This place is definitely the spot for authentic Mexican food just have to be in the area for this location they're fast/friendly/ price efficient! read more

I writing this review regarding an order I placed with Uber eats. I specifically ordered a Somburro bowl with green chili beef. When I received my order it was NOT what I had ordered. It was a plain salad! I tried to contact Uber eats and was told to contact Somburro directly. Uber eats would not refund me because it obviously wasn't their fault. I called Somburro's and all they could say was I'm sorry. I had to drive to Somburro and physically pick up the meal even though I paid money to have it delivered. And then when I picked it up and brought it home, it was missing guacamole. Anyway, Somburros has employees that are incompetent! Beware of ordering through apps and having your order turn out correctly. read more

Very disappointed as me and my family were looking forward to eating here. The restaurant was clean, the staff were unfriendly, especially the cashier, she seems to hate her job or just people in general, she had a severe attitude problem when she had to repeat a question related to her food order to my daughter with hearing loss. The food was bad, the meat was overcooked, there was no potato in the potato taco it was mostly dried out ground beef, the sauce was absolutely disgusting on the enchilada(probably what gave me food poisoning) and the only food that was actually good was the rice and beans which wasn't even part of my meal so that doesn't say a whole lot, plus this was only my issues with my order.. A couple of us ended up with food poisoning so at this point I'm not sure if I'd care about a resolution, you should train your service workers in customer care. I don't think we'll be coming back here any time soon or at least to this location. read more

Fourth visit. Good food every time. Reasonable price for quantity and quality. Highly recommend, only complaint seemed a bit slow prep time but was worth the wait read more

Well they have changed a lot from 4 stars to 1 stars rating. If you mobile order, they'll claim new employees are in training. I ordered a breakfast bacon burrito but got an instant potato wrap, no bacon or eggs just a fried mashed potato wrap. I also ordered a cheese quesadilla and that was another disappointment, no cheese. I apologize for misleading customers with the 4-star rating. It hasn't really been 3 months and supposedly the only manager 20-something or early 30-something (age) claiming these are her grandmother's recipes. I'm her grandmother's age but I am not physically able to do the cooking like I used to. Why scam with mobile ordering! And sometimes walk-in ordering. :( You are already getting overpaid for tortillas without anything else in it or barely anything else. That is why now I go and went back to Salad and Go next door who have been there over a year. ;)) read more

Appears as if the kitchen staff are still learning the menu. Ordered a Hacienda salad without corn and tortilla strips along with a #6 (cheese enchilada plate) with NO onion. Salad came with cucumber and meat only, enchiladas were filled with onion. Returned the enchiladas to the manager who gladly remade the plate. Unfortunately, the tortillas were so tough, you couldn't cut through it! My family frequents the east valley locations, THIS is not the Someburros standard. Disappointed. read more

I was excited to try this place as I watched it being slowly built next to my favorite taco shop. When I finally went in for some tacos and anything else that might peak my interest, I decided on the taco trio, with pollo asada and carne asada. I also ordered a side of rice. The food was bland and zero flavor. The biggest kicker is they charge for green salsa for the tacos. I'll never be back. read more

I was excited to try Someburros but was disappointed in the food quality. My pollo asada burrito was mainly beans. My daughter ordered nachos which was also mostly beans. Food is not very good. My husband ordered the pollo fundido and the chicken was canned chicken. Disappointing as the place is decorated super cute and is super close to my house. Won't be going back. read more

Was around the area decided to see what the hype was all about with this restaurant. Ordered a carne asada burrito with a horchata and a plain churro at the drive thru. First thing was the horchata first sip was disgusting tasted nothing like horchata the texture was weird as well, didn't even have cinnamon in it just looked like a cup of milk 0/10. Had to drive back to ask for a new drink such an inconvenience. Next up the burrito, overly greasy, one of the greasiest burritos I ever had for sure, wasn't even half good 0/10. Last up was the churro, it was so doughy there was more cinnamon and sugar at the bottom of the paper bag it come in the actual churro 0/10. Honestly the food was horrible all around but the place was nice. This plaza has so much more food options save your money and go elsewhere. read more

I love everything! Good food, cute interior, drive-thru and reasonable prices. Very excited to have this place close by. Thank you for the service with a smile! read more

I watched this place get built, so I was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. I ordered the Someburros bowl with pollo asado and a churro. There was nothing special about the bowl, the beans were undercooked, the rice was over cooked, and I was lucky enough to find an avocado stem in the guacamole, so that was unpleasantly surprising. The churro was even more disappointing, as there was zero cinnamon sugar on it, and it genuinely tasted like it had been sitting around for at least a day. The only decent part about this meal was the chicken, as it had some flavor to it. Overall, this meal was not worth the amount of money that I paid for it. Therefore, I will not be returning to this restaurant. read more

