Here at Sonder Pharmacy we like to say we are in the people business more than a pharmacy business. Does that sound crazy? Well, it shouldn’t. We are dismantling the old way of doing pharmacy business and completely rebuilding it. We believe the pharmacy can work for the people. That includes patients, doctors and insurers. Sonder Pharmacy is caring beyond prescriptions, money and insurance. We are Locally owned. Locally operated. Locally loved, extending our hands to all our neighbors. We want to help you. Count on people that Care for YOU.
History
Established in 2022.
People always ask, why open a pharmacy, there are so many? A blessing was developed out of an unfortunate situation. In 2021 Sonder Pharmacy founder lost her mother and prior to losing her mother, she was her care giver. During that time she remember how difficult it was getting the medicines that was needed. She would go to the big chain pharmacies and was only treated as a number and the process was never easy, sometimes never getting the medicines that was required within a timely manner. So she said to myself, if she was ever allowed to make a difference for others, she would! She never wanted another family to endure the pain of loosing a family member along with the inconvenience of getting the services they need to care for them during the process. Sonder Pharmacy believe a pharmacy can be focused on caring and that's exactly what we do here.
Meet the Business Owner: Felecha W.
In 2021 I lost my mother, prior to losing her I was her care giver. People never like to admit it, but caregiving is hard. After being one, I like to think that it's one of the most important jobs that a person can serve in. To see the one you love deteriorate right before your eyes is one of the hardest things I had to do in life; so getting their medicine should not make that process more difficult, but it did. I remember how difficult it was getting the medicine needed, going to the big chain pharmacies only to be treated as a number, it seemed like nobody cared. I said to myself, if I am ever allowed to make a difference for others, I would! I never want another family to endure the pain of loosing a family member along with the inconvenience of getting their medicine during the process. The day finally came, I could have opened any business that was less challenging and more rewarding financially, but I never forgot. So here I am, open and ready to service my community.
