Been here a couple times. Food came out great, on time with a smile, and never miss anything in my order.

When my fiance and I first pulled up there was like four cars there yet it took 10+ minutes for us to reach the menu. He ordered food along with a limeade and specified twice that limeade is what was being ordered. We then pulled up to the window and waited TWENTY minutes while the cars that got there after us got their food and left within a few minutes. Now I'd understand if we got a lot of food, but we didn't. It was a small order of nuggets, tots, fries, and a limeade. We got SMALL SIDES and a drink. It shouldn't be more than a few minutes to get the food, but they took twenty. I wasn't shocked though, because when we pulled up to the window I saw some guy sitting there while everyone else was working. And it ain't like they were running around, they were taking their time. I'm pretty sure I saw him get up, eat something then throw it away then sit down again. Then there was another guy sagging his pants in the kitchen. I'm all for self expression, but why the hell you got your underwear out in da kitchen? Remember how I said we got three sides and a drink? Well when we finally get it the sides ain't right and they didn't even give us a drink. My fiance had to ask them again and told the lady at the window for the fifth time that he wanted limeade. Tell me why this lady says "lemonade?" Then comes back with a fucking sprite. They gotta be outta their minds or something. read more

Took forever to get our drinks. Nobody was in drive threw and maybe 2 cars outside and it took almost an hour to receive 2 drinks

Goodness! This sonic got to do better. We drove into a slot & ordered unaware everyone had issues. Customers were going up to the door knocking asking about their order. We waited for nearly an hour. We ask the young man about our order. He checked and brought it out. It appeared the order had been sitting for sometime. The fries were stone-cold. Have you ever eaten a cold fry. The hamburger was cold and hard with no mayo. However, the choc shake held up to the heat. We looked at each other and just laughed. Sonic probably is having same issue as all others with staffing. They are ways to avoid customer dissatisfaction. Shut down the stalls and only do drive through. Create signs to info customers that stalls are closed due to staffing issues. Your business, product, staffing and customer relations suffer due to your lack of being proactive. read more

This is the worst sonic ever. Unfortunately I make the mistakes of coming here out of convenience and REGRET IT EVERY TIME. Rude as hell, barely open at night time after like 7pm, and the food is not cooked like other sonic's i go to. I am always waiting for 40 minutes or more. It is absolutely insane. I grew up going to Sonic so I really hope yall get a handle on this. This is not what Sonic is supposed to be like. read more

Maybe it's just this location or maybe it's sonic in general but this place is super slow. Sometimes the line will be out to the road and you'll be sitting in the drive-through line for 20 minutes just for a few drinks. The upside to this restaurant is that it is very convenient off of E Brainerd, they do you have a back exit so that you can get to the intersection of Gunbarrel and E Brainerd easier and you can use their app to order ahead to make your trip quicker & get half priced drinks all the time. Some downsides are slow service, hit and miss food options and because of COVID you cannot order from the parking spot screens. When I went to this location before I ordered onion rings and they came out to tell me that they didn't have any and I could have tater tot's instead. I didn't mind the tater tots but I was looking forward to onion rings. read more

What a TERRIBLE experience. I ordered on the app, pulled up for my food, it stayed on "food is in the kitchen." I pushed the red button 4 times and nobody ever came. I tried calling the store and apparently they took their phone off the hook so nobody could call. I had to then get in the drive thru and wait another 15 minutes to get a water and pretzel. This place is really bad. Stay away and go somewhere else. read more

I was given the slushy I ordered, then waited forever to have my order brought to me missing food that I paid for. When I called in to ask about the rest of the food I paid for I was hung up on. Costumer service is a -5. I pull up in the ordering intercom and I'm told I need to wait which is fine (but that's not really fast food). After waiting about 3 to 5 minutes someone comes on the intercom and asked did I order a caramel shake... I'm like oh they must not be talking to me because they told me to wait. And they go hello did you order a caramel shake and I say, me? And they were like yeah you. I replied... I have not ordered anything I was told to wait, oh. Then I waited five more minutes even though there were only two cars in front of me. They come on and ask me what I want to order. I said can I have a number one combo cheese only... Then I decided I really didn't want tots or a Coke so can I just have a number one burger only cheese only. They reply what? I said can I just have a cheeseburger cheese only. The rude girl replies that's all you want? I reply saying yes, should I go to Burger King. She reply saying what ? then in my annoyance because I have waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and I've said my order three times....I just want a cheeseburger cheese only. Then she yells back at me OK!! I replied you know what? with that attitude never mind you'll spit in my food...... anyways and I drove off and went to KFC next-door and they were a pleasure. read more

I wish I could give zero stars! I can't believe I just waited that long in the drive through for half my order. Then got attitude when I told them items were missing. I ended up leaving without the rest of the food. The burger and hotdog I had were getting cold, I cut my losses and left. They never even gave me a confirmation that they were resolving the issue, just ignored me. read more

