Helpful, energetic and friendly customer service on a busy Saturday! I will acknowledge that other negative comments mention not being greeted, that is a parental preference. Frankly I'm one who doesn't care to be greeted or offered help, if I need either I will initiate. I prefer silence and being left alone, not hounded as some stores do. The staff was great! Service was horrendous. I walked in and wasn't acknowledged. I had items to try on and I had to ask the girl about trying them on. She motioned over where the rooms were. Never once asked me if I needed help. Then once I decided what I wanted I took to the register and the girl behind the register did not speak to me. Not thank you, not have a good day .. . nothing. What a disappointing experience. If you put on a 36 DDD on the tightest hook, that is NOT the same size as a 34 DDD. The cup size is not the same! I can't even believe someone working in the sale and fitting of bras would be trained like this. read more

Love this place. Used to be a Victoria's Secret girl and have now grown up to appreciate cloud soft material and amazing support in lieu of extra wiring, uncomfortable cupping and unnatural push up fill out. This location was extremely helpful in attending to my needs. The staff spent time to exchange my bras without any hesitation. Normally I buy all my bras at Nordstrom. I was drawn to this place based on a front close bra I noticed in a magazine. I love a front close bra It mean that you don't struggle with a back closure for 5 minutes. Front close make sense, but normally a front closure always comes with a stupid racer back. There is no logical reason those two things have to go together and it drives me crazy. Anyway, Soma offers a front close bra with a normal back and almost seamless. I went in and picked one up. On my way to the bra area, I noticed sun dresses and some incredibly soft sleepwear. They sell clothes? Yes and I picked up a super soft knit dress for $15 on the sale rack. But the service was non-existent for me, a blue jean and fleece clad girl, and the service was superb for the three individual, well dressed women who were also shopping. When it came time to check out, however, the gal was sweet as pie. So, long story short, the store is amazing, expensive, but amazing, and I think you'll get better service if you wear expensive clothes and sport a superior attitude. read more

Came here looking for a strapless bra for prom, and I was very happy with my experience! While I wish I would've been attended to a little more quickly, I understand they were busy so no biggy. The lady helping find the right fit was nice and very helpful. I appreciated the fact that she brought me the lower price options before putting me in the higher priced items, so I knew she wanted me to find the best bra for the best price. I walked past this place on my way to Victoria's Secret, that's actually how I found it. It's like a VS for grown ups. When you're past the teenager-stage of your life. I like VS but the diamond studded thongs in my face everytime I walk in make this mother of 3 feel just a little out of place. Enter Soma. Wow! The bras are so high quality and comfortable! Amazing! The prices are about the same as VS. I signed up for their email list online and got a coupon before I went in. I would have been able to rate a 5 but the sales girl was really a little pushy for my taste. She seemed really disappointed when I found a bra on the sale rack and bought it instead of and not in addition to the full price one that she helped me find. She continued to hound me about the bra at the checkout and had answers for my polite objections. I hate that! Like she's selling me a car! What a turnoff. Anyway, I'm willing to mostly overlook it because I know it's only one person and I really like the stuff I got here. I have shopped at Soma for over three years now. This is the first time shopping at the 119th store. The woman who initially helped me was friendly and helpful and when she didn't know the answer she went and asked her manager for help. This review is for the return of one of the bras I purchased. The woman who was processing my return (who I believe was the store manager) asked me if I was only returning 1 bra. I replied yes, I took the tags off the other after testing the bra for an hour and decided it would be an ok fit. I then went on to tell her that after a few hours I really disliked the bra. It felt and fit horrible after moving around in it and the straps fell off. That's why I was returning the 2nd bra. She looked at me with a smirk on her face and said, "Well that's what happens with bras." She didn't even offer to help look for a different style bra. She was so rude and had no concern and didn't care a customer was leaving her store because of a poor fitting bra. I will never shop this store again. I knew the store policies about returns and did not even ask for a refund or exchange for the bra I cut the tags off of. I simply shared why I was only returning 1 of 2 bras. I love Soma Intimates, but I usually buy online. I went into this store, hoping to draw as little attention to myself as possible, but was pleasantly engaged by a nice sales associate. When I knew the color names and style names better than she did, she complimented me, but didn't ask the obvious question, if the purchases were for me. I think she figured it out. She didn't ask me if I wanted to try on the dress I was looking for when she found one that wasn't in my size, but she didn't pretend as if I was buying it for someone else, either.
