We had reached out to and had calls with several different decor companies during wedding planning and during our search our priorities quickly became apparent - we wanted to work with a company that had strong communication skills, was focused on putting our preferences first, and would work with us and our budget. By far the best vendor we had for our wedding. Saman with 2Create did the lighting and all the decor for our wedding at the Hilton Waterfront in Huntington Beach and the Sikh Center of Orange County. Saman met with us many times to go over the event details and came with us on several site visits to the venue in San Diego. They provided decor, florals, and rentals for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They even had our dance floor custom painted to achieve the checkered pattern we wanted! For the ceremony they provided huge floral garlands and additional flowers for the alter, pedestal floral arrangements, petals down the aisle, draping, and lighting. They also did a fabric chair treatment and made the cutest wagon for our pets who were in the ceremony. In addition they provided beautiful bouquets and boutonnières. For the cocktail hour they made lovely small floral arrangements for the cocktail tables. For the reception 2Create really went all out with a custom stage design, 60 foot long custom made dance floor, custom bar, lounge furniture, hanging cake table, gold dior and infinity chairs, gold mirror tables, table runners, charger plates and the most incredible floral arrangements I've ever seen. They also did the draping, lighting, signage, and cold sparklers which were so fun! One of my favorite pieces was the gold mirror seating chart for our guests as they came into the ballroom. January 2019 - November 2019 We first reached out to them through email regarding gold Chiavari chair rentals, which were at a great price. While researching, we noticed they also provided beautiful backdrops. We completed a few phone calls to discuss in detail what we were looking for, our budget, and what they could provide. We ended up deciding to use their backdrop for our sweetheart table and move the gobo from our other vendor to shine in the back of the room. Throughout this process, Ali was helpful, such as providing ideas on using a fishing wire string to hang a wooden cut-out of our names behind the sweetheart table. Everything was great until we saw our backdrop on the day of the wedding. We were very disappointed as we had an exact picture from their Instagram page on the design and ended up with a completely different design and color. We even decided to use the backdrop to take pictures with all the guests prior to the start of the reception and was then forced to use it as there were no other alternatives. This review is LONG overdue. First off, I did not book with 2CreateDesigns, however I owe a whole lot to Ali and what he did for me. After being burned 4 times by horrible vendors I had contacted 2CreateDesigns for some gold chiavari chair rentals for my wedding back on Nov. 2014 in SD. I informed Ali of the situation I was in and after meeting with him and making arrangements he realized he had another contract booked for the same weekend and informed me he would not be able to provide the chairs. I was devastated BUT this is where Ali and 2CreateDesigns saved everything. Instead of leaving me out to dry, Ali went out of his way to contact other chiavari chair vendors in the Orange County area for the same if not better price. For several days he called and emailed other vendors until he was able to connect me with someone. I couldn't believe it! To say this company is an absolute nightmare is an understatement. Summary: Booked 2Create Designs 4 months before our wedding (highly referred by our amazing coordinator). Told them what we wanted and our budget. They approved and we signed the contract and gave a hefty deposit. 2 weeks before our wedding 2Create Designs informs us they "won't be able to meet their (our) expectations." 2Create Designs cancels our order, returns our deposit, and leaves us on the verge of flushing 10 months of planning and close to $80,000 of spending down the tubes. Our coordinator (did I mention she's amazing?) came to the rescue by introducing us to an up and coming florist, with absolutely amazing prices and incredible talent. Peachwood Events saved us! Look up Peachwood Events if you're looking for an amazing florist by an extremely talented team, with incredible prices! Unless you're looking to be stressed to the max for your wedding day, DO NOT HIRE 2Create Designs!!! Why even take the chance when there are other florists that can, at the very least, do the same quality of work, but probably much better, and charge way less?! Read the full story below, if you have time. 2Create Designs was recommended to us by our coordinator, who has referred lots of clients to 2Create Deisgns. Our coordinator had nothing but good things to say about 2Create Designs and after checking out yelp's great reviews as well, my fiancé looked at 2Create Designs' website, she found that 2Create Designs has done arrangements similar to what she wants. She called 2Create Designs, told them who she was referred by. My fiancé also told them that she was looking to do something similar to a picture they had on their website. 2Create Designs asked her what her budget was and they confirmed that her budget was definitely enough to do what she was asking for. 2Create Designs wrote up the invoice with all the details, signed it, and we gave them a hefty deposit. We could get the arrangement we were looking for at half the price at other vendors, but being that 2Create Designs and our coordinator had worked together on so many occasions, we figured it would be the best way to go, even if it meant paying double. Fast-forward 4 months (2 weeks before the wedding), 2Create Designs delivers our mockup. It was the absolute worst arrangement I've ever seen (and I'm a guy who doesn't care, nor know much about flowers...but I know cheap and ugly when I see it!). Not only was I disgusted, but the coordinator and my fiancé were both in disbelief at how horrible it was. And most importantly, it was not at all what my fiancé had selected, nor was it what was on the invoice. It looked like they didn't have time to put an arrangement together, so they went to downtown LA and picked up a $10 arrangement with random colors and brought it to the mockup. It was so bad, that the owner never even showed up. Instead she had it delivered by one of her workers. Later that night, the owner of 2Create Designs talks with our coordinator and tells our coordinator "I won't be able to meet their expectations. They're budget is not enough." 2Create Designs then cancels our order and offers to refund our deposit. I was in complete and utter shock as I sat there, numb, and just lost, starring at nothing. All I could see is 10 months of wedding preparations and close to $80,000 spent was about to be destroyed by a heartless, selfish, greedy vendor. Funny how our budget was plenty 4 months earlier and all of a sudden it's not enough two weeks before the wedding. Any bride and groom know that the last two weeks are the absolute craziest as you're trying to tie all the loose ends and make all the final payments. Now throw the need to find a last minute florist into the mix and it's literally Hell on Earth! I wouldn't wish this type of stress on anyone! Our amazing coordinator and Peachwood Events (new florist) came to the rescue, but this could have been extremely tragic. Don't chance it with 2Create Designs. Even though it may be a small chance, don't risk being the couple they end up canceling on last minute. 2CreateDesigns put a white dance floor for my wedding in June. I surprised my wife the day of the wedding with it (she really wanted it), and she LOVED it. She said it changed the whole look of the room. Other guests also made comments saying how much they liked it (I didnt hear one complaint). The first attempt I just left a message and my first thought was, oh here we go again.... Ali called back a few hours later and I explained the 270 chairs I needed. Ali was extremely accommodating as I needed these chairs relocated after the wedding ceremony 45min later into the main reception area.
