If I go to Sonic, it's Happy Hour, and I'm getting limeades. Today, the line was surprisingly short, but still a long wait. The drinks were good today. I ordered 4 strawberry limeades and 1 cherry slush. The cashier also had to make my drinks, which did take time and hold up the line, however she was friendly, which was really nice. I think this location would really benefit from having additional workers during busy times, such as Happy Hour. I would frequent again based on today's visit. I gave it a 4 because my drinks were good, service was friendly, and the price was right. The wait kept it from being a perfect score.

I must have lost my mind to read all the horrible reviews & still stop here. It was almost midnight...I was staying nearby for work & there was already a line. The line was SLOWWWWWWWWWWWW & I mean SLOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! When it was finally my time to order, the girl was rude from the start. Maybe she was tired. Maybe she had a bad day. I don't know. All I know is that I could tell that it wasn't her pleasure to serve me. Why did Chick-fil-a have to be closed?? Anyway, I asked for a strawberry lemonade with no ice...they didn't have it. I asked if she had cherry limeaid & she said "yes". So, I ordered 2 for my children & a chicken strip kids meal with tots & a Hi-C fruit punch for myself. I get to the window & finally put my eyes on the rude girl. Those fake eyelashes and longggggggg weave must've been weighing heavy on her because she was doing everything slowly like she was weighed down & her eyes were barely open. I paid, and she proceeded to hand me the 3 drinks. I asked for a drink carrier and, of course, they didn't have one. So, the fruit punch spilled in my drink section of my car. Ughhhhh!! Then, she handed me my kids meal. I should've checked it. Oh, WHY DIDN'T I CHECK IT?!? I wasn't shocked that it was cold. The reviews already told me what to expect & I didn't pay attention to them. My fault! My bad. I learned my lesson. I will never come back. Oh, and I forgot to tell you...my kid's drinks were disgusting. It didn't taste like limeaid at all. Just imagine sucking on a lime. That's it. That's all. No sweetness. No cherry. Just LIME!!! Sad sad sad

Placed a $60 order via Uber Eats & the order was incorrect. Ordered a supersonic double cheeseburger & received a single cheeseburger. Ordered a single sonic cheeseburger with everything +bacon & received a jr. cheeseburger with bacon, mustard, cheese, & pickles. Very disappointing to say the least!! Items too expensive to not receive what you paid for!

Garbage which is bad so say considering Sonic usually kicks ass. At this location, you'll wait an hour for a few items which come out cold and flavorless. The quality of these menu items are atrocious. Go somewhere else, ANYWHERE else

I have been a long time fan of Sonic Drive-Ins. You can either order your meal from your car or their outside dinning area. If you wish to order from your car, you park in one of their spots. Scan their menu and once you are ready to place your order, simply press the red button labeled "Press to Order." Someone shortly responds and asks you what you'd like. Speak directly towards the menu board. You can pay by cash or credit. The credit card machine is right next to the "Press to Order" button. If you wish to pay by cash, have your cash ready for the employee. Minutes later, an employee in rollerblades will bring you your meal. If you wish to sit in their outside dinning area, they have an ordering station where you can place your order in the same fashion (by pressing the red button). The majority of Sonic's menu items are well priced. Their burgers aren't the best, but I definitely appreciate the experience here. They've got Wraps, Hot Dogs, Sundaes, Breakfast items, Slushes, etc. I love their Tots, Ched 'R' Peppers, Pickle-Os (fried pickles), and Cherry Limeade! The employees were kind and quick. At this particular location, the manager Mr. Johnson (I believe this was his name), asked us if everything was OK and if we enjoyed our meals. He was extremely professional and seemed to really care about what his customers thought. This location is also very clean. Whenever I'm in the area to visit my best friend and godson, I will continue to pay a visit to this awesome Sonic's Drive-In!

For fast food the food is ok. I think it is strange that on the burgers the didn't have ketchup or mustard or packets. It also looks like for the cheese fries the cheese is just slices of cheese melted instead of liquid cheese. So only the top gets cheese instead of all the fries. The boneless wings were not that great. The drinks are good.

Ordered a hot dog combo. First they got the order completely wrong and then it took them a good half hour to make a hot dog.

Smitty's has been around for a minute, specializing in traditional fast food: burgers, fries, hot dogs, onion rings, etc. The ambiance reminded me of those 50's style drive up food places where a waitress on roller skates would bring your food out on a tray and hook it on your car window for you to enjoy on the lot! We pulled into the lot and we saw folks eating in their cars. I got out to go in to place an order when I saw a sign on the door that said "staff only" and realized that you stay IN your car the the wait staff will come to your car to take your order! We were greeted by a pleasant young lady and she took our order: double cheeseburger with fries and a side order of battered onion rings. After taking our order, she placed a pink tag on our windshield. Our order was done in no time. When the young lady brought it to us, we paid her then. She had a traditional metal change dispenser on her waist too! The burger was SO good: the bun was fresh, the burger good with melted cheese and fried onions. The fries were crispy and fresh. The battered onion rings were SO good: whole onion slices surrounded in a nice crispy, non-greasy batter. All in all, I'm so glad we finally stopped by Smitty's. It has definitely made it to our go to list of food places to visit while in the area.