Went in for the first time spent almost $100 and the tostada was the worst looking tostada I've ever seen barley any beans the cheese enchiladas where just gross I was not impressed at all rather went to Filiberto's the food was not good at all I should have saved my money!!! My kids love carne asada and didn't even eat their burritos!!!! All the workers where sitting there chatting it up! Save your money and eat somewhere different! read more

Someburros - Mexican Near Me - Peoria, Arizona

worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. The service was super fast but that was the only good thing. The hamburger on the taco had no flavoring, the "salsa "was in a ketchup bottle and was worthless, the tamale looked like a burro covered in beef gravy and didn't have any corn in it at all, my burrito had chunks of beef in gravy and that was it. The rice and beans were just OK. I brought most of it home just so I could spice it up with some salsa and sour cream and then it was pretty good. We will never, never go back. What a disappointment! read more

Horrible food horrible service the food was so disgusting it's like they don't care on how. They cook the food the drinks we even horrible it took me 3 times to fix my drink ended up with water this is a never go again place get new recipes or cooks your restaurant sucks your asking to get people very sick will be calling health dept asap read more

I love me some Someburros! Everything I've had there has been delicious and I've already been quite a few times since they've opened. It's nice to have restaurant quality food but faster and reasonable prices. Their cheese enchiladas and avocado tostadas are my fave. The flavored lemonades and cherry dessert chimis are super delicious too. Yes they're new and working out kinks but that's to be expected with a new place with new staff. read more

Asked for the giant 1/2 gallon margarita in a bag that they advertise, apparently they sell only the margarita mix?? That's a new one lol. Food was bland, portions are small, tacos are so oily. The chicken they used in the chicken taco tasted like straight fish, I'm assuming they don't change the oil in the fryer Don't waste your money read more

Normally I have an okay experience here, but tonight was a joke. Brand new location and the food is progressively worse every time I come. My green chili beef & bean burrito had one small piece of meat in it. Just straight beans and the smallest pinch of green chili. How is that worth $8. I'd rather go to chipotle at that point. And whoever is wrapping the burritos needs to find a new job. read more

My family was excited to visit the New Someburros location on Thunderbird in Peoria. Unfortunately We were very disappointed. Although the place itself is setup with cute decor and unlimited fountain drinks after first purchase, the food was not good. We ordered 4 different dishes and no one in our group were happy with their meal. My husband meal was way too salty. My order (Tostado salad) was just not good at all. My shell was over cooked and the meat was not good at all. I had 3 spoonfuls of it and tossed it. Even our 8 yr old and 15 yr old were not happy with their meals. They really need to work on their recipes. We will not be back read more

We met some friends here for dinner, and enjoyed the ambience and the food. The service was really good and we earned a card to come back and enjoy a free burro. read more

First Visit: I wanted to try their Burritos ordered Red - Green - Bean & Cheese 1. burritos are so small 2. tortillas are soaked with grease 3. Cheese wasn't even melted in the bean burrito 4. took forever to get 3 greasy burritos. 5. Manager very Rude I tried to explain to manager that the Burritos were so greasy that it was disgusting to eat. I paid 20.00 for these 3 burritos. He gave me 3 coupons for a FREE BURRITO when you purchase a Drink. I tried to redeem them and to my surprise same Manager said I could only redeem one at a time with drink! I even showed him my original receipt! He said he remembered the order but said i can only reorder one at a time with Drink.. MY OPINION: Stick to FREDERRICKO'S read more

We made a catering order for a baby shower at our home. They failed to include two items in the order requiring a second trip. Three other people were there trying to straighten out their orders and apparently, the employees thought it was funny. We had chicken and beef Taquitos with many missing the chicken and beef. The quesadilla consisted of two tortillas with almost no cheese. Overall very poor. I left a tip when I made the order and now I wish I had not because the food was awful. Next time, throw the shower on Saturday so we can use Carolina's. read more

We love the food and are used to the 7th St location where we never had an issue. We were excited when this site opened as it's a bit closer to us. We love the food but the service and execution is awful. We've been here 5 times since opening and 3/5 times, items were missing and/or cheese was in food we asked for no cheeses due to an allergy. The reaction is poor and without apology. Owners need to get involved and re-train the team. read more

We waited almost 2 hours for food and everyone's food came out 30-40 minutes apart or not at all so we cancelled the missing orders and left. read more

I really like this place. Wife and I are early 60's and enjoy coming here. Food is surprisingly good. Been here 3 times. All good breakfast to dinner. Employees are really nice especially the cashiers. The way they interact with us is great. Sometimes we slightly older people unsure what we are ordering!! All good. Prices are good as well. The ambiance has so far been great. No issues. Thanks !! read more

Pollo fundido was great! Service was fast and friendly. Can't wait to bring the family back.

