They also are well equipped with accessories like water decals, alligator clips, Gundam markers, and even the rare stock of black Tamiya panel wash. The best part? The prices are great! Every kit I pick up and Amazon-cross reference, Hub Hobby is almost ALWAYS cheaper. I don't think Minnesotans understand what a gem this place is; you will never come across a hobby shop who not only has quality in the volume of their inventory, but also incredibly competitive prices. And the staff? Amazing. One word.... ...Javier!

I'm incredibly disappointed and honestly heartbroken over an experience I recently had with Hub…read moreHobby regarding my Traxxas T-Maxx/X-Maxx RC truck. I dropped the truck off for repair, and while I understood repairs can sometimes take a while, the process took a very long time. Eventually, I received one phone call letting me know the repair had been completed. Unfortunately, after 90 days of not picking it up, I later learned that the truck had been surrendered. What's hardest for me to understand is that I never received a second phone call, voicemail, warning, or any kind of notice that my truck was about to be surrendered. Not one. What makes this especially frustrating is that over the years I've received numerous phone calls from the store over much smaller things -- special-ordered parts, minor items, and other routine pickups. So it's difficult for me to understand why there wasn't more effort made to contact me over something worth nearly $2,000 and carrying so much personal value. This hobby store means a lot to me personally. My late father used to take me there when I was younger, and some of my best memories with him came from spending time there together. These days, I love bringing my own two children there and sharing the same hobby with them. That's why this situation feels so devastating. It wasn't just an RC truck to me. It represented years of memories, time, money, and something meaningful I shared across generations of my family. I understand businesses have policies, and I'm not trying to attack anyone personally. I just truly wish more effort had been made before permanently surrendering something that clearly meant so much to a longtime customer. I still hope there's some way this situation can be made right.

(Well, except the clothes. They really have no opinion on clothing yet. But I'm sure they would love them, if they were old enough to understand fashion.) The owner is super nice and has great suggestions on what to buy even if you only have a vague idea of what you're looking for. She's been all over the store showing me things she thought my babies would like, and opened some of the packages so we could try them out. The place is called Teeny Bee for a reason, they have a lot of baby stuff, and some toddler stuff, but not much for kiddos older than that. They do have classes in the basement that I think are usually free- dance classes and music classes. I can't wait til my boys are old enough to go! You should also "like" her page on FB, she announces random sales and gives product reviews. Here's the only slightly negative- it's on the expensive side. But it's boutique stuff that you can't buy at Babies-R-Us or Target. And in my opinion, it's way better than most of the stuff you'll get there anyhow, but I know how it feels to pay mucho money for something your kid will only wear for a month (if you're lucky.) But sometimes you just have to buy stuff like that because it's SO DARN CUTE!

Cute little arcade, they have 2 rows of claw machines to play, some claw machine requires 1 to 3 tokens. Depending on how big the teddy bears are. Once you enter, you're greeted by the cashier that explains everything. The tokens are $1 each, the more you purchase will get extra. For example I chose $30 and I received 35 tokens. Cashier handed us the tokens in a basket and clear bag for your winnings. Once you're done playing, you can trade the stuffed animals for something else behind the counter. I don't remember the rest, but I saw $10 for 10 tokens or $20 for 25 tokens. Those are the prices I was looking at. It turns out I spent a total of $40. It's a great place for little kids. You are given a bag to keep all of the plush in. The win ratio was good too. I think in 45 minutes, I had 13 plushies total + 1 keychain, and I traded 10 plush for a giant Jigglypuff. I wish all the machines were one token, but some were 1, 2, or 4 tokens. (Like Spiderman was 2 tokens...) Prize trade-in was good. The highest cost was 12 plushies. The big one like Jigglypuff was 10. The next was 5 plushies. They also have some Pop Mart items in a shelf. No labubu. Check out their Facebook page or Instagram for hour updates. They just went into their summer hours. Unfortunately, Yelp won't let me suggest an edit for a Facebook or Instagram link.
