I have quite a few memories of their location on Old Jacksonville, but upon revisiting Tyler, I had to stop at the 5th Street location. Upon walking in, it has been remodeled quite a bit making it a little more modern and similar in style to the other locations in Tyler. You order at the counter where you can get your burgers, sides, and more before getting a buzzer for when your food is ready. As they cook your burger (or whatever you ordered), you are free to get your free cup of their incredible beans. I took a picture of my girlfriend with her beans to send to my parents, that's how culturally important it is to us. That's course one. 10 minutes later, your buzzer rings and you're given a tray with a glorious burger and whatever delectable sides you decided to grab. Their onion rings are always a must. This time around, at the suggestion of my girlfriend, I also got an order of their Fried Green Tomatoes. Something I have never ordered before, but really enjoyed. It's greasy, it's deep fried, and it's incredible. The burger is as good as I remember. That's course two. As you sit there, trying to decide if housing that burger and cruising through all those onion rings was a good idea, you decide to get another cup of beans for dessert. The bacon inside them is subtle but always appreciated. They have a little heat and a little sweetness.
