Visited to buy my twice yearly undies update and experienced excellent service from Valeria. I was a little disappointed with the availability of colours in their silicone edged range in Medium but there was enough to make a buy 3 get 2 free purchase. I tried a sale dress on in the changing rooms and they were tidy and clean, as was the shop. They had boxes of undies on sale and I did browse through them but none appealed as they didn't have the silicone edge. They are the only undies I can wear comfortably and they are the only ones I wear. Since I live on Maui I usually order online but I do love visiting this store when Im in CA so I choose in person. read more

I came in hot at 6:17pm on a Sunday evening. I locked eyes with Leah, and before I had even reached her, I said, "I'm here to get fitted, buy three bras, and go." She put down a pile of panties she had in her hands, looked me straight in the eyes and said, "okay" but in a "copy that, let's roll!" kind of way. She then proceeded to take long and fast strides to the dressing room, whipped out her measuring tape (*SNAP*), and got to it. In an instant, she told me my size, I told her what I wanted, tried on whatever she gave me, and then I was at the cash register. I have never experienced such horrendous customer service as I did with Soma. Their support team is completely useless--slow to respond, unhelpful, and lacking even the most basic knowledge about their own products. I had an issue with an order, and after spending hours on hold, I was finally connected to someone who clearly had no interest in resolving my problem. Instead of offering a solution, they gave me vague answers and transferred me to another department--where I was promptly disconnected. After multiple attempts to get help, I finally gave up. My order was wrong, and Soma refused to take responsibility. They wouldn't issue a refund or even acknowledge their mistake. The level of incompetence is staggering. If you value your time, money, or sanity, avoid this company at all costs! read more

I love the products which is why I shop Soma. What wasn't good today was when I ordered online it stated that it was curbside pick up. Not so. I went into the store to pick up my order and the bag was given to me without tissue paper to cover my items. That hasn't ever happened to me at all Soma store. The items are worth the price. I met Tiffani at Soma because I needed some bras for dancing and just life in general and she was amazing! Took my measurements and explained to me why I had been wearing my bras wrong my whole life! I am now proud to say I know my correct size and how to perfectly put on my new bras. She was so kind and funny and helpful throughout the bra buying process. Thanks to Tiffani, I'm so much more educated about my body. Honestly, this girl is so passionate about her job. She should really be promoted or given a raise for the level of customer service she gives to her clientele. Tiffani, you rock! Please keep your passion for this alive. I do not like bra shopping and usually end up wearing a bra that does not fit well and isn't flattering . I had such a great experience at Soma! Tiffany helped me choose bras that are comfortable, practical, and sexy. It feels so good to feel comfortable in a bra. I don't feel like I want to burn my bra at the end of the day. The fabric is soft and beautiful. Allow yourself some time to try on different styles and find the perfect fit. It's worth the time and effort. Also, my husband loved the look too. My mom needed a bra for a party she will be attending tomorrow and Tanya stepped in to help my mom and she made my mom feel so comfortable and was very helpful towards her that she offered something better for my mom to wear. From the manager to the employees, they are rude, disrespectful. Not helpful or interested in selling anything. I don't recommend this location. You are better off going to Soma in Manhattan Beach at the Manhattan Village. The manager and every single employee are courteous, respectful, professional, and helpful beyond measure. Not sure what happened to the people at Del Amo Fashion Square, but they are messed up and the store is filthy, messy and they don't carry good inventory as opposed to the Manhattan Village location. As for returns...I don't even want to get started...total jerks. I won't shop at this location again! read more

I give it two stars only because of what it used to be for so many years and because their products used to be amazing. I walked in and was immediately pressured by two people, I don't want that much attention or pressure when looking for underwear in public. They would not let up and asked what I was looking for, they then told me what I wanted is no longer made by Soma and the directed me to the sales rack where icky tacky overly adorned bras in gigantic sizes were hanging. I asked if they had any plain beige ones and if they had any minimizers. Then I was insulted and they looked at each other when I told them my size. I did not need that commentary and eye drama. Yes, some of us want minimizers even if we are not G cups. No, not all of us what sexy underwear, shocking in 2022 indeed. They said "No no no, that style is long gone, we are upping our game." If you say so, personally I think it has gone down hill and I will not return anytime soon. Just looks and feels cheap now and the attitude was the deal breaker. read more

