It's new and it's near Trader Joe's. Went there to check it out since it just opened recently.
My general impression? It feels like TJ Maxx or HomeGoods and a sporting goods store had an okay looking baby. It feels like a store for people that like to say they go camping, but who, in reality, just like to say they go camping, but would really rather be in a hotel. Me, except, I don't say I like camping, I just go to the hotel.
There is camping gear toward the front along with some things like a kayak cooler that had 4 can/cup holders on it with a cooler section in the middle. You attach it to your kayak by a cord and it floats in back. This makes no sense to me. Why would you want your drink floating along in back of you? You would need to pull it in every time you needed a drink. Silly, but sillier is the fact that they have a bunch of home goods type stuff.
So, if you want to act like you go camping, you can go to the back of the store and buy some home decor like vintage-look prints of Yosemite, pillows, signs that say you are a camper, etc. There are some cool tables and benches that look like a piece of natural wood.
My overrall impression. It's worth a look. There are some interesting items and clothes, shoes, swimsuits, bags, camping stuff, home stuff, etc. read more
