This was my first time ordering from Someburros in Peoria. The food was delicious! The prices are fair. The wait time is fair. The inside was clean and decorative. Our family ordered the shredded chicken tacos, shredded beef tacos, mini chimichangas, rice, beans, and taco salads. Everything was great! Zach who took my order was very helpful and patient with me as I had never ordered with them before, so I had lots of questions. I will definitely be back! I was really looking forward to this location opening. So much so that I even put their opening day on my calendar. Plans came up. It ended up being a couple of weeks after opening before I could check Someburros out. Inside decor is cute. Bright pops of color. Mexican and Arizonan influences. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There are a LOT of kinks to be worked out. Some larger than others. To go orders are taking a long time. My order of a burrito with rice and beans took 25 minutes. Another couple who was waiting for their order waited 30 minutes. People who ordered through the drive thru were being told to park. Their orders were being delivered to their car. The self-serve drink area needed to be cleaned. There were cups for hot sauce, but no hot sauce to fill them with. Thankfully, they did include two cups in my bag. Both were the same flavor. I'm not sure if they carry more than one variety. Hot sauce has a pleasant burn. It was my favorite part of the meal. Rice was flavorful. Beef in my burrito was extremely wet. Not saucy, wet. The underside was soggy. Each bite had clear liquid/broth running down my arm. The burrito was a mess to eat. It just tasted like a watered-down burrito. I may give Someburro's another try, but it will probably be some time before doing so. read more

The women who had been in front of me in line got their food. Then an order went out the Drive Thru. Then another. Then another one. A BIG ONE. The two women got in line and ordered. And they got THEIR food. When they finally handed me my order I asked if someone could explain why people who came in after me already had their food. "Well...no....I mean...maybe. The tacos are decent but not all that, too skimpy for the price. The green chile burro enchilada style was horrible! The meat was skimpy plus the green chile didn't taste like green chile, and the enchilada sauce was No flavor at all, and not much cheese at all. I had never been there before. Went Thursday 7/24. I was trying ask a few questions about a few things on the menu. The I believe it was the manger that helped me, because he sat behind us in the booth doing paper work with his laptop after the rush got over. My rolled chicken tacos were the worst I have ever ate. No taste soggy, and cold in the middle. I only ate one. I don't think they make them there, I think they were microwaved. The customer services need help. I have eaten at this location twice in the last month. I go here for a specific item so I am not sure how the rest of their food is. The red chili burrito w/beans wet is damn good. Savanna had the Bacon egg cheese burrito! Tastes great , yet greasy. I was unable to eat here due to cross contamination. They are a gluten friendly establishment. I do not recommend if you have severe allergy or celiac. The do have a few gluten friendly items on the menu yet all are prepared in same area. The chips are the only item on the menus totally gluten free and in their own fryer. They were all friendly and greeted with smiles. Unfortunately, service is slow. They do not appear understaffed as there are 6 employees working. However everything is made to order which could be cause for the delay. We waited 20 minutes. They do have a drive through which would be nice if you're on the go, yet I have noticed cars waiting. The atmosphere is nice and tables are spaced for privacy. We came through drive through tonight and got some food items with meat inside. One of us got ground beef potato tacos and the meat smelled like sweaty socks, like it was absolutely rotten meat. Of course that made the rest of us weary of our food and it was all thrown away... $40.00 wasted. We usually love this location, but yikes someone hasn't been checking the quality of the meat. read more

I was so excited to try this place when I saw that we would be getting one here in Peoria. But it's pretty bad. The food was not good at all. My burrito was pretty much only tortilla, they put the smallest amount of food in it. I also ordered a bean burrito for my son. Well, that's something that's pretty hard to mess up right? Nope I guess not. You CANNOT put runny beans in a burrito!!! I had to end up throwing it away because there's no way my toddler could eat it. Not even an adult would want to eat it. At at Someburros today for the second time. I am not exactly impressed, although it was better today than the last time I was there. The enchiladas seem like they are made with to thick of a tortilla. They are way too firm. I like that they package the tacos separately so they don't get mushy. The enchilada sauce is flavorful. We have been to Someburros twice since it opened recently. Both times they screwed up the orders. The first time my wife ordered a green chile burro. They gave her a green chile and bean burro. I told the waitress about it. She got the person in charge and he said that was what I ordered. I told him it was not, but he wouldn't do anything about it. He was rude to me. He screwed up and entered the wrong thing in the computer. The second time we both ordered a green chile burro and they put beans in both of them again. I didn't notice until I had eaten about a third of it. I thought they just made unremarkable green chili. I checked the receipt and it showed just green chili, no beans. I didn't bother talking to them because it was the same guy and I didn't get anywhere with him the last time. I had high hopes for this place when they opened, but I have learned a lesson. I want to love Someburros so badly but I'm on the fence! The favors are pretty on point. Some of the presentation & preparation is different...not bad...not great. I enjoyed the crunch & taste of the chicken taquitos! But I asked the cashier if it comes with lettuce & tomato; she assured me there's "garnish". Once I got home, they were naked haha. I hooked it up with my own lettuce & pico and enjoyed it. Their guac is delicious! I will explore the menu a bit more. It's also very hot and smoky inside for dine-in. Went with friends to try a new Mexican restaurant. They have recently opened. When we got there the parking lot was full so we waited and someone came out and we got that spot. Our friends were not so lucky that had to park off the property and walk in. On walking in there was two tables available. We sat down and decided on want to get. I always start with a green chili burrito. This is also one of my favorites. My wife got a tostado and cheese enchilada. To order you go though a line and order then back to the table and wait. The wait was not long. The food was hot and tasted good. My only observation out of the norm was the tortilla was a little tougher that I am used to. Not sure if I am ok with that or not yet. If you are going to pick it up with your hands and eat it is a big plus. Most places you can't pick up the burrito with your hands as the tortilla is too thin. I cut mine up as that is how I always do. Next time maybe I will try picking it up to eat. Layout of the store is lots of tables inside to sit at. One thing is it is very noisy. Hard to carry on a conservation. When the temperature drops they have outside seating. Bottom line. Everyone liked their meal. The service was excellent. Fifth time ordering today and I have no clue what happened. I made an online order and picked it up. Took it to my office and the tortilla was so overcooked I couldn't bite into it. I called and ask that they make a replacement. I went back and showed them the burrito and the guy apologized and threw it in the trash. He gave me my replacement burrito with no offer or anything else as goodwill, not even a drink, so I went on my way. I'm back at my office now with a burrito almost half the size of usual. They obviously don't want my business so I'll stay away. We bought a burrito, Mexican pizza and tostado. The burrito was all tortilla and very little bean and about 2 small pieces of carne asada. The Mexican pizza looked like someone had a stomach ache and popped a squat in the box. We thought this was a joke when we got home. Didn't eat anything from this $30 meal. Flavor was sub par. I ordered the chicken chimichanga with a side of rice and beans and my son and husband ordered the pollo asada combo plate. Everything was so delicious. The red salsa is "fire" according to my son. Even the next day the leftover beans and rice fit into a homemade tortilla perfectly.The beans remind me of my abuelas. So good! Will definitely be back here.
