Beautifully decorated with colorful paintings and sculpture type wall hangings that were very interesting. Bright and airy with tables and booths, kinda causal elegant. Our waitress was Megan and she was really cool. She was funny and took very good care of us. Mondays special is $10 hamburgers so 3 of us ordered the Cowboy Burger which came with homemade wavy fries. The burgers were huge and very good. (I couldn't finish mine!). It was cooked exactly as I ordered and came with cheddar cheese, thick sliced bacon, and house made onion fries. Yum, great burger. The fries were thick, cross cut potatoes that were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, not greasy at all. My partner got the 2 chili dog meal and he enjoyed it very much. Overall a really good experience so we will be back

Once the server came, we ordered appetizers, then he wanted to know what we wanted for our entree. We said we wanted to wait, as we all hate when we are eating our appetizers, and the main course comes. 3 times he came and asked us if we were ready to order. Umm. No, there are still appetizers, and yes, we told him we'd order when we were through with our appetizers. Finished the appetizers, had to ask the waiter for water 2x. Ordered main dish, our friend ordered the special which was on a chalk board when you walk in. About 5 minutes later the waiter says we're out of the special. She asked to see the menu. He didn't offer it. Our dinner came out about 2 minutes later, and she had to wait another 8-10 for her dinner. If you knew you were out of the special - wouldn't you hold the rest of the tables order so everyone could be served together? Once we all had our main course, as did our friend had to ask for steak sauce twice. Didn't see the waiter again. The hostess came by once. Once dinner was completed, the waiter brought the check and let the dirty plates on the table. The hostess came by and asked how the food was. And said "I'll get your server to clean up these dishes". Never did. Once we said No thanks for dessert - he was gone. At first we thought It's Easter Sunday - they're busy. Nope, only 3 tables full. And as we left, we noticed the special was STILL on the chalkboard. If you're out - cross it off, or erase it. Not a difficult step. The food itself was "good" but not excellent. We have been 3x now since they opened, and probably would not go back.

You may consider this if the upper Main Street area is crowded. We ordered the Tacos Tipicos to share, planning to order more if we were still hungry. We would definite return when we're looking for Mexican. $24 and change for their Tacos Tipicos and two drinks.

This was at 5 pm and there were only a few customers in there. We ordered calamari and crispy chicken and squash ravioli for our main course. It was all just ok. Crispy chicken was probably the best choice Our young server never cleared any plates. She did stop to ask how everything was but we had pretty bad service.

Having said that, I didn't order a steak after the banana nut chicken caught my eye. This fried chicken breast in a banana nut glaze was delicious and unique. This dish is worth a visit in itself. There was also a good deal in the special menu for two with a selection of entrees for $15 each. Portions were large and everyone enjoyed their selection. Service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance inside the old, Main Street building screams elegance.

The place also has a pool table, which you can use for free, along with online trivia you can play on the TV. However, there was no wi-fi here. For my order, I went with the black and bleu burger with fries and a coke. My family also ordered a pizza, so I had that too. This took 25 minutes to come out. Taste-wise, the burger was delightful, the fries tasted great, my pizza was scrumptious, and you just can't go wrong with a Coca-Cola. Sue, our server, did great and was nice to us. I can definitely see myself coming back up here, thank you so much.

Also entertaining bc cops were pulling people over left and right . We started with the spinach dip and garlic knots. They went down quick, the spinach dip was delicious! My boys loved the knots. For entrees we got the kids cheese pizza, pretty big slice for $3.5, we were impressed and our 11 year old demolished it and was full! My husband raved about the lasagna and the chicken margarita pizza was yummy! I'd never had it with chicken on a margarita and was delighted with how good it was! I'd definitely try this again! The vibe was good!

Our hostel host pointed us here, and the second we stepped in, we were greeted by Jaguars jerseys on the wall, Mark Brunell and Jimmy Smith. Then we got seated, and right above our table was Fred Taylor's Florida Gators jersey along with a picture of the Swamp. All three of us at the table were Jacksonville guys, so between the Jags gear and the Gators tie-in, it felt like home before we'd even ordered. We all got the wings, and they were excellent. This place oven roasts them first, then fries to crisp up the skin, no breading involved, and that combination does something special to the flavor. Best wings I've had in a while. One of my buddies also ordered a margarita and said it was excellent. Service was great throughout, and the price landed right in that sweet spot, not cheap, but not expensive for what we got either. Fair value across the board. If you're ever in Franklin and want a spot that feels like home even when you're hundreds of miles from it, this is the place.

It was Sunday evening and we wanted to order dinner for pick up so we checked out the website for the menu. We knew we wanted wings and pizza so we jumped on a 12 piece bone-in wings with Hot-2-Go Garlic and a 16" The Meating Place Pie which has the meats that being, Meatballs, Cupped Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, and Prosciutto. We then saw the Last Train to Mexico Pizza and it sounded like nothing we had ever heard of (Foragers Street Corn Elote, Mojo Pulled Pork, Candied Bacon, Jalapenos, Mozzarella, Goat Cheese, Tajin, Cilantro, and Lime Crema Drizzle). This might just be crazy enough to work. We picked up our order and everything looked great. I started with the wings. The Hot-2-Go Garlic sauce was great. Not an over the top spicy but has great flavor and plenty of actual garlic which we loved. The The Meating Place was also very good. Fresh topping and it was loaded with them too with a great crust. Now for the Last Train to Mexico: We loved this pizza. It was so unique but everything on it worked so well. The flavors, texture, toppings everything hit. We were so glad we took a risk on this pie. I will say though the star of the show was for sure the Street Corn Elote as a base. First time having corn on a pizza and it will not be my last. If the toppings on the Last Train to Mexico are ones you enjoy this is a must.