Waited in line an hour, because he was taking an order every 20 mins, just for the guy to tell us the ice cream machine was down (yeah you shut it down) and and then every food we tried to order he was out of, this place is joke. If you can't find workers then just shut it down so people don't waist their time in your drive thru. I will never ever go back there and honestly probably any sonic! DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Idk if it's staffing issues or what, but they have all the stalls on and open, but no one ever answers after pushing the red button. They have mobile ordering turned on, but you can't pick it up at a stall. I've been here for 40 min, and I haven't even spoken to an employee. Whoever is managing this location has severely dropped the ball, and isn't doing enough for the employees to make guest service even resemble "acceptable." Feel bad for them. We come here often and usually its okay, but getting very annoyed with being told there is no ice cream or that that machine is "down" or not working. Its 9pm on a Saturday night, people are just being lazy and cleaning the machine early so that they can get off work faster. We always ask now if they are serving ice cream before we order, and one night it was apparent that a manager was working and was appalled we even had to ask if they were still serving ice cream that she gave us one for free. Individual stalls lit up, signs direct you to use a stall, but when you press the button to order they tell you to go through the drive thru. Line is out to the street. How about you turn off the stalls and cover the signs. We left. We'll see how long it takes for is to go back. read more

Great customer service for the least 14 years of going to this Sonic. I used to cone here about once or twice every week for lunch way back in 2002 to 2004. Prices were cheaper back then of course. menu item ordered: Large Vanilla Milkshake. The manager personally brought the milkshake out us. She was so nice and even asked if we needed anything else with a smile. I'm coming back soon, you can bet that. read more

We were looking for a restaurant that was open late because our plans ran longer than we thought. We found sonic and the staff seemed nice but slightly aggravated we were there. When we got home my burger that I ordered was smashed. I mean you could see the imprint of someone's knuckles on the bun, that was completely falling apart with the mustard and ketchup seeping through the top of it. Very disappointed. Came through the drive thru and they were slow as usual. All i ordered was a new raspberry drink and corn dogs. Paid my bill and waited 5 min in the drive thru. Then the cashier tells me my debit card didn't work. I gave him a new card and he rang that up. I explained to him my bank shows it was paid, he disagreed. I ended up billed on two separate cards for a drink and two corn dogs. Watch this location, they will rip you off. Now I have to file disputes with my bank because this was double billing. I'd love to hear about others ripped off at this location. Charged $18.04 total for a drink and two corn dogs and the slowest service in Chattanooga. read more

I just wasted my entire lunch break waiting for an order that never arrived. After sitting there for over 30 minutes after ordering, I had to leave and go back to work, hungry and irritated. I am giving them a 5 star just so you can read this!!! ALERT!!! Do not go to this location. There is an employee with dyed red hair & glasses that could be seen through their window dancing around the food prep area, eating nuggets & tots, all while prepping food and drinking a strawberry looking shake just the other night, while we waiting 40 mins to get cold food. The food was made and left on the counter while every other car was served their orders after us. Best part was we watched her make a ice cream and the ice cream swirl was to high for the cup, she stuck her finger in it and flattened it then licked her finger then wiped the access off the side of the lid, licked her fingers again and handed it to the window for it to do to a customer. Sonic customer service was already contacted, she was wearing a jacket and a different color shirt i truly hope she wasn't the manager of this location, if it was that can explain the amounts of low reviews. Short staffed always you will be the for an hour waiting on your food minimum there's only two employees working at all times. They should shut down until they can hire more people because you will sit waiting for a very very long time no matter what time of day. read more

Terrible. Second time we've placed a drink order in the app and waited over 30 minutes while our stall sign showed my wife's name and "your order is in the kitchen". Pressing the red button on the stall sign and even calling them on the phone didn't work, no answer to either. They seemed to just be servicing their drive thru and ignoring everybody else. First of all, the fries went well done like asked. Second of all the jumbo popcorn chicken wasn't jumbo, tiny little pieces that were mostly breading. Second, and this is what makes this a 1 Star review id give a zero if I could, the cups failed. Left the drinks in the car and the next day it had somehow failed and there was lemonade in the cup holder. Thankfully it was sealed and not an open type holder. Worst Sonic in the area! The last time I was there was several years ago; I left after waiting a half hour and my order still hadn't come. Went back today, because the app on my phone said they had 50¢ corn dogs and I happened to be passing by this one. My dog adores them, so I get a couple as a treat for her every time they have the special. I ordered six corn dogs (specifying the offer from the app), mozzarella sticks, and a pretzel; paid via the outside kiosk. After a few minutes an employee came out and handed me a bag, which felt awfully light. I looked inside, and saw only the mozzarella sticks and pretzel - not a single corn dog. Told a passing employee my order was wrong, and he asked to see the receipt, which admittedly I hadn't looked at, but the total I paid was in the ballpark. It showed the two items I had received, and a single corn dog...at regular price. Someone finally brought out a bag of corn dogs and gave it to me...which contained five, not six. I won't be back; I have no patience with idiots. Any other Sonic in town is OK - just avoid this one. read more
