I love the style of clothes here, I'm not 21 so I need casual clothes that can work for home and going out with my husband and/or son. They have to be versatile and not being worn by everyone I see. Evereve really fits the bill! I feel modern and comfortable but stylish. I also feel like it's about the little details here. The shopping bags are beautiful, they take care in wrapping your purchase with tissue paper and put your receipt in a cute envelope. Only downside is that they have sizes 0-16. It would be nice to see a wider range of offerings in store, as some brands that they sell only go up to certain size- like a 14 pant or a large (no XL). Many brands are becoming more size inclusive and to not do so by a woman run company, is a shame. Hope that can change down the line at some point. Still 5 stars for me!

She spent the better part of an hour selecting and sizing outfits, shoes, and accessories for me (I haven't shopped in so long I was down 2 pant sizes from what I thought I was wearing....), all the while the rest of the staff managed to keep my 4 year old entertained. I did stop by the Cherry Creek store in December but I didn't see much I liked at the time. Not sure if they were between inventory or what, but I was definitely pleased with my visit to the AG store and I will definitely return. 1) Don't be afraid to bring your kiddos - there is a play section in the back corner of the store with toys and they also have goldfish crackers in case your kiddo gets a snack attack 2) Let them choose outfits for you! I'm a horrible shopper and always think I know what would look good on me, but they are the pros so let them help you out. Go in, have fun, spend money, get some clothes! As with any retail store, you can definitely spend a lot but Joan was aware of my budget and helped me find sale stuff in addition to regular priced stuff. Good luck!

We walked into the store around midday today, and despite the fact that there were three workers all behind the counter socializing and having their own fun connecting, no one bothered to greet us or ask if we needed help. About 20 minutes into our experience whereby I was specifically looking for an insulated rain coat I was hoping to walk away with that day, I asked these workers if the one I was looking for was something they carried in their store. One of the workers proceeded to help me, but they did nothing more that look in the exact same places I had looked and then they suggested that I go to Colorado Mills Eddie Bauer Outlet Store to shop (which is a good trek away from the Aspen Grove location). At no time did they call any other stores for me hoping to locate the jacket I was searching for with the offer of having the jacket mailed to my home. They returned to the front where they continued to socialize while I looked some more through the discounted rack. When I returned to the front of the store ready to buy a sweater, they told me the best they could do was to suggest I look online which I did when I returned home (I accidentally left my phone at home). That's when I discovered that the EXACT jacket I was looking for (same size and color) was at the Aspen Grove store. These workers and particularly the one helping me felt put out that I needed help, they were not friendly, and they were mostly dismissive and rude. Despite the fact that I like Eddie Bauer products, I will not be shopping at this store again.

I meandered into New Balance and have not looked back. I, being of a certain age, require a high cushion shoe. I love the 1080 for my high mileage exercise. NB also makes comfy "lifestyle" shoes that are super cute. Some of their shoes are still made in the US, which supports US manufacturing, provides jobs, and creates a lower carbon footprint since the shoes don't have to be shipped from overseas to the US to be sold. Score! My favorite made in the USA shoe id the 990. They do a great job of fitting you at this store-- not just in length, but also width and foot shape. They have a machine you stand on that will tell them where you put your weight, how high/low your arches are, etc. You can choose to get inserts to help support your feet and keep you moving as comfortably as possible. I recommend doing all of this and seeing if your body thanks you. They also sell a limited amount of clothing and accessories. They are very happy to order anything for you if they don't have it in the store. Pro tip: if you order NB online you cannot return merchandise to the store because they are independently owned. It is best to go to the store and have them order it all for you. It can be shipped straight to your house so there is no need for pickup. This also supports a local business! Lastly, I need to pitch the lace for the cure program. NB donates 5% of each Lace up for the cure item sold to breast cancer research. They make a minimum donation of $500,000. As a breast cancer survivor I am both appreciative and thankful for their generosity.

What I didn't realise that I had FOUR, not TEN, days to pick my order up. The check-out page in the newbalance.com website shows that the order would be held for ten days. I was one day late and missed the pick-up. When I showed up, the store claimed not to have my order anymore. Really??? That fast in getting rid of my order??? I contacted New Balance customer service to complain. Apparently, this store policy conflicted with New Balance's 10-day hold. Then, my pre-authorisation payment was held up (could be up to seven days). So, I have decided to report the discrepancy with the store and corporate policies to FTC and Better Business Bureau because it involves my money that hadn't been released to my bank account for five days.
