I visited Soncy Hair Salon for the first time the other day. I booked an appointment with Tiffany, which was very easy to do online, who was so kind and took my directions so clearly. I really enjoyed chatting with her! She used amazing products on my hair and really took her time to make sure I was happy with the length and the style. Jessica was my hair stylist and she is just so cute and fun. She did a great job with my hair and gave me tips on how to maintain it. After seeing the results of Alex giving haircuts to friends for years, when I was in need of a new stylist I didn't even consider seeing anyone else. Alex not only knows how to work with the natural textures of your hair, she brings them out, making them more vibrant and much more interesting. I have wavey hair and she's great with waves (no small feat!). It's a testament to my cut that weeks after, it performs even better when i air dry it than when I fuss with it. For this low maintenance girl that's EVERYTHING! I had Megan cut, color and blow dry and my hair. She was awesome!!! I had received a TERRIBLE cut and color from another salon a few weeks ago. While it looked 'decent' after they had blow dried it, a few days later when I tried to style it at home it was choppy and a terrible cut. When I went to Soncy I saw Megan. Megan was a superstar and was able to fix, not only the horrible cut, but she was able to bring my color back to life!! I could not be happier with the way my hair looks and feels now. She was able to color my hair just perfectly and fix the cut so that all the layers now blend in wonderfully!! I will definitely be going back to Soncy!! Even though I live in Dallas, I visit CA several times a year and I always get a "Jessica Cut" while I'm there. (The online scheduling works great. I make plane reservations and immediately make a hair appointment.) I have very thick hair, multiple cowlicks and, in general, difficult hair. And it grows fast enough, that I require a cut at least every 6 weeks. Jessica's cut and style can last me through 3 or 4 cuts in Texas. She does an incredible job, every time. My last review was just over a year ago after I'd been to Soncy for the first time and received a great cut from Riley, a sweet and very personable stylist. She continued cutting and coloring my hair until summer, when she left to pursue other non-hair endeavors. After Riley left, I was offered and accepted an appointment with Jenna, another Soncy stylist. I have to say that she is every bit as talented, sweet, and easy to talk to as Riley, if not more so. She recently cut my hair into a short angled bob, and it's never looked better. Jenna has given me back the golden-blonde highlights of my youth -- not an easy feat on my 46-year-old head of graying hair ;) I get compliments on both the cut and color all the time, and it feels great! This is one of the BEST salons I have been to! They have awesome and knowledgeable stylists! I especially love Tiffany! I brought my six year old daughter here and Tiff new exactly what to do! She asked me what I was looking for and I told her my suggestion but wasn't really sure if it would work. So she went right to work on my little one and treated her so special. She even gave her a gentle head and neck massage. The look of amazement and relaxation from her little face made me giggle. Tiff cut her hair and gave me additional professional suggestions.
