Although I ran into some issues with the complex management and HOA (not Smart Property), my experience with Smart Property has been for the most part positive. In this day and age, I think it's really important to support these kinds of businesses. As a renter, I would highly recommend renting from them. If you own rental property in the area, I would also seriously consider having them manage it.

And within that same week, Jessica got word of it during a post-closing check in and immediately facilitated the Home Warranty process on our behalf, connecting us with the warranty agent for continuity of care. Literally that next morning, the home warranty agent belonging to the escalations department called apologizing and offered solutions and by the time I got onto my lunch, Jessica had already laid out alternative paths we could take to see our tankless water heater replacement. Jessica by herself is already a one woman team; her remarkable work ethic and constant reliability is incomparable. The home buying process from start to finish and into the extra chapters that come afterwards have been the utmost positive experience because of her.

My mother's health was ailing, and we needed to get her into an assisted living home ASAP. To do so, we needed to sell her house. It was November (with December rapidly approaching), and time was of the essence. I researched the top agents in the Covina area. Narrowed it down to the top 3 and interviewed the top two over the course of two days. We chose Brenda based on her professionalism, warm demeanor, and market knowledge. We hired Brenda on a Monday, she had the photographer at my mom's house on Tuesday, listed her house on Wednesday, and we received our first offer on Friday. We allowed realtors/potential buyers to view her house over the weekend and accepted an offer on Monday. The craziest part about it was that Brenda's daughter was getting married that same Saturday we allowed agents/buyers in. She didn't skip a beat. It was miraculous! This was the first time I've ever sold a home, so I was very nervous. Though she had her own distractions in life, she didn't break stride. Brenda held my hand throughout the entire process and ensured my mom was taken care of as well (giving us referrals for movers, cleaners, etc.). If you're like me, over-researching realtors, STOP.