I was craving a craft burger, and I usually order those from Red Robin -- but the deal was enticing so I went ahead and decided to try Smashburger. I ordered the truffle mushroom smashburger and sweet potato waffle fries. I gotta say, for the price, it was just...eh. Edible for sure, but nothing super fabulous either. I can make a better burger in my oven at home than this was, and the sweet potato fries were okay for sure, but nothing spectacular. Delivery took a while too for some reason. I don't know that I'll revisit this place, but it was average overall for sure.

I recently tried Smashburger for the first time and cannot say enough good things about them…read more My wife and I both ordered the Smoked Brisket Bacon Smashburger. I added a side of "Smashfries" (cheese & bacon covered fries). My wife got the "Smashtots" (cheese & bacon covered tatertots). My grandson ordered the Double Truffle Mushroom Smashburger. Though it took a bit of time for our order to arrive (from what we saw, they have a hugh takeout business), it finally came out -- so hot we almost could not eat it. The Brisket Bacon Smash was enormous and incredibly favorable - a bit messy with BBQ sauce ah dripping. My grandson's Mushroom Smash was significantly smaller than ours - almost like a mini-burger - but he said it was also hot, favorable and delicious. Both the Smashtots and Smashfries truly justified the term, "loaded", being covered in bacon and almost swimming in delicious melted cheese (not the typical Cheez-Wiz dip). They have a unique selection of fountain drinks (Dragon Juice, etc.) which were not quite as good as they sounded, so I wound up sticking to the standard soda. The cost is not exorbitant but Smashburger is not cheap. Their burgers cost $10-$14, but the amount of food you get makes it feel worth the price. I compare that to another premium burger joint like Five Guys which has a similar cost for their burgers, but the value just does not feel be the same, which is why I stopped going to Five Guys. The ONLY negative about the entire visit, was that one of the persons waiting on us had dreadlocks literally down to her knees. Hair like that in a restaurant environment is always less than desirable. But it appeared well kept and so was a relatively minor issue. All in all, Smashburger is was a delightful new restaurant discovery; one which I hope to visit often.

We came here two weekends ago actually as a Plan B because our first choice ran out of food items. Let's see if our Plan B worked out. Seating was available for the most part when we walked in. Long version: So I went to check out this Mexican spot in Hampton and it was pretty interesting. The little mall that this place is in looks run down and I was wondering if my car was going to get broken into while it was parked there. But once you get inside this place has some interesting vibes and tons of fun decorations. I got the California burrito with a Mexican Coke and highly recommend! It is a 14 inch burrito that you can hold in your hand with guac, shredded Monterey Jack, carne asada steak, crispy fries with cotija cheese. There was a big group of people (maybe 10-12) in there when we arrived that was eating up a lot of the attention of the one waiter. Also, we had a long wait for food because they actually ran out of steak that was prepped and so they had to prep more and grill it up for the burrito. My friend got the OG burrito which he thought was good, but was a little soggy from the juice from the chicken. Even with everything, I would still recommend this place, and their California burrito was amazing.

It's just a horrible experience as is. They need to go to Precarious and see how they do it. Their food is generally good to great. They have a $5 before 5 app and drink special menu that is a really good deal. Nice spot for adults to have some drinks. Just be patient as service is generally slow. Now onto my recent experience.... I suggested it to some friends who wanted to grab some beers on MLK day which was a Monday. There were 4 of us guys and 7 kids. It's a lot. I get it. They weren't overly busy. Maybe a quarter full. I tried to keep the kids away from other tables by giving them boundaries. They were not happy with us. They didn't like the kids being outside in their patio (freezing, no one out there) etc. The one server was getting destroyed. She had just like 6 tables, but a 16 top. I felt badly for her. Our drinks correspondingly took about 20-30 minutes each time we tried to order. She was nice when she could get to us. At one point a person who said they were a manager, I think she said her name was Hannah, came over and said the kids couldn't be going around (again, I had boundaries not by any other patrons etc. from what I could see they were honoring them, but who knows), anyway she asked if we could keep them by us, which is fine. I then asked her if I could put in a beer and app order as I had been waiting for our server with an empty beer for at least 20 minutes. Instead of taking the order and ringing it in, she said she'd send the server over and disappeared never to be seen again. 5 minutes Iater the server was able to get free from her big table and get our beer orders and food in. Several items were forgot, but at this point we were kind of over it. Just not really your typical relaxed brewery vibe. Felt like they wanted it to be more of a sit down restaurant. That big long story to say it's not a spot for kids. Overall food and drinks are solid. Beer is solidly middle of the pack for Peninsula. Management needs some work.