Today I went to someburros to try their Pollo Fundido and it was amazing. Also I got a carne asada burro and I was making some changes in my order and the manager Jonathan was really patient and attentive with me and the rest of my family. read more

I really want to love this place but they're way too slow. If you place an order for a certain time to be picked up you're guaranteed to way an extra 20 mins. The food is good but not worth the wait. read more

We went last night for my daughters school fundraiser and even though it was busy the staff served us hot food that had a beautiful presentation and was absolutely delicious. Our wait was not even that long. I absolutely love the donkey on their sign and the decoration of the Hispanic culture as well as their decorations for Christmas gave the building such an inviting feel and look. It was very beautiful in there. The tables were never dirty for long because I saw that they had one person in charge of table clean up and she was on top of it making sure the restaurant didn't look dirty and opening up tables for incoming customers. We had the taco salad, rod burro, and my kiddo had the taco combo kids meal. For dessert we had the dessert chimis in apply, cherry, and chocolate. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend coming here. Also they have a seasonal albondigas soup that I really want to try next time I go. Enjoy! read more

Today I went to Someburros with my family because they had the been burritos in offer and they were the best. I also got a carne asada burro and I made some changes in the burrito and the managers Jonathan and Galia were really patient with me and the rest of my family with our orders. read more

I'm really surprised there aren't any 4 stars reviews for Someburros. For being a "fast food" restaurant, the decor is very nicely done, always clean, and the food is exceptional. It's a pleasure to eat in, if you don't want to take out! The Peoria location is new and has had some opening issues, but give them a chance. You won't be sorry. read more

Here's my honest opinion. Arizona has horrible Mexican food....but if you live here, you know that. So when I saw this place being built I had high hopes and low expectations. The food is good! But it is pretty expensive. To feed my man and myself it was $30, and we didn't get a drink or extras. In my opinion that's pretty expensive. The service is ok. Oh l have learned a hack too! Skip the drive through. It ends up taking forever and when you eat inside you get free chips and salsa but not when you do pick up. I know this place isn't as authentic as it could be, but the workers literally don't even know how to say half the food names which is cringy. Also the ambiance inside is nice and clean. read more

My mother and I visited this place today and all I can say is pack your patience. I'm not exaggerating when I say it took it over 30 minutes for the two of us to get our food. I talked to one of the staff members after waiting 15 minutes for our food and asked for an ETA. They simply said sorry and "we're running behind". I went to back to the table and waited some more and to watch other guests get served by guests that arrived after us with their food. To make matters worse one of the tables was for a group of six. After returning to the counter a second time to request a time on my food now they told me "they were waiting on the taco." I went back to my table and waited more and then the food finally arrived. The rice and beans were ice cold and the burrito was Luke warm. Rather then sending it back and waiting on god knows how long for them to recook it I swallowed it down and left. This place ranks right up there with Carolinas as far as ticket times and waiting for your food. read more

Me and my girlfriend and my youngest son went last weekend for our first time and it was a very terrible experience. The overall taste of everything was not satisfying at all. They messed up my son's order and I had to remake it. They told my girlfriend her mini Chimi Platter included sour cream and she asked for bell peppers and onions inside. None of that was included, and when she asked for sour cream, the man said he would have to charge extra for it. There was no available clean silverware so we had to go ask for it and they gave us plastic forks. There were at least two other families, complaining, and having food remade, I will say it was pretty packed so things do get hectic but I would much have rather spent my $45 elsewhere. read more

I have gone there twice once at there grand opening and today. Both times they had messed up my order after repeating it to me twice, but yet still got it wrong. I expected to have something messed up the first time because it was a new place but the second time I was surprised. In my first order I asked for beans in my burrito and they only gave me meat and then the second time the same thing happened but I also ordered a chimichanga combo and a some burro bowl and instead they gave me two chimichanga combos, and I ordered shredded beef chimichangas and THEY GAVE ME CHICKEN INSTEAD. I called and they gave me a refund and a $25 credit but I realized after I called that my "beef" chimichanga was actually chicken. read more

Do not recommend, I could have made better food buying from the grocery store warming it up . Very generic!
