She checked on me often and I handed her the swimsuits that either did not work or needed a different size to try on. I finally narrowed it down to one bikini and I asked for her opinion on how it looked. I was happy with my find! I thanked her for her help. The material of the bathing suit is very good quality and the store offers bathing suits in a varied array of colors, styles, and sizes. I am not sure however how many plus sizes they have though. They also have tops to go over the bathing suit. The store was smaller than I expected it to be but the selection was nice. It would have been nicer to have a much larger store with a bigger selection but I got what I needed and overall I had a great experience shopping here. Bathing suits here are at a higher price point than at a store like Target but the sizes are more specific to bra cup sizes and the quality of the swimsuits are excellent. I will say that in my last few visits I have encountered Tina's daughter who is the perfect combination of direct and personable. She possesses both the patience and the skill to reach a wider customer base. I recommended Tina's to a close friend who shared that her interaction with Tina was not the best, but Tina's daughter stepped in and was wonderful so she will be a repeat customer. They have a good selection, alterations are done on site and the expertise is not easy to find elsewhere.

My personnel file is no longer available. I came in a while back and called which the representatives were unable to pull previous notes. My new current file has my name spelled wrong which makes it difficult to location my information. I gave my correct spelling which no one has updated my file to date. Busted Bra Shop will not repair or adjust any bras purchased at this location. That was one perk I loved about Bras Galore given these Bras were pretty pricey! If you purchased a bra (Bras Galore) and have to make adjustments later on they would do it free of charge. I found this useful when you realize after purchasing you need straps adjusted especially if you lose weight or hooks need to be replaced. I recently called about maternity bras which seemed to be a challenge to obtain info. The rep was not clear and I had to ask to speak to someone else. Let's be clear if you never purchased maternity bras your hope is to obtain clear guidance. I wanted to know when to come in to be fitted for a maternity bra the clerk said, "are you at your fullest". I wasnt sure what she meant by fullest. The other representative explained woman come in a few weeks before or after they birth their child. However if you need to special order a bra I can take up to 8 weeks. They will do their best to fit you pregnant but I doubt they will be willing to make any adjustments given they are not honoring Bras Galore policy.

When we asked for help, she dismissed us without a second glance--as if we didn't belong. If it hadn't been for a remarkable salesperson named Bella, we would've walked out on the spot. Bella was calm, respectful, and incredibly kind to my daughter. She treated her with dignity and care during a difficult and deeply personal fitting process. It's important to note: very few places still offer this level of specialized help. Bella did it with grace--and was then openly mocked by the owner in front of us. That a younger business owner would belittle a more experienced and clearly valued staff member, especially in front of customers, is not just unprofessional--it borders on workplace harassment. When I got home, I looked up reviews- multiple sites. The pattern is undeniable: customers repeatedly praise the staff--while calling out the owner's outrageous behavior. And disturbingly, she often responds to reviews by insulting the customers themselves. One person described how a disabled individual was ridiculed. Sadly, this has become more common. A boutique in Northbrook called Such a Deal became notorious for shaming young girls who didn't match the owner's preferred body type. That store eventually closed. Max's in Highland Park also developed a reputation for demeaning its customers. While it's still open, the backlash permanently altered its client base--and its standing in the community. To Bella: thank you. You were the only reason we stayed. You treated my daughter like she mattered. You deserve better.
