From start to finish they were incredibly easy to communicate with- responsive, attentive, and truly listened to what I wanted. Lisa and her team brought my vision to life, and it was even better than I imagined. What really stood out was their willingness to work within our budget without compromising on quality or creativity. They not only designed and set up all the balloons, backdrops, installations but they also spent extra time helping me decorate and design the farmers market with the custom gifts I made and/or purchased for my guests. The entire process felt stress-free and enjoyable. Everything turned out beautifully and we received so many compliments. I am truly honored to be The Simple Luxe's first farmers market themed client and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and kind vendor who goes above and beyond. We also wanted to include our late dog in the design, and she incorporated him so beautifully. Seeing the attention to detail in their previous work is what convinced us to move forward, and all of our guests were blown away by how everything turned out. Jasmine was also a pleasure to work with. She was very communicative, easy to talk to, and made the entire process stress-free from start to finish. She really listened to our ideas, gave us time to make decisions, and helped us stay within our budget. Huge thanks to the setup and cleanup team as well. They were punctual and respectful of the time we had the venue booked. My wife and I would definitely recommend The Simple Luxe to anyone (if it's within your budget). With 76 guests in attendance, the food, service, and professionalism were nothing short of our expectations--and at a very affordable price. We highly recommend scheduling a tasting appointment, as it was a valuable part of the decision process for us and I definitely wanted to wow our guests with the food that we chose. It helped us fine-tune our initial menu and even led to us upgrading from their tri-tip to the braised short ribs, which completely won us over at the tasting. So tender and flavorful--our guests said that was their favorite part of their dinner! Every single item was delicious and beautifully presented as you will see in the photos, and the attention to detail in both flavor and appearance made a big impression for me. We started our planning with Lindsay Vandruff, who was fantastic to work with--friendly, warm, organized, and responsive. She worked closely with us so we could stick to our budget and never pushed us towards making any pricier choices or upgrades. Even after she left the company midway through our planning, the transition to our next coordinator, Danielle Schmidt, was smooth and stress-free. Danielle was a very communicative and ensured that nothing was overlooked in the final stages of planning. The staff on the day of the wedding was just as impressive--attentive, courteous, and incredibly efficient. They managed everything behind the scenes so we could simply enjoy our day. They even brought our food to our during our reception since we were so busy talking to our guests which was very sweet! If you're looking for a catering company that delivers quality, professionalism, and flavors, all at a good price point, Above All Catering would be the choice! We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone planning any type of special event!

Janice was very communicative throughout the process, providing ideas and sketches while she was planning everything out. The day of, the venue we booked decided to cut our setup time short because there was a party that booked lunchtime and was running late. Despite this setback, Janice and her team were there on time working on setting up while the restaurant workers were cleaning up. I can only imagine how chaotic it must have been, but everything was setup on time and came out beautiful! The theme was like XLB on CNY, and Janice ran with the idea and brought it to life. We loved the addition of the fans and flowers! There were also some lanterns that they were able to attach onto the walls that added to the theme, but we forgot to take pictures of them. I plan things all the time but a wedding is a much bigger event and I was immediately overwhelmed and knew I didn't want to spend my special day stressed out and dealing with everything. Even if you have family help you still have to deal with it taking you totally out of the moment. I searched for Wedding planners and found UP UP AND AWAY EVENTS thinking that they may be able to work with me in my non-traditional ways. Thank god, as Liz and her team were AMAZING. The entire process was great. We met a few times and had many phone and online conversations. Liz helped me pick the vendors I didn't want to deal with and planned everything while taking into account my vision. But, it was the day of that blew us away. Not only was it the perfect wedding but Liz and her team worked TIRELESSLY from 9am to after 1am. We couldn't believe how hard they were working and of course it showed. We are proud to recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for an event planner. Ann excels at all aspects of event planning--she is extremely timely and thorough in her emails, attentive during meetings, and detail-oriented in the construction of her internal resources. She checked in with me and my brother several times throughout the planning process, taking care to ensure that she was on the same wavelength as us. During the week of the event, she took charge authoritatively, demonstrating exceptional time-management and organizational skill. She personally contacted every vendor herself to streamline delivery of their goods or services, and answered all of the questions that my brother and I had. And during the event itself, she was absolutely stellar. We didn't want to worry about any logistics, and Ann made sure to run the event smoothly and independently. She has a specific penchant for directing guests with a perfect mix of kindness and assertiveness, which is exactly the skillset needed for someone in her line of work. Her team members were also very professional and attentive; when the venue's staff failed us, Ann's own team members consistently picked up slack, and made sure my brother and I were without concern. Overall, I am proud to give Ann my strongest endorsement. It was my privilege to have worked with her, and I am looking forward to doing so again!

Our wedding happened to be during the World Cup, and since we're both Norwegian-Vietnamese, we wanted to make our grand entrance wearing our Norway jerseys. Ann fully embraced our vision and even brought small Norwegian flags and Norwegian flag garlands for our wedding party. It made for such an epic and memorable entrance, and we loved it! Ann is kind, professional, and incredibly attentive. We felt so calm and stress-free knowing she was there taking care of everything, allowing us to truly enjoy our wedding day. It's a one stop hall so they have the photography and limo services in the package. Limo didn't arrive at the church -_- instead met us at the park.... ummmm can you say discount. That was inconvenient. Photography was good though. Can't bring in liquor....since they sell it there....weak. we unfortunately ran out out beer.....it happens....they don't allow you to bring more....they don't sell beer either so hint bring a grip load of beer. They ran out of water. No wine for you wine drinkers. Oh if you pay with credit card then there is a 30 min :) 0 tolerance for underage drinking. Hall is nice and plenty of room. They broke down the wall that separated two rooms. So now there is a large dance floor. We got it for 250 people so that was nice. Here's where it gets interesting. If more people come....you need to pay for extra tables.... 140 each....we got 5 more. Then they started charging at the door like if it was a damn club(should of got my cut). Then they stopped letting people in even when people were leaving. Some people get out of work late you know and their responds will be "and" Just so you know. I would skip this place guys....real talk..sorry it's long but I wish I knew these things before.
