We stopped in as fans, we were in town from Seattle and had to give it a try. Its the cutest little shop and the vibes inside are immaculate, the staff was incredibly kind, it was mothers day and my two sons were with me, the woman at the counter was so kind to wish me a happy mothers day and then walked me and the boys to the bathroom without any annoyance or hesitation, it was so sweet! Now on to the sandwiches, we got the reese, cameron and the drew. The Drew was my favorite, the flavors work so well together. My friend and I have been wanting to come here ever since we binged Vanderpump Rules. I love a good sandwich and these did not disappoint. We came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and there were a few other people there but not too busy so we got to sit in a larger booth by the windows. It's an order at the counter kind of place, and we started with a bottle of Avaline Sauvignon Blanc natural wine, and ordered The Cameron and The Kate. The wine was delicious - crisp. A great way to enjoy the vibes of this sandwich shop. The decor is so cute and there are large mirrors on the wall that are great for pics! I did think it would be bigger, just from their tasting party on the show, but it's a different venue and has maybe seven to eight tables inside. Still very nice - lots of natural lighting, and the vibes were perfect for a chill afternoon. The Cameron came with Genoa salami capicollo, mortadella, smoked provolone, pesto aioli, roasted red peppers, sundried tomatoes, banana peppers, red onion, fresh basil, and Italian spices on focaccia. When I say these sandwiches are HEFTY, I am not lying. $18 seemed a bit steep but this sandwich was literally stuffed and SO GOOD. Each bite had a bit of everything - the blend of deli meats, crunchy brineyness from the banana peppers, and sweet/tangy chewiness from the sundried tomatoes. The focaccia was so pillowy on the inside. Lots of great flavors and textures. 8.5/10. The Kate came with burrata (YUM), tomato, red onion, balsamic onion marmalade, pesto aioli, fresh basil, and oregano on a ciabatta roll. The combination of burrata and the balsamic onion marmalade was 10/10. I love a little sweetness in every bite. With the creamy pesto aioli, juicy tomato slices, and fresh basil, this sandwich was my favorite. 9/10. Would definitely pay $16 for this again. Arrived a little before noon on a weekend and the place was hopping but not overwhelmed with people. We ordered at the counter and found a table to sit at while we waited for our food. Seating is a little close - but it is a smaller space so they really tried to maximize it to the best of their ability. Loved the cranberries in the chicken salad and you can never go wrong with anything that has burrata in it. Was obsessed with the flower toothpick so much so that I asked the server where they were from (spoiler you can find them on amazon). While it looks like there is no bathroom - there is one outside and around the building that another staff member guided me to- even with it being out and around the restaurant it was locked and was very clean! No parking but street parking was easy to snag. Came in around 2pm on Saturday afternoon and this place is SO cute but it's really small inside. We were able to get a table inside right away but within 10 mins or so of arriving they had to make a line outside for people waiting to dine in due to the limited space. I ordered The Cameron. It was a hefty sandwich! My only note was if the focaccia has been toasted it would have added more flavor to the sandwich but it was still really delicious. If you are a Pump Rules fan then you will love this place and you may also get siting of Katie or Ari. I absolutely "fan girled" when Katie Maloney served us our food. I did ask for a photo and she said she would return but never did which was a bummer but I get it. Otherwise, the shop is really small, honestly 6 tables small, so makes sense why there is always a line. I will admit though the shop is very cute! It gives off tea, girly vibes and I was there for it. I had visited in June on a Thursday around 2pm and there was still quite a line. We waited almost an hour but we were able to luckily snag a seat before closing at 4pm. The hostess will take your order and have you pay before seating so be sure to know what you want! This is the only reason for a ding in stars as there is no follow up service once seated so if you wanted to order another drink or sandwich you would have to go back up to the hostess which I thought was a bit inconvenient. However, the food was DELICIOUS. I was pleasantly surprised and felt it was reasonably priced. The sandwiches were $16 and up. I ordered the viola ($17) and it was so flavorful and filling! Only gripe was the sourdough was pretty hard so it made it a bit difficult to chew through. My girlfriend ordered the Cameron ($18) and wow she was the star of the show! The ciabatta with the garlic aioli was phenomenal! We also ordered a lover boy and a glass of Cameron Diaz wine which was refreshing and stoked they were selling it. Overall the sandwiches were delicious and would def come back just a bummer they are closed Mondays and Tuesdays which are my days off. I get things might happen but who knows how often this has happened. The kitchen was finally ready like 25 min after they were supposed to open so yeah not a good first impression. The restaurant is a lot smaller than what you see in pictures which wasn't surprising. It's really tiny but the ambiance is just as nice in pictures. You can tell that was their main priority. I got the Cameron because I noticed it's the most popular and I also got the Drew to split a my bf. Def pricey sandwiches. Good, quality sandwiches and filling but not worth that price. The Cameron is so expensive. Almost $20. I get it's the most popular but not worth $18. Everything was flavorful in the Cameron except the bread. It was a little stale and hard to bite off. The Drew was $14 which that's how most quality sandwiches are these days so the Cameron should be $14 not $18. I got the Drew mainly because of the mango jalepeno jam but the goat cheese over powered it. I feel like there should be more of the jam since that's more unique in the sandwich. They have a variety to choose from for drinks. I just went with Olipop and my friend with a spritz. The staff though was accommodating and friendly. Bravo is my vice. I also love sandwiches. SAH definitely checks both of those boxes. I REALLY hoped this would be my new favorite sandwich shop, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The restaurant was as adorable as it looked on VPR and the service was pretty quick. My friends and I got 3 sandwiches to go - The Cameron, The Drew, and The Diane. 1. The Cameron - an Italian sandwich on thick foccaccia. I think this was the best of the three sandwiches we got. I found the foccaccia to be a bit bland and dry. Good foccacia should be soft and fluffy, but this was neither. The components worked well together, but it wasn't anything special. I prefer the Italian sandwich from a few other restaurants across town. 2. The Drew - This one jumped out as the most creative one on the menu. Overall, I felt it was way too sweet, and then all of a sudden, the jalapeño from the mango jalapeño jam takes over. Between the jam, balsamic glaze, and shaved apple, it was too much, and not enough other flavors were able to balance it out. I would've loved more cucumber and maybe some sort of onion? It needed brightness. I'm glad I added prosciutto (who doesn't love it), because it did add some much needed saltiness. The sweetness overpowered the goat cheese, which I really would've loved more of to balance it all out. Overall, though it may sound intriguing, it's poorly balanced, and I would probably not order it again. 3. The Diane - This is their take on a tuna salad sandwich. It's "Sicilian style." Like the Drew, I found this to be poorly balanced. I thought it was too acidic and lacking some crunch and fat. I prefer mediterranean tuna from other restaurants (or even homemade) over this sandwich. Overall, I might come back if a friend from out of town wants to try it, but I prefer other sandwiches around the city. read more