I've seen a couple of reviews about the bras here and saw that they specialize in bigger sizes which is always hard for me to find. I went in thinking I was a 40DD and the really sweet, helpful lady name Diane measured me to find out I was a 40DDD/ 40G. Which was a huge surprise but I kinda expected it. She gave me about 4-5 different bras to try on which they all fit amazing! She was very attentive in going in the dressing room and seeing how they fit and making me feel comfortable in what she gave me. Walked out with two bras which weren't cheap but hey you get what you pay for and I couldn't be happier and with such amazing support! Definitely coming back! read more

Had a very wonderful and pleasant here at soma Delamo. Val helped me. She measured me, asked what I was looking for and we got straight to it. Long story short, I tried on 4 bras, and I bought 3 of them. Val made me feel very comfortable and hit the nail right on the head. Not only did I buy 3 bras but I bought 12 pairs of underwear. 6 for $36. To top it off %25 off the whole store. I left the store with spending a little over $200 and a smile because I'm actually excited to wear my nice new things that fit just right! read more

So disappointed. The woman who fitted me was super clueless and acted like my boobs were being difficult or something. Turns out she didn't know what she was doing. After an excruciatingly long time finding some bras that worked for me, I found a couple that fit okay ("okay" being what I'm used to, being a large-busted woman). They weren't cheap. One day, about 6 months later, I was putting on my black bra, and out of nowhere the strap snapped off. The connector just broke - it was cheap plastic. Having flimsy little connectors on straps of fuller-size bras is absurd. Can't believe I didn't notice that detail, but at the time I bought them I was desperate. So I sent an email to their customer service dept, because I don't feel like 6 months is an acceptable life span for a bra that costs more than $50. The response was that they have a 90-day warranty. Absurd. I went to an actual lingerie boutique to replace the defective bra, where I was measured properly. The sizing was so far off it wasn't funny. The Soma employees do not understand fitting, and the bras are cheap. Also, Soma bras lack depth in the cups. There's just not much good about them. Don't bother with this place. read more

For the first time ever I got a good bra that fits perfect and I finally know what my size is with out having to guess my whole life I've bought bras from Walmart or Ross because they are cheap. If you are ever second guessing yourself on buying a more expensive bra do it because it's so worth it. Take care of your ta-tas!! Side note the ladies here were wonderful! I've been shopping at Soma Del Amo since the store opened, and Seal Beach before that. I have always received wonderful service from the different sales women. They are very patient and they really do know their product. Today I went in to purchase a couple of new bras because I've lost some weight. I was assisted by a young woman named Irina who not only brought several sizes in but also selected a few styles I would have never considered for fit and comfort. Needless to say her choices were the most comfortable and I ended up with those. She also printed on the receipt the last date I could return the items if I changed my mind. No pressure ever. I keep coming back to Soma because they design well made beautiful bras that last for years. I'm also very large busted and they always have a huge selection in my size. It's been over a year since I have bought a new bra. I'm going out of town and needed a strapless bra ASAP. My go to is Fredrick's of Hollywood so I went to the website to look up the hours and sales of the one in Del Amo mall only to find out that they are closed. So I stumbled across Soma Intimates. I was a lil hesitant of a new place but I was strapped for time. Coincidently that same week I saw on Twitter that Soma was a good bra place and they were even donating bras to battered women. Being really into Public Service I was like ok, I will try. I went on my lunch break and it was better than I could imagine. The store was clean, organize and smelled good. I walked in and was greeted right away. I asked if they did fitting and she said yes. Lead me to a very nice dressing room right away. I was in between sizes so she brought me the next size up and the size below. The clerk was very nice. I am so bad with names but the receipt says Denia. She was pleasant and patient. She even remained me to so a lil shimmy and a bend over move in the bra to make sure it was the perfect fit. I haven't been braless in front of another woman in years so that was kind of weird at first. I later joked with my husband about how I had a low key semi affair at the mall on my lunch break. LOL. Anyway, the bra was amazing as well as the service. I will be back for sure. read more
