We've hat this happen a couple times before, but this time was just too much. We got out of church about 7:40pm and as customary on Sunday evening, a group of us went to the Dairy Queen to get a meal. we arrived at the business about 7:50, and as usual half the dinning area was already closed with chairs upside down on the tables. We have had this happen before and with a little begging, since our group normally runs from 8-12, we have been able to persuade the girls to let us take the chairs down and be seated. This past Sunday I decided that having to ask to sit in an area that should still be open was not necessary, so we took the chairs down and went to the counter to order. When I got to the counter, the worker advised me very rudely that we were not to take the chairs down and could sit elsewhere. I look around and saw that all tables had at least 1 person sitting at them and told the worker that we had 8 people and that was the only area that would accommodate our group, at which she responded again that we could not take the chairs off the top of the table. This business does not close until 9pm. if they are going to start closing before 8pm they should close the eating area all together and only take drive throughs. Sorry for such a long review, but I think customers deserve a little service, since we are the ones that spend our money there. I sorry but they will not see any more of our small little church group. The food was very good there, but unfortunately for this business, they will will no longer get any of ours.

The place is called - "Milo's Off the Square" and it just keeps me coming back for more. So, if you liked smoked meats like brisket and ribs, you have to hit this joint up. In fact I suggested that they change the name of the dish to - Crispy Golden Angel Wings - because pigs are God's gift to the world and when you're a good boy, like me, He gives you bacon .... Chicken Fried .... as a reward. Again I saw, Chicken Fried Steak, and I was not disappointed. This is the one thing I could eat everyday. The steak, even though it is a tenderized piece of chuck blade steak, was breaded and cooked to perfection. So juicy, so tender, oh so so so good. The mashed potatoes were so creamy and soft where near a lump could be found, in fact, that was my only complaint because I like slightly lumpy potatoes. These potatoes were homemade from scratch potatoes, and this I know for sure, because no matter how hard you try, there are always small lumps in even the smoothest of mashed potatoes. Milo's mashed potatoes are not even close to being instant. They are perfect. These potatoes will make you so happy, because of their creaminess and the perfectly seasoned gravy to match. So, yes, my greedy self bought the peach cobbler and I have to say that it's one of the best cobblers I ever had. I'm all about the crust and it has a beautiful tasty crust.
