I went back to the store and told to the Manager that I was charged twice with another amount of $800. I shown to the manager my bank transaction and my email notification that I was charged twice. The manager told me to wait for 24 hours that maybe it is going to be reversed. Today is already Sunday no reversal yet is happening. I am very frustrated right now knowing it is a big and known clothing store that will make a big mistake like this and can't do anything how to correct the issue. I have already ask the support of the customer service and they also can't help. I am writing this review to send an awareness to make sure that you are not double charged by North Face and especially if you will visit their branch in Woodfield Mall.

I arrived at the store with my confirmation email on my phone and the requested photo identification. I did wait for a couple of minutes in the regular checkout line before being brought to a counter at the back of the store where my order was located. The clerk did the unboxing (really, opening the plastic bag) which is probably my least favorite part of online ordering--don't ask me why. Although the store was bustling on a Sunday afternoon, I was able to try on the coat in a fitting room. It was nice to be able to get fit advice from a professional at the store, and to look at the item in other colors, even though I ultimately went with my first choice. The entire process was speedy and certainly more fun than tangling with boxes and packing materials.

After that, I received an e-mail from Jacob K. with the North Face Online Customer Care Team, asking follow-up questions and wanting more pictures. I promptly responded with answers to Jacob K's questions and provided the requested pictures, but since than there has been no response from Jacob K. or North Face. After several follow-up attempts, still no response. Apparently, North Face no longer cares about Customer Service. After decades of being a loyal North Face Customer, I intend to look someplace else for my outdoor equipment needs.

The manager wouldn't even let me finish my question before cutting me off and rudely saying, "you need the receipt." Somehow that changed and she agreed to do a no receipt return. However, there was a slight mark on the front of the unworn item (tags still on and purchased a little over a week ago) so she said, "nope we won't take this." Zero assistance with helping me find a new item. The trip to MI Avenue & the hunt for parking is worth it to avoid the rude store manager - wish I had gotten her name, but incredibly immature and rude.

After striking out at the first couple stores, I did find something that I thought he would like at The North Face. It didn't hurt that this happens to be one of his favorite brands. Unfortunately this happens to be a North Face store at an outlet mall, not to be confused with a North Face Outlet, which this certainly is not. They did have some clearance, but that was a bit limited, though my find was on that rack (score!). Of course the item I wanted didn't have a tag and was the only one like it on the entire rack, but the cashier was able to use the info on the tags to get the price and get me on my way. Outside of that cashier, there was no greeting or interaction in the store with any employees and I noticed that the other cashier asked their customer if they had a rewards number, but I didn't get the same question.

He takes a little more time with his selections than I do. There is a really nice coffee shop that opened up in the place of Starbucks. Right next door is a macaroon shop.
