The really nice dude who works there (maybe even owns it) turns out some clutch hot dogs. I live more than 1,000 miles away, so I cannot give this place anything more than a couple of visits while I'm in town. If I lived here, I would patronize this place at least twice a week. If you read my profile, you'll see that I put hot dogs on the same culinary pedestal as white truffles. This place is one of the reasons why.

Simple focused menu, reasonable prices. My husband got the burger and house made fries and I got the small house salad with added fried chicken tenders. Easy pay with credit card and they give you a number that you can take to any seat you find. No soda other than bottled root beer at the bar, but iced water is available for others that don't drink. My husband's smash burger had plenty of cheese and was well seasoned, the fries are amazing and highly recommended. My house salad was excellent, not just an afterthought with included spicy marinated cucumbers, tomatoes, fresh spring mix and feta. The salad dressing was a green goddess - it was amazing, flavorful and bright. Their house made sauces were all wonderful and they should be bottled. Their bbq sauce was spicy and sweet and Dilly ranch is a must try. Highly recommend paying extra for their sauces - may have been my favorite part of the meal. The added fried tenders were only $5, great deal as they are freshly made, large portion and perfect with their sauces. Service was kind and efficient, great overall experience.

The footlong had chili and cheese on it which made it a "Big Daddy Footlong" and I added onions and jalapeños. The bun was ironclad, it didn't even tear when loaded up with chili. The chili is a family recipe so I've heard, it's delicious! Highly recommended. There are a variety of toppings as well, my buddy put pepperoni on his hotdog! The polish boy was insaaaaane. I smashed it in 30 seconds. Really good flavor to the sauce, goes great with the slaw. The bun did start to disintegrate but I drove back to work before eating it, so it sat for 12~ish minutes. Overall great experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious, it was priced extremely fair for the quality and the location gave me great big city deli/bodega vibes with a few tables you can eat at. The staff here is an All-Star team that made my experience feel wholeheartedly welcome and I belonged. This place has a lot of interesting people here as well that were great to chat with. Restrooms here are all so very clean and even the prices are pretty good for what they are. Google says they close at 10 o'clock it says when they close but they'll close whenever they feel like to be honest. They have a great selection of alcohol as well and a lot of alcohol I've never seen before. They have great deals after 9:00. The staff cooks and fries your food right in front of you, so you know the food comes out fresh and hot. And everything was delicious. The tasty onion rings had a thick, crispy batter, and the fries were great as well. But the star of my meal was, of course, the chicken. The wings and tenders were perfectly cooked. They were well-seasoned and glistening with juice on the inside. The restaurant doesn't believe in drenching their chicken with sauce, and why would they when the chicken on its own was so freaking delicious? Not to say that I didn't enjoy dipping my wings and tenders into the BBQ sauce and honey mustard, but the chicken didn't NEED the sauces. I washed down my food with sweet tea, which is complimentary if you buy food. The staff here is also SO friendly. They truly make you feel welcome. Can't wait to come here again!

If you're going for a lake view restaurant, this wasn't it. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very pleasant young lady. Seated by the window, we were pleased by the menu and the daily specials. Our server was very prompt and courteous. We ordered the walleye sandwich and the perch sandwich. Both sandwiches came with hand cut french fries and coleslaw. Our son ordered the grilled cheese sandwich and tomato basil soup. Our food arrived very promptly. My wife and I both loved the fish and felt that it was one of the best fish sandwiches we've had in a long time. The fries were rather limp and could use some more attention by the kitchen to make them stand out more. I like a mayo based coleslaw, so I didn't really love the slaw, although it was fresh and tart. The soup was very tasty and the grilled cheese was done just right! Overall, we would recommend this restaurant and we can tell that the local crowd likes this place and has kept it in business for a long time. Now if they only had that lake view restaurant!
