and I have no complaints about either the food or the service. Every time I have stopped there I have been greeted with fantastic service, and the food has always been awesome (CORN DOGS!). Perhaps, like others have mentioned, the new ownership that took over a few years back (before I started going) improved things, but all I know is I don't have a Sonic anywhere near my home so I love coming here when I am on vacation. I always have the best time going through the drive through because I love suprises! I love getting all the way home to find out that something I paid for isn't in the bag, or the straws or sauce or fries were never put in, or its cold! And getting sick!
